About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for dogs and other pets for over 20 years, and it’s something I truly love. My background includes dog walking, group management of 10+ dogs, and even veterinary technician experience — so I’m comfortable with pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also share my home with the most amazing Texas Dumpster Fox, Fuzz (a rescue from Texas), so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family member. I now work full-time outside of Rover, but I’m still available for overnight pet sitting. When I walk or care for your dog, their safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll make sure they get the right balance of exercise, sniffing, and attention (or space!) depending on their personality. You can also count on me for photo updates and detailed notes so you know exactly how things went. I’d love to meet you and your pup — let’s get walking! I do have a full-time job Tuesday-Saturday but I can always take a break or 2 (or more) during the day depending on your pets needs. When watching your pet, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I follow the owner’s instructions, keep a close eye on their surroundings, and make sure they get the right mix of exercise, sniffing, and fun. I also provide photo updates and notes after each visit

From the meet and greet I could tell Matt was very sweet to my Lola and empathetic to my anxiety of leaving my elderly pup alone. Matt was very attentive to following the list of directions for my pups eating and med routine and was so kind to send me updates each time food, meds and potty breaks happened.
