They got along fabulously and her dogs are so affectionate and sweet. Maria is also flexible with arranging pick up and drop off times which is greatly appreciated. Milo usually has some trouble eating when he is away from me. Maria quickly figured out how to soothe his anxiety and got him to eat quickly. About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 5 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work three days a week for no more than 5 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 5 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night.

“Maria and Kalyan (and Nikko) provided excellent care for Hazel while I was away. Hazel can be a bit anxious when I leave her with a Rover, but they helped her settle in right away. They sent lots of photo and video updates, so I could trust that Hazel was being well-cared for. They really understand Aussies. And by the end of the weekend, Hazel was even caught holding hands with their dog Nikko! New bestie acquired! I would gladly book with them again, and I think Hazel would be thrilled as well.”

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“What a great setup Tamar and Amy have! Wood chips, playsets, cots, rain shelters, divided yards. Bosco came home happy and pooped. Communication was great, photos daily, and easy pickup/drop off. (First timers...be sure to go to the side gate, not the house). We are so excited to have found a caring place to watch our pup when we're away and that is equipped to handle a 90 pound goofball labrador with ease. Thanks again!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”
