About: Hi, I'm Stella! My legal name (which Rover requires me to display) is Leigh, but in day-to-day interactions I prefer to go by Stella. :) Although I've been a cat person all my life, I've also always loved dogs. Recently my family members have been adopting dogs into their various collections of pets, including a Manchester terrier who has decided I'm his second favorite person (besides my mom, and I can't blame him there!). I've absolutely loved the opportunity to care for him when my parents travel a few times a year, and will absolutely bring that same level of enthusiasm to caring for your pup! I'm primarily self employed, as well as doing gig work, so I have a lot of flexibility to give your pet the care they need on a schedule that works for you! I'm most often available on weekdays, as the gigs I do usually fall on weekends. I'm very interested in learning your pet's personality, and taking the time needed to get them comfortable with me. I'm particularly good at "cat language", but am dedicated to learning "dog language" as well. I'd also love to hear from you about your pet's likes, dislikes, preferences, and anything else I should know to give them the best experience possible!

About: Been around animals my whole life, love cats and dogs, i work a flexible schedule so I'm open to last minute requests and changes as needed. I am very responsible and responsive, so even though I am new to Rover, you, your pet, and your home are in good hands <3 I work remote freelance, so my schedule is completely flexible and open when I am in town! Last minute from same day to same week is easy for me :) I am flexible to provide any care you specify and adapt to your needs! I am great at following instructions and always play on the safe side so your pet takes priority!

About: I’ve been a dog/cat/ bird sitter for friends, family and neighbors. I’m very responsible, friendly, and take pride in what I do. I love it! :) My schedule is flexible. If you are running late from work, don’t worry. I got you! I’ll give your fur baby the same love I give my own doggie and birds. Each pet is different and special. About: I've taken care of dogs all sizes and ages. I have experience giving medication, that includes doggies who are reluctant to take it :) I have facilitated general comfort care for dogs in the past that suffered from seizures. I'm no stranger to long walks, giving baths and even assisted with training a friend's puppy. Dogs and cats bring a lot of joy to my life and I would love to help make your life easier, and you can know your furry friends will be in great hands! I work full-time from late afternoon to night, so I have a good chunk of the morning/early afternoon to get walkies in with your dog and give out tons of scritches and treats! I'm also available any time during my days off! For now, I won't be caring for your pet in my home as my dog has trusting issues. However I am available for dog walks and drop-in visits at your home!

About: Hi, I'm Thuy ("Twee" or Nikki). Former social worker and teacher, now a stay at home mom working part time on my art program for neurodiverse children. Animals are my other love! I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child, but more so recently after leaving my career. As a stay at home mom, I have the extra time and attention to care for your pet. And I will love them as they are a part of my family! Since we don't have pets, Rover has been the next best thing to happen for us. We've bonded deeply with the ones that we've had the chance to care for and are so grateful. Co-regulation happens. Safety happens. Play happens. We really enjoy every experience. As a neurodiverse family, it's been so healing for our brains and nervous systems. I am at home full time 7 days a week. If I'm not doing home duties, I am spending time with my kids outside. I have two boys ages 5 and 7 who I homeschool. They are sweet boys and love animals as well. We'd love to have a companion to join us on our walks and small adventures (if that's their thing). Otherwise, staying in is so nice too - we love doing art, making food, and having company at our cozy home ❤️ We have AC for the hot summers for added comfort. I have most experience with small dogs that require gentle care, administering medication, and providing care for their special needs. I am at home full time 7 days a week. My husband is a small business owner/chiropractor with very flexible schedule so if I need to run errands, he takes over. Someone is always home so your pet will never feel alone. Providing safety is essential in building trust and a good relationship. Providing the environment for rest and play is secondary but equally as important. I strive to make every pet comfortable in our home, respect boundaries, and cater to their specific needs.

So whether your pet has endless zoomies or is a total couch potato... they’ll be safe, understood, and cared for exactly as they are. 💛 I work a balanced schedule of WFH and in-office hours. My availability reflects days that I am either off-work or can be flexible and WFH. You have a guarantee that I will be able to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout listed days. I have a non-fenced 800 sq-ft townhouse on a pet-friendly shared lot. Care in home (both in my home and your's) is negotiable and based on your preferences! In my home, your pet will be allowed on furniture and will be supervised during potty breaks outside. Please specify any crating preferences. (You will need to bring their crate and supplies with you.) I have a small, 13 y-o chihuahua mix who does well with other pups and may be in the home at the same time, if not with his spare humans! Potty breaks throughout the day. Walks usually occur in the afternoon unless otherwise specified.
