My dog takes a very long time to warm up to anyone, and within a day or two of her stay with Mimi she was snuggling right in and seemingly very happy. Mimi shared regular updates and was very attentive to my dog — even arranging for a nail trim and picking up a prescription that we unexpectedly ran out of. It's obvious how much she loves and cares for her own dog and she did just the same with our pup. Throughout the weekend we got the sweetest updates about Fran and her adventures with Maisy (who is the sweetest pup and such a great buddy to our dog!) When our flight was suddenly cancelled, Lorrie and Andrew didn’t hesitate to help us make sure that our dog was in great hands while we scrambled to get back home. Aaron and Gio were such great sitters for our two handfuls (sometimes) of English bulldogs! They sent photos and updates and were very accommodating to our last minute need of finding a dog sitter. We would definitely love to hire them again! Our dogs clearly loved being there as the more emotional one has been moping around ever since we picked them up 😂 First experience on Rover an glad it was with Aaron and Gio!
Maria was an excellent sitter for our pup! She was extremely communicative and responsive to all the quirky needs our dog has. It’s clear Maria has a great sense of different dog personalities and knows how to make sure they get everything they need. She sent photos of the beautiful walks they took and snuggles the had while we were out of town which was nice to see. Will definitely work with her again!
Ben is AWESOME. After our regular sitter of several years was unavailable for our last trip, I was nervous to look once again for a new one. I brought our dog over for a meet and greet, and was convinced Ben was the sitter we were looking for. I was further validated during Trico's actual stay, where Ben spoiled the heck out of him, taking him on all kinds of adventures, and sharing loads of photos and videos with us. Our dog is the best (of course :) ) but he has his quirks, like any dog. The biggest being how reactive he can be toward other dogs. This is the #1 thing I always worry about when leaving him with a sitter. I felt completely reassured during our initial meeting and Trico's stay that Ben has exactly the energy and knowledge to handle dogs with reactive personalities, as he says in his profile. All this to say, I would recommend Ben to anyone who wants total peace of mind that their fur baby is completely taken care of.
Elle is top notch. She's more of a dog whisperer than an actual human. If we ever find out that we can have two way conversations with dogs, it will be Elle that makes the discovery. Our sweet pooch loves going over to her canine chateau. It's filled with love, attention, care, and the type of respectful pampering treatment usually reserved for veteran spa goers. She's as good as it gets. So if your pooch wants a great place to go, take her/him/them to Elle.
