“Christina was super flexible with a last minute request to walk my very high energy German shepherd puppy. She took him on a great loop around the neighborhood and provided picture updates from the walk. Absolutely would book again!”

“My shepard husky mix, loves her walks with Alexa! She has some separation anxiety at timea and since we had a few walks with alexa she seems to be getting a but better with that! Alexa is really flexible, which is nice is things come up. Thanks again for taking good care of my fur baby!”

“Another great trip with Lucas. He is very careful in Our scorching heat and makes sure the dogs don’t over exert and the walking route is safe for their paws”

“We recently started working with Gillian for weekly walks for our senior pup, and are so happy that we connected with them! Our experience so far has been wonderful. Gillian is thoughtful, responsive, and given their experience as a vet tech we are confident in their ability to take care when spending time with our dog, who is arthritic and has some medical issues. Gillian communicates well, and when we come home after work our dog is chipper and relaxed and we know he had a good day.”

About: NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SEATTLE AREA UNTIL MAY 15. I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. I have experience looking after a wide range of dogs, from big to small and of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered at Family Dog Rescue in San Francisco. More recently, I spent some time at Emerald City Pet Rescue, where I cared for small dogs and cats. Currently, I am responsible for the week-long care of a senior Labrador (for the past 4 years), and I help another household with hunting dog mixed breeds. I am also capable of handling both low-energy and high-energy dogs. I am currently on winter break until late January and have high availability. I am also willing to take care of people's pets when I am back home for other breaks and near my university (Amherst, MA) I always make sure to give pets their own time to adjust to me and their environment. I always want them to feel comfortable and safe, especially in their own home. If any kinds of issues come up, I will always make sure to notify the owner.
“Joline offered to walk my dog with another companion dog and without. Gigi is very dog friendly and really enjoyed walking with a new friend and I liked having the choice available. Joline brought my dog back safe and sound, and Gigi even gave her a small appreciation kiss! We would easily ask her to walk Gigi again, or even babysit her.”

“Amanda is great! Follows instructions and makes sure my dogs are taken care of when she walks them! I also appreciate that I don’t have to keep reminding her to feed and top off the water bowl. Would definitely book again!”

“I am new Rover user and Katie has been a godsend. She house sat/watched my pup when I was in Hawaii for a bit and did a great job. She's very good at providing details about the day and sending pictures of Biscotti. She also helped me out last minute when I ran up to Bellingham to see a friend. She rules. You should book her.”

I keep things tidy, lock up carefully, and make sure everything is left exactly as I found it. I send regular updates with photos so owners feel connected and reassured while they’re away. “Anastasiya was great with Nacho during a last minute switch to my schedule! She was flexible and came at the time asked for. Really appreciate her taking out my little guy for a walk. Will be using her next time!”

“Our dog was such a happy guy! Billy was very communicative and sent us pictures of his walk that made it clear he had a great time. Would recommend Billy to anyone looking for a great fur companion!”

“I just loved meeting Morgan when she came for meet and greet with my two puppies. She had a great attitude, the dogs immediately gravitated to her, and I could tell they would have loving and safe care. Everything went well on their walkabout, and I look forward to booking her again. Morgan, you’re awesome!”

About: Grew up surrounded by animals, 3+ dogs at home and time on a farm in Wisconsin, so caring for pets is second nature to me 🐾 I’ve also spent years dog sitting (including overnights), so I’m very comfortable keeping pups happy, safe, and on their routine. I moved to Seattle about a year ago and love walking around Lincoln Park, Alki, and West Seattle, aka prime sniffing territory. I’m a huge dog lover, but with occasional travel I can’t have one of my own right now… so I’m here to get my paws, on time with yours 💛 I work in tech sales and am remote 2–3 days a week, which means lots of flexibility and attention for your pet. You can count on a calm, loving environment, plus regular updates and photos, because no one likes to be left on “paws.” 🐶📸 I will be able to provide morning walks, lunch walks and long evening walks after work if it is during Mon-Friday. During the weekends I am available to walk whenever! I will be unable to provide care in my own home as they are now allowed. However, I will provide a calm, safe, enriching environment in your pets home :)
“Jessica took great care of Bailey! He had a fun walk in the snow. She was kind enough to clean him off after being him back inside. Would love to book with her again in the future!”

About: I have lived with, taken care of and walked dogs since I was a teenager and had cats for almost 20 years. I took care of my family dog from puppy to senior dog, walking her on a modified leash to help her in her old age. I have had cats from kitten to senior cat. When I don't have a project I will be available anytime to see pets. I will do drop ins for cats and dogs. Visiting them, giving them attention and play. Cleaning any litter boxes, or accidents. I will refill food and water and make sure they're okay.
West Seattle dog parents share their Rover experiences
We adopted our dog two weeks ago and Michaela has been helping with midday walks a few days a week. So grateful for her patience and care. Our pup is still adjusting, but she handled every visit and walk with calm and kindness. She is responsible and respectful of our home.

Joline offered to walk my dog with another companion dog and without. Gigi is very dog friendly and really enjoyed walking with a new friend and I liked having the choice available. Joline brought my dog back safe and sound, and Gigi even gave her a small appreciation kiss! We would easily ask her to walk Gigi again, or even babysit her.

Deanna was wonderful! She showed up on time and was incredibly patient with my 14-year-old Australian Shepherd. It’s clear she truly loves animals and has a calm, caring presence. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

Hilary was great as always. We needed a last minute midday walk and she was very flexible. When our pup decided that she only wanted to walk for half of the time, Hilary brought her back and hung around with her for the remaining 30 minutes. As always we are extremely comfortable with leaving our pup in Hilary's care
Cesar has been taking care of my pup for many months now and he continues to go above and beyond with his level of care. Cesar is loved by my pup and I adore him for his reliability, consistency, thorough communication and kindness. When my pup had some tummy trouble, he went out of his way to help and clean up a surprise accident upon arrival and even went back to my house to help me with a stool sample. I feel such a sense of calm when I know he will be there. Thank you, Cesar, for being so solid!

Pam was a dream for our first Rover experience. I'd just adopted Coco and was a little nervous leaving her with someone new, but Pam put me completely at ease. The photos she sent were ridiculously cute, and you could just tell Coco was having the best time, I think she was smiling in one of the pics. Would 100% recommend her to anyone, especially if you've got a nervous new pup.

11/10 Stars! Pamela is a wonderful dog walker. I felt my Kiki was in good hands. Arrived on time, transparency with Doggy Report Card, followed pet-care instructions to a T, timely updates and responses. I will definitely reach out to Pamela again in the future. Thank you so much ;)

Meredith is the best dog walker I've ever had, and I've had a lot! Her care, dedication, and attention to detail really shine in her work, and she is also super personable and friendly. Honestly, after two years she feels like family and I will forever recommend her services!

Melody is great with our dog Luna! Luna has stayed with her and Harper a couple of times, and she absolutely loves it. Melody has also walked Luna when we couldn’t get home in a pinch, and we came home to a tired, happy dog. She’s communicative, caring and diligent.
