🌟 About Me: Hi! I’m Sarah, a pet sitter and dog walker based in West Seattle. I care for both cats and dogs and I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments, including those with medical and special care needs. I cared for a diabetic dog for 10+ years and can confidently give both oral and injectable medications. Alongside pet care, I work as a household manager and nanny for a private family, so I’m a trusted housesitter who’s comfortable staying in people’s homes and handling private information with respect and care. I share a dog with my long-distance boyfriend and if I traveled less, I’d definitely have one of my own. In the meantime, getting to love on your pets truly fills that gap. I treat every animal like family with patience, care, and plenty of affection.

Wow, Sarah is the best, the boys loved her!!!
Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of my small dog Josie for a weekend while I was out of town. She kept me updated throughout the weekend and it was clear that Josie had an absolutely fantastic time with her. I will absolutely rebook with her for all future needs! It’s clear that she’s a dog person and very caring. ☺️

Sarah was a great communicator and took good care of Max, sending many photos.
Sarah has now watched our cats twice during a period where they are not getting along. She did a great job with some complicated care instructions and didn't hesitate to ask questions. For our most recent trip she was flexible as the kitty situation evolved prior to us leaving. During both trips we received lots of photos and updates, which helped us with peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a clean house and happy kitties!
Phoebe had several great walks with Sarah!! Sarah is very communicative, caring, and sends so many great pictures and videos :)

🕒 Availability & Daily Routine: I work outside the home full-time on weekdays, so I’m best suited for pets who are comfortable with a quiet, relaxed day. I provide consistent morning and evening walks, meals, playtime, and lots of affection, and always aim to keep pets on their normal routines. This setup works especially well for independent dogs, adult pets, and cats. I’m always happy to talk through your pet’s needs to make sure we’re a good fit. I’m comfortable with house sitting, overnight care, drop-ins/walks, medication administration, and regular photo updates. 🏡 In-Home & Overnight Care: I’m happy to care for your pets in my apartment or right in their own home. My apartment is a three-floor walkup (no elevator) and not soundproof, so this is something to consider if your pet is older or has difficulty with stairs. I'm dependable and follow instructions closely (including how to handle any special needs) and always make sure your pet stays safe and happy. As a trusted housesitter, I respect your home and privacy, and I'll send plenty of photos and notes so you can relax while you’re away.

🐾 A Typical Day with Your Pet: I like to keep things simple and fun, based on what your pet actually enjoys. For dogs, that might be a walk around the neighborhood, a morning hike, a game of fetch, or just hanging out in the yard if they like to sniff and explore. Some dogs love a bit of playtime while others just want a companion to relax with - I’m happy to match their energy. For cats, I usually go at their pace whether it’s interactive toys, gentle play, or just keeping them company while they do their thing. I focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable, gets attention, and has a little fun while you're away:).
