Our French Bulldog, Bobo, is our child, and this was the first time we had left him since he suffered an IVDD flare earlier this year. Needless to say, we were incredibly nervous. Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. They immediately put us at ease and kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, it was obvious that Bobo wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely cared for and loved. When we picked him up, he was happy, comfortable, and clearly had been very well cared for. As pet parents, that’s all you can hope for when leaving your dog with someone else. Kevin and Kandice are trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional. We are so grateful for the care they provided and will absolutely be using them again. In fact, if they’ll have us, we’d love for them to be our permanent dog sitters. About: I am a dog lover and have had them since I was young! I have had lots of experience watching other people’s dogs and love making them feel like my home is their home! I also have a dog of my own and he loves to play so would be a great play mate for your pup! I have a remote work schedule and take my dog on at least two 30+ min walks in Lincoln Park. While I’m working, my dog hangs around the house, spends some time watching birds and squirrels in our little yard and snoozing on the couch. I have walked and dog sat for many different types of dogs and different lifestyles. I will care for your dog in the way you typically care for them, follow your schedule and ways of doing things.

Whether your best friend is bursting with energy and needs long walks, or just wants a patient companion to chill on the couch with, I’m ready to adapt to their pace! I am also fully comfortable administering medication and strictly adhering to your special care instructions. I know how tough it is to leave your furry family member, so you can count on me for frequent updates and photos for your total peace of mind! During the week, I commute to work, but my girlfriend, Claire, is an experienced dog sitter who inspired me to create my own Rover profile after I enjoyed helping with her bookings. She’s usually home until 3:00–4:30 PM, depending on the day, so on workdays, the longest your pet would typically be alone is from then until I return around 7:30 PM. On my days off, your pet will rarely be left alone and will enjoy plenty of companionship and attention. I make sure they get regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime to burn off energy, along with plenty of couch cuddles! I’m also happy to follow any specific feeding routines or medication schedules to keep your pet comfortable and maintain their usual routine. Having cared for pets for years, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I am highly attentive, patient, and strictly follow all of your care instructions, including administering medications if needed. If I am hosting at my place, I have a fantastic window setup that cats absolutely love for bird-watching! No matter whose home we are in, I tailor my care to your pet's energy levels and send frequent photo updates so you always have peace of mind knowing they are safe and happy.
