“Joey had the most wonderful stay with Debra! She was so kind and sweet, and understood Joey’s needs as a senior citizen pup. As he’s an old pup his legs are a bit weak; Debra went the extra mile to set up a carpet path and extra bedding to make sure he was comfortable and could walk around. She sent consistent updates and lots of photos. Truly made Joey feel welcome and was the best experience we could have ever had!”

“Ken and Jennifer were amazing with our pup! I could tell that they really cared about him, and kept us updated with lots of great videos and photos. We will definitely be back.”

Would definitely recommend!”

“This was an AMAZING experience!! Zac came and picked up our 2 year old, which was SO helpful as we had a flight to catch. Justine and Zac then dropped her back off at our apartment a few days later. Our dog came back so happy and clean :) We received updates from them daily and she had such a good time socializing with some other dogs!! We will definitely use this amazing couple again and trust them with our puppy.”

“Recently had our first stay with Kandice and couldn't be happier with the experience. We did a meet and greet before the stay and it was obvious that Kandice is an experienced professional. We felt very comfortable entrusting her with our pet for a 8 night stay. Throughout the stay, Kandice gave wonderful updates. Overall, it was a very positive experience for us as owners and judging from the updates our dog had a great time too! We will definitely re-book with Kandice for our next trip.”
“Laila’s love for pups shows. She was extremely caring with our pup and kept us informed with photos. We were so nervous, as we’ve never left our pup with anyone but she really put us at ease. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone trustworthy, caring and professional to watch their pup!”

“Tianci was an amazing host for Cannoli! The level of care and attention to detail that she and her husband gave during his stay was nothing short of impeccable. They took Cannoli on tons of walks, showered him with toys and treats, and gave him an adorable bath and spa-treatment. I highly recommend Tianci as a sitter!!!”

“She was lovely and flexible! My dog had never been boarded before and it went beautifully. Then, when my flight got canceled she was willing to extend his stay.”

“Carl is an amazing sitter! Very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and I could tell our boy was very comfortable and having a great time while we were gone. Carl’s space is fantastic for any pets, our dog loved being there. I will absolutely reach out to Carl first in the future for any sitting needs.”

“The absolute perfect sitter - we’ve never seen Cream be so playful and happy with anyone other than Whidbey (their resident cat), and Sudharshini sends us copious amounts of videos and pictures every day. She truly cares. We have found our go-to sitter!”

“Incredible dog sitter! Zhongni was incredibly attentive, responsive, and went above and beyond taking care of my dog. Not only did she provide regular photo updates, she also took some of my favorite photos of him ever. I highly recommend Zhongni if you’re ever in need of a sitter!”

“Wendy was great to meet and coordinate with for Cheeto’s first boarding visit! I know he had a blast playing with his new furry friends and she sent videos of their playtime. Highly recommend Wendy!”

“I always appreciate booking with Adam! He always makes time for my girl and she comes home so happy! When I ask her about her day with Adam she wags her tail with joy!”

“Kennedy was amazing with our two fur babies! She was able to spend time with them both, even though we are in the middle of a slow introduction process and they are separate, took care of both of their care needs, and even helped bring up a package for us when we were out of town. She was the best, 10/10 recommend!!!”

“Jana did a wonderful job looking after my kitties while we were away. I’d never used Rover before and was concerned because my cats are COVID kitties - they hadn’t met any other people during their 6 months of life. She was very gentle with them letting them slowly get used to her over the 4 days. She sent tons of pictures, gave detailed updates on their feeding schedule, and wrote great reviews on how each of them were doing each visit! I highly recommend her to take good care of your fur babies!”

“Chris was great with the cats and the routine. Even got an almost pet with my super shy kitty. Social kitty had a blast hanging out with Chris. Appreciate the care and agility when I had to extend my trip by a day. We will definitely look to book with Chris again. :)”

“Carter took fantastic care of our kitties and our space. One of our cats has diabetes and needs insulin, and it’s so reassuring to know that Carter is familiar with his needs and can administer his insulin. Our other cat is pretty persnickety about new people but Carter got to know her boundaries and we came home to two very happy cats. We would happily hire Carter again!”

“Erica gave us the confidence to leave Mookie for the afternoon so we could go enjoy a baseball game. He is with us 100% of the time so it was a big deal to have him with a sitter. Communication was excellent, as we received updates and pics throughout the day. Her place of residence was perfect for the pups. This was an all-around positive experience. We are grateful. Thanks Erica!”

About: I've been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was kid. I have professional experience with dog and cat boarding, sitting, walking, grooming, daycare, etc. I love animals and cant wait to meet yours. I work from home as a caretaker so my schedule is extremely flexible and there is always someone home to watch any animals we have visiting. I dont have any animals at home at the moment so there's a clean slate for me to focus on any specialized care your pet may need while in my care.

“Ozzy and I really like Zhongni! She is very thoughtful, caring and really paid a lot of attention to his needs. I know she took excellent care of Ozzy while I was at work and felt very comfortable dropping him off with her. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I highly recommend her as a sitter and will use her again for boarding!”

“I've recently relocated to Seattle for work, and while waiting for my residence to become available, I needed assistance with watching my dog, Fat Boi, during business hours. I connected with Keith, and he's been such a great help! Fat Boi is shy and very attached to me, he's prone to getting a little depressed when we aren't together, but Keith helps to enrich his days and gives him some extra socialization. Fat Boi gets to people watch out from the balcony, and go on walks to see the water, and enjoys some great snacks while hanging out with Keith! I'm grateful that he's been there to look after Fat Boi and give him attention while I'm at work. I'm a long way from home, and so is Fat Boi, and it's one less source of stress in this huge transition to have the peace of mind that my little fuzzy guy is being thoughtfully taken care of until we are reunited at the end of the day.”

“Ada's stay with Myriam was fantastic! I felt like Ada didn't even want to come home. Myriam took her to the park and wore her out, and also worked on some training with her. Myriam also sent updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind. I will be rebooking for sure.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life, from dogs to goats. I have a special place in my heart for dogs though. I have a 2 year old Golden doodle named Voli and he loves meeting new dogs. I work from home for my main job (graphic design), and I work weekend nights as a bartender. So I’m home most of the time and am able to give lots of attention to the fur babies. Although I live in an apartment, I prioritize outdoor activities. With multiple parks nearby, we'll take two long walks or park visits each day. Your dog's health, comfort, and happiness are very important to me!
“Abbie and her partner were wonderful with Bodie! They took him on plenty of adventures and even made sure our picky boy ate his dinner. We would love to have them watch him again!”

“Gabriel has been amazing with Murphy this week! He’s communicative and reliable. Murphy can sometimes be reactive or a little stubborn about walking, but Gabriel handled him so well and was very patient with him. I really appreciated the updates, photos, and extra care during the walks. As I’ve been working long days, I had a last-minute care request and really appreciated that he was able to accommodate it. It gave me peace of mind knowing Murphy was in good hands.”

We love having a furry friend walking around my house! Because we only take one client at a time and don't have any pets of our own, our full attention will be given solely to your pet. Your pet won't be caged. They will free roam in the house and we will spend a lot of time playing with them and caring for them as if they were our own pets. Our goal is not to become a kennel, I want to bond with the furry friend I'm spending time with and give them family-like love and care. I will do best of my knowledge to make them healthy and happy. My biggest joy doing Rover is that I work hard to earn my pet client's trust and see them gradually open up to me and eventually like me back and enjoy their stay. ---- - We will come pick up and drop off your kitty in the afternoon for free in select neighborhoods around Seattle(see below). - People from all ethnicities, religions, orientations, etc. are welcome! - Additional languages spoken: 普通话,日本語 Things to pack/prepare before the stay For dogs, - Leash and harness - food, food and water bowls, treats - (optional) bed. About: Think of me as the cool aunt who skipped kids (dogs) because #broke and now has so much pent up love to give to your fur babies! Through high school/ college I raised a mini poodle named Teddy who now lives back home with my mom <3 I was a personal assistant for 1.5 years where my duties included walking/ feeding a poodle and a mini poodle 2-3 times a day, 5x/week. I would also house/ pet sit, and take dogs to grooming appointments. I have also done pet check-ins for friends over the years! I have most experience with 1-2 dogs at a time, and with smaller to medium sized dogs. I work from home 9-5 M-F, so I have a very flexible schedule :) I can do overnights no problem, and I can also do prolonged stays if you wouldn’t mind me using your dining table to take a couple work meetings on my laptop here n there! My schedule allows for me to helicopter parent your dog if you want me to! I can spend as little or as much time as you need, and I can work pretty well with your current feeding/ walking schedule to reduce stress on your dog. I can send you frequent updates (including cute pics) and take care of some household tasks if it makes sense to! (I am a Capricorn)
“Sarah was amazing with my dog! He was very anxious and had some adjustment issues, and she communicated with me through it all and was very patient managing through it. I would highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m Magdalena, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, reptiles, and other pets, and I attended a Waldorf school on a biodynamic farm where I spent years caring for and learning about all kinds of animals. I started house sitting and pet sitting as a teenager, and since moving to Seattle I’ve continued caring for pets through family friends and referrals. I’ve looked after everything from energetic puppies to senior pets and animals needing extra patience or specialized care, so I’m confident adapting to each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Cats are especially close to my heart, and I have two of my own, and I also do aquascaping myself, which has given me even more appreciation for creating calm, enriching environments for animals. I’ve found that even shy or nervous cats tend to warm up to me with a little patience. I’m active, dependable, and attentive, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind with reliable care and regular updates. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to build it around your pet’s needs. Whether they need early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, medication, playtime, or a consistent routine, I’ll do my best to accommodate what keeps them happiest and most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m committed to providing dependable, personalized care that fits their lifestyle, not just mine. I provide care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. Having worked in housekeeping for several years, I’m naturally clean, organized, and detail-oriented. I’ll always clean up after myself (and your pet!), follow your home’s routines, and leave everything just as I found it. My priority is creating a calm, safe environment where your pet feels secure, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

Would love to take dogs with me on adventures to see places around Washington I have a dog-friendly dog. I am comfortable hosting or going to clients home. Started a job at a pet store recently so your dog will get a lot of free treats!
About: I grew up with a Maltese-Shih Tzu mix, so I’ve had experience caring for dogs from a young age. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping up with your dog’s usual routine. While most of my experience has been with smaller dogs, I’m also comfortable caring for friendly medium and larger dogs and would love having a walking buddy! My schedule is pretty flexible, and I’m completely free on Mondays! I can easily stop by for check-ins, feeding, walks, and some quality time with your pet. I’m also happy to have pets stay with me, including overnight, if you prefer a more home-away-from-home experience. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a designated pet relief area, and my neighborhood is very walkable with plenty of options for walks and outdoor time. I’ll always follow each owner’s instructions and their pet’s usual routine closely, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home.
“Justin was so great with our new dog who is very high energy and was just adopted, so he's still adjusting. Toby instantly felt comfortable with Justin and had a great time!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats nearly my whole life. I grew up with animals of all kinds and have a genuine love and appreciate for them. I am comfortable giving meds including pills, liquids, injections and subcutaneous fluids. I am courteous and respectful of your personal property and pet care wishes. I am a freelancer so my schedule is very adaptable to you and your pet's needs. I like to keep to their routines if possible and will make myself available as needed including early mornings, late nights, or overnight care. I prioritize a safe, stress-free environment tailored strictly to your pet's specific routine and your instructions. I maintain absolute respect for personal property. My focus remains entirely on building trust and ensuring every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well-loved.
About: Most sitters are dog people who also take cats. I'm the other way around. My first cat was Peelu, named for the yellow spots he had, and I've been around cats ever since. Four years of sitting has taught me that every cat runs on its own system, and my job is to figure out yours quickly and then stay out of its way. Some cats want you to leave the room before they'll touch their food. Some need about ten minutes of being politely ignored before they'll come out from under the bed. Some will tell you very clearly that the water bowl is six inches from where it should be. I pay attention to that stuff. I'm comfortable with medication schedules, litter boxes, and shy cats who hide for the entire first visit. You'll get photo updates every time, including the ones where your cat looks deeply unimpressed with me. I do drop-ins and house-sitting around North Capitol Hill, so I'm usually a short walk away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can do drop-ins in the morning, midday, and evening without rushing. Weekday middays are wide open, which is usually the hardest slot for owners to fill. I'm also around most weekends. For housesitting, I'm out of the apartment part of the day but home most evenings and overnight, so your cat gets company at the hours that matter most to them. I keep my Rover calendar current and I'll tell you upfront if I can't make a schedule work, rather than saying yes and figuring it out later. I only care for cats in their own home, which is where cats do best. A new environment stresses most of them out more than a few hours alone does, so I come to them. Drop-ins: I follow whatever routine you already have rather than inventing my own. Fresh food and water, litter scooped every visit, medications on schedule, and play or lap time depending on what your cat is actually in the mood for. I check doors and windows before I leave every single time, and I keep an eye on the things that tell you a cat is off: appetite, litter box output, hiding more than usual, any limping or discharge. If something seems wrong, you hear from me right away rather than at the end of the week. Housesitting: Same routine, plus I'm there overnight. I'll bring in mail and packages, alternate a few lights, and generally keep the place looking lived in. I treat your home like a place I'm a guest in, not a place I'm staying at. No guests, and I leave it the way I found it. Before the first booking I'll ask for your vet's info, an emergency contact, where the carrier is, and anything specific I should know: escape artists, cats who bolt for the door, food aggression between housemates, or a cat who needs to be left alone more than most.
“Erin has been wonderful to work with! Great communication on scheduling and feedback about my dogs. They loved her instantly on our meet and greet! Thank you Erin for taking care of them!”

“Bruce was excellent, communicated perfectly, and clearly loves dogs. He helped me out when I couldn't walk my sister's dog. My sister and I will definitely request his help in the future. Thank you Bruce!”

“Ian has walked Zoe multiple times and is always reliable, attentive, and he provides consistent updates. He's also flexible when needed. Most importantly I believe he cares about Zoe and her well-being so I would definitely recommend him to anyone”

About: I have worked with dogs throughout the lifespan and have volunteer experience working at a doggy daycare. I am trusted by many friends and family in taking care of their dogs, along with other animals, for multiple days at a time. I know that schedules are very important for dogs and I want to help make that possible for you and your pets! Animal sitting is my full time job. I am available for boarding throughout the week. I am flexible but am also looking for an ongoing long-term set schedule. Rover rates represent the base pricing and are subject to change based on the specific care requirements of your pet. Before we begin any service, I like to set up a phone consultation to see if we are a good match. Then we will schedule a drop in visit to go over your pets daily routines. It is important for me to stick as close as possible to your pets daily routine.
About: I have taken care of family dogs for many years, and have raised my own two Golden Retrievers from 8 weeks old. I have always loved animals and love learning how to communicate with them. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can work with whatever requirements you have. I also live downtown with a car, so I can drive to you. I am happy to take your dog for a walk, give them pets/cuddles in your home, or play with them in your yard! I am comfortable walking multiple dogs at once (if you have more than one) or can take your pups for individual walks if needed. I will treat your animals as if they were my own!

“Ken and Jennifer were amazing with our pup! I could tell that they really cared about him, and kept us updated with lots of great videos and photos. We will definitely be back.”

“Joseph did a great job with communication, giving my dog what she needed, and helping me feel confident about having her in his care. Would definitely book again!”

“Catherine takes care of our Oreo so well! She has such a calming energy and so friendly. She always send pictures and updates! I can not rave enough about her!”

“I always appreciate booking with Adam! He always makes time for my girl and she comes home so happy! When I ask her about her day with Adam she wags her tail with joy!”

“David is SUPER attentive to my 7 yr old Siberian Husky, he tailors his day around my dog (Ari)'s energy level and keeps me updated on every walk they do and food she eats. Whenever I leave Ari with David, I don't feel bad at all- because she looks super happy all the time it's like she's on a vacation (sometimes I get jealous she's having a better time than I do). Thank you for everything! AGAIN!”

“Randsell was super communicative and was very caring! I could tell our cat was very reluctant in parting ways with her when I went to pick him up. I'm very grateful she was available last minute for our trip to cat sit.”

“Jeremy was incredible with our two babies. He went above and beyond to make sure they felt welcomed, loved and comfortable while we were out of town. He took them for fun daily adventures, and when we returned they almost didn’t want to leave with us. It was clear they had the best time! 1000% recommend; and will definitely be using again! Thanks Jeremy!”

“Jordan was absolutely AMAZING with our dog, Lilo! 🐾 From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable knowing she was in such great hands. He sent us plenty of updates throughout her stay, which we really appreciated and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We ended up running late getting home, and Jordan could not have been more understanding, flexible, and accommodating. He truly went above and beyond for us and for Lilo. We seriously cannot recommend Jordan enough. If you’re looking for someone who is caring, communicative, reliable, and genuinely wonderful with dogs, BOOK HIM! We would trust Lilo with him again in a heartbeat. A million out of ten! ❤️🐶”

“My dog did wonderfully with Eric!! He sent consistent pictures and was super communicative about how my dog was doing. He was great with my quirky goofball and we're planning on coming back!! ☺️”

“Second time having Karen & Matt watch Merle, and to no surprise, it went amazing. They are so welcoming and love him just like he’s theirs. Karen even noticed some physical / behavior changes in Merle and let me know what she saw, validating how much I know they care about fur babies.”

“Sharon was a great communicator and very warm and receptive from the beginning. She took wonderful care of Kaju, careful of his special needs following a recent surgery. Would happily recommend her and use her services again.”

“Meagan was amazing! Very communicative and felt comfortable with my dog-reactive dog. I’m very grateful to have found Meagan. My dog seemed very happy and comfortable in the photos!”

“My dogs were cared for in a very professional manager. Sena and her son take care of the dogs together. I left my two pit bulls with them and they had the comfort of their own room for the duration of the booking. I received frequent updates on the status of my dogs and pics and videos. I was glad to get back to them but had no problem leaving them in her care! Highly recommend.”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”
