We recently started working with Gillian for weekly walks for our senior pup, and are so happy that we connected with them! Our experience so far has been wonderful. Gillian is thoughtful, responsive, and given their experience as a vet tech we are confident in their ability to take care when spending time with our dog, who is arthritic and has some medical issues. Gillian communicates well, and when we come home after work our dog is chipper and relaxed and we know he had a good day.

About: NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SEATTLE AREA UNTIL MAY 15. I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. I have experience looking after a wide range of dogs, from big to small and of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered at Family Dog Rescue in San Francisco. More recently, I spent some time at Emerald City Pet Rescue, where I cared for small dogs and cats. Currently, I am responsible for the week-long care of a senior Labrador (for the past 4 years), and I help another household with hunting dog mixed breeds. I am also capable of handling both low-energy and high-energy dogs. I am currently on winter break until late January and have high availability. I am also willing to take care of people's pets when I am back home for other breaks and near my university (Amherst, MA) I always make sure to give pets their own time to adjust to me and their environment. I always want them to feel comfortable and safe, especially in their own home. If any kinds of issues come up, I will always make sure to notify the owner.

I am new Rover user and Katie has been a godsend. She house sat/watched my pup when I was in Hawaii for a bit and did a great job. She's very good at providing details about the day and sending pictures of Biscotti. She also helped me out last minute when I ran up to Bellingham to see a friend. She rules. You should book her.

About: Hi there, my name is Abby! 🤗What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the combination of my calm, intuitive approach with real hands‑on experience, paired with my love and passion for animals of all kinds! I’m skilled at reading animal body language, building trust with shy or anxious pets, and maintaining structure for pets who thrive on routine. I’m also comfortable with special‑needs care, including administering oral medications, supporting senior pets, and following detailed care instructions. Because I’m patient, observant, and genuinely invested in each animal’s wellbeing, I treat every pet like they are my own — not just a booking. My goal is always to help them feel safe, understood, loved and cared for while you’re away! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by trade and work as a therapist 100% remotely from my home. My flexible schedule allows for me to accommodate the dates and times you may need a sitter for your pet and allows me to drop in frequently, every 2 hours. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, consistent, and respectful environment. I follow the pet’s established routines closely, from feeding schedules to playtime to any special instructions, so they feel secure and comfortable in their own space. I’m attentive to details like fresh water, clean litter boxes, and monitoring behavior or appetite changes. I’m also very mindful of the client’s home. I keep things tidy, lock up carefully, and make sure everything is left exactly as I found it. I send regular updates with photos so owners feel connected and reassured while they’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that supports both the pet’s wellbeing and the owner’s peace of mind.

About: Grew up surrounded by animals, 3+ dogs at home and time on a farm in Wisconsin, so caring for pets is second nature to me 🐾 I’ve also spent years dog sitting (including overnights), so I’m very comfortable keeping pups happy, safe, and on their routine. I moved to Seattle about a year ago and love walking around Lincoln Park, Alki, and West Seattle, aka prime sniffing territory. I’m a huge dog lover, but with occasional travel I can’t have one of my own right now… so I’m here to get my paws, on time with yours 💛 I work in tech sales and am remote 2–3 days a week, which means lots of flexibility and attention for your pet. You can count on a calm, loving environment, plus regular updates and photos, because no one likes to be left on “paws.” 🐶📸 I will be able to provide morning walks, lunch walks and long evening walks after work if it is during Mon-Friday. During the weekends I am available to walk whenever! I will be unable to provide care in my own home as they are now allowed. However, I will provide a calm, safe, enriching environment in your pets home :)

About: I have lived with, taken care of and walked dogs since I was a teenager and had cats for almost 20 years. I took care of my family dog from puppy to senior dog, walking her on a modified leash to help her in her old age. I have had cats from kitten to senior cat. I have also walked neighbors dogs, taken care of friends and family's cats and dogs when they were away. I really enjoy being around animals. I have been called the animal whisperer by my family for years and truly enjoy being around animals! I am currently a freelance video editor. When I have contracts I'm working on, I work from home and can leave to do my pet sitting. I can balance my day around visiting pets for drop in's and walks. When I don't have a project I will be available anytime to see pets. I will do drop ins for cats and dogs. Visiting them, giving them attention and play. Cleaning any litter boxes, or accidents. I will refill food and water and make sure they're okay.

Cesar has been taking care of my pup for many months now and he continues to go above and beyond with his level of care. Cesar is loved by my pup and I adore him for his reliability, consistency, thorough communication and kindness. When my pup had some tummy trouble, he went out of his way to help and clean up a surprise accident upon arrival and even went back to my house to help me with a stool sample. I feel such a sense of calm when I know he will be there. Thank you, Cesar, for being so solid!

Pam was a dream for our first Rover experience. I'd just adopted Coco and was a little nervous leaving her with someone new, but Pam put me completely at ease. The photos she sent were ridiculously cute, and you could just tell Coco was having the best time, I think she was smiling in one of the pics. Would 100% recommend her to anyone, especially if you've got a nervous new pup.
