“Grant was an amazing dog sitter for our two (very reactive) pups. This was their first time with a dog sitter / dog walker, and they absolutely loved him - even the one pup who doesn't like anybody! Grant was very communicative, and provided pics of the pups daily. He took great care of them. We would recommend him to anyone.”

“Thank you so much! Rachael spent three nights with our terrier and was so sweet taking care of him and chilling with him (he’s 12). Definitely would love to work together again!”

“Love having Ellie stay with our dog Nova. She took such good care of her while we were away, Nova seems very happy in her presence. Can’t wait for her next stay.”

“Sara was fantastic and provided excellent care for our pup, chickens and garden. She send regular updates, was flexible with our last minute booking and an unusual chicken egg explosion. I would highly recommend her as a dog/house sitter!”

“Madeline is great! Our dog loves her. She provides us with lots of updates and sends us plenty of photos. It put us at ease. She took excellent care of our home and our dog. They went on lots of walks. This was our first time using a Rover house sitter, so we were a little nervous and not quite sure what to expect. All went smoothly, and we will definitely use her again. I appreciate her great communication with me throughout the stay. Thanks, Madeline!”

“I cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are to Maiz for jumping in, mid-crisis, and taking care of our pup Michelle. He was our absolute hero. Kind, courteous, compassionate, and responsive. He sent photos and videos, took Michelle for walks and kept us updated. We felt relieved knowing our dog was in good company and being cared for. Thank you, Maiz!”

“Cynthia is fantastic! Very punctual, thorough and responsive, I feel so comfortable leaving my pets and house in her care. I had absolutely no worries being away for a few days. Came back to a clean house and happy cats. Will definitely ask Cynthia to take care of home and pets again!”

“Molly was an amazing dog/house sitter! She took great care of our dog and house. Molly was very communicative, keeping us updated throughout, and incredibly understanding when we had to adjust our travel plans. We highly recommend her!”

“Such peace of mind for our whole family. Emily was reliable and took such loving care of our elderly dog, including helping him up the steps and giving him the endless pets he adores. We so appreciated the photos!”

“Nadiia catsat my shy, sometimes-hissy cat for 10 days and she was super communicative and very patient as my cat slowly warmed up. She and Vlad left my home is great shape! Can’t recommend them enough :)”

I am available for morning, daytime, and night time walks, check in’s, feedings, and potty breaks. I will be driving to/from the pets home. I have a pet friendly apartment that is very welcoming to animals. We are quiet people and provide a safe space for the animals to feel comfortable while their parents are away.
“Jude took great care of our pups on a last minute booking even when one of our dogs was having some tummy troubles. He administered meds for the pups as needed and sent pictures every day. Would recommend!”

“Lucas did a great job taking care of my dogs and my home. He was conscientious, had great interactions with my dogs and communicated well. I will definitely book him again in the future.”
“Dana took amazing care house sitting our Beagle (Bonnie) and communicated clearly from start to finish. She was thoughtful and proactive when a few unexpected things came up, and we’d absolutely recommend her for house sitting and pet care!”

“I cannot thank Amanda enough for the wonderful care she provided for our kittens, Ava and Leo. She went above and beyond, ensuring they were not only well-fed and clean but also showered with affection. It was clear that Amanda has a natural ability to connect with animals; she spent extra time playing with them and even sent us daily updates with adorable photos and videos. Her sweet and personal touch made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We came home to two very happy and contented kittens, and for that, we are incredibly thankful. Amanda even cleaned our house before she left. A+ and thank you Amanda!”

West Seattle pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are so grateful for Gillian’s patience and appreciation for dogs! We have two BIG ones, and one is a young, in-training and still mostly naughty but still sweet 80 lb dufus. We knew our pets and home were in good care while having to travel for work. It was a great peace of mind knowing Gillian understands and is flexible to the pups needs. We came home to two happy pups that weren’t stressed by our absence, so that’s 100/10 in my book.

Grant was absolutely wonderful with our high maintenance, reactive Frenchie Fudge, who has medical and behavioral needs. He was super patient, detail oriented, and loving with Fudge. It was such a relief having him in such good hands. And he left our home spotless! I recommend Grant without hesitation and we'd love to have him sit again.

Deanna was great with my animals while we were on vacation! Our animals were happy to see us but honestly couldn’t care less that we were home so I know they were well cared for. She was also able to stay another night when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled at the last minute. I haven’t had good luck with a rover sitter in a while and I’m really happy I found Deanna!
Wonderful, kind, patient! Dylan took all the time needed with our very old lady (Stella the dog 15.5yo) while also being attentive, loving and playful with the three boys (kitties age 9 and 3). Stella is a delicate flower these days, and Dylan went out of his way to keep her balanced and at ease. Much gratitude to him!

Hilary was great! We were extremely comfortable leaving our pup with Hilary while we were away for a week. We received great communications and we could really tell that she was caring for our pup's needs and paying attention to any distress. I have nothing but great things to say. Totally recommend Hilary!
Yasiel was prompt and responsive when booking. We set up a meet and greet and he also stopped by again one more time before I left to make sure the pets were comfortable with him. My dog Oakley loved him and I think had a good time. He did great with the pets and left the place clean. I also received multiple pictures a day which was great.

Madison is a gem! Professional, trustworthy, and a true protector for our dogs. She communicated beautifully throughout the week and handled everything with grace. Chacha and Khai were so well-cared for—we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Sarah has now watched our cats twice during a period where they are not getting along. She did a great job with some complicated care instructions and didn't hesitate to ask questions. For our most recent trip she was flexible as the kitty situation evolved prior to us leaving. During both trips we received lots of photos and updates, which helped us with peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a clean house and happy kitties!

Sara was wonderful with our pets! Our dog is an elderly Terrier mix, and she can be high-strung and anxious. Sara was incredibly patient and gentle with her while we were gone for several days. She also took great care of our two cats and gave them lots of love and attention. All of our animals relaxed around her after just a short time. Sara got to know each animal's personality and appreciated their quirks. She was very good about communicating with me every day to let me know how things were going, and she sent me some very cute photos. :-) Sara took excellent care of our home, too, and everything was clean and tidy when we returned. Knowing our home and fur babies were well taken care of allowed me to truly relax on our trip. We will definitely book Sara again.
