“Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

“Jana definitely helped me out during a week where I had long work hours. She was able to come by daily at the same time, walk my dog, send me updates and pictures, and also fed my dog after the walk. I highly recommend using Jana for any dog walking services!”
“Hi I just wanted to a minute and talk about how amazing Heidi is! Heidi is so great with Bruno, I've seen such a change in him since she's been in his life. When I get home and take him out he's happier and more relaxed than before. With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️”

About: I'm incredibly detail-oriented and used to managing everything from high-energy "zoomies" to meticulous grooming needs. I’d love to give your dog the exact level of care, structure, and affection they deserve while you're away. Hi, I'm passionate about providing a safe, active, and reliable home-away-from-home for your furry family members. I thrive on routine, and I ensure that the dogs in my care enjoy a balanced mix of structured downtime, high-energy play, and plenty of affection. Because I maintain a consistent Monday–Friday work schedule, your pup will enjoy a peaceful, predictable daytime environment, followed by a fantastic afternoon adventure. The very second I get home at 4:00 PM, it’s all about the dogs—we head straight to the park for a favorite game of fetch and a refreshing, long walk to burn off energy and explore. When the weekend hits, the schedule opens up completely! Saturdays and Sundays are entirely dedicated to my canine guests, meaning they get my absolute, undivided attention, extra long adventures, and all the belly rubs they could ask for. Leaving your pet and your home in someone else's hands takes a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. When I watch your pet in their own environment, my top priorities are maintaining their established routine and keeping your home secure.
“10/10 — We were so worried about our reactive old lady pit bull finding a walker who understood her needs, and we’re SO thankful we found Andy. Sadly, we’re moving across the country, but we would’ve used their services forever if we could have. We did walks and over nights. Andy was always kind, communicative and sweet to Pearl. We cannot thank you enough, and we’re so happy Pearl had such a nice friend. Thank you, Andy!”

About: While I don’t have extensive professional experience caring for other people’s pets, I have been around animals my entire life. My family has always had either a cat or a dog, which has given me experience with the daily responsibilities of caring for pets and understanding their needs. I currently have open availability Monday through Sunday, from mornings through evenings. Since I am not working at the moment, I have a flexible schedule and am available for house sitting or dog walking for extended periods as needed. While I do not currently have any pets of my own, I am committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for every client’s pet. My goal is to make sure they feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for while they are with me.
About: Hi, I'm Kyrie! From helping puppies with potty training to giving medications and teaching dogs to walk calmly on a harness, I’ve dabbled in a bit of everything! I’ve gained years of hands-on experience caring for pets and homes for friends and family. I treat each home with the same respect and care as my own—and every pet like they’re part of the family. I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals—not just dogs and cats, but also small pets, reptiles, and more (just no large farm animals). Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or easygoing, I’m happy to tailor my care to their unique needs. I do work full-time for King County Parks and Recreation. My work is based in Renton, but my schedule offers some flexibility with start and end times. I make it a priority to ensure your pets receive consistent, loving attention, and their needs are met. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or feathery, or scaly) family members! My schedule is somewhat flexible—I can usually adjust my start time to accommodate your pet’s needs, as long as I'm able to be away from the home during my work shift. Being an active person, you can count on me for long walks, fetch sessions, or cozy cuddle time on the couch. I bring a brain full of enrichment ideas for high-energy pups and plenty of patience and calm for pets with anxiety. I aim to make every pet feel safe, stimulated, and loved—no matter their personality! At this time, I’m not able to care for dogs in my own home, but I’m fully committed to providing attentive, reliable care in your home. I’m comfortable walking dogs using a variety of leads and harnesses, and I have experience handling leash-reactive dogs with care and confidence. I’m always alert and proactive when it comes to avoiding unsafe situations. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, I’m detail-oriented and focused on creating a safe, secure environment where your pet feels comfortable and well-cared for.
About: Hello! I'm Shelby. I live with my dog, Maggie, and my cat, Neko (both senior gals), but I still gasp audibly every time I see an animal in the street. I know how scary it can be to be away from your pets, especially if you have to leave them with someone you don't know. I also know how important it can be to leave them with someone you really trust. I promise I'll take care of your babies like they are my own - and I'd love to send you a bajillion pictures of their adorable little faces, too. Rover is my full-time job at the moment! Please check my calendar to see what days I am available for walks, boarding, and other services. I live in an apartment in an older home in the Central District with a fenced yard. Please note I have an elderly cat and dog who are both friendly with other animals but fairly low-energy. My animals have mostly free reign of the apartment - they're allowed on the couches, beds, etc, but I try to keep my dog from going into the bathroom so she doesn't get into my cat's litter or food. As a house- and pet-sitter, I aim to treat your space and your animals the way you would - with respect, love, and care.
“Justin does a great job walking our two Labrador Retrievers. He is responsive, on time, and flexible - everything I was looking for in someone to walk them consistently! We will continue to use him !”

“Jeffrey was very responsive, timely, friendly and communicative! Appreciate his extra attention and patience with our senior dog, and of course love the pics! Would love to have him again!”

“Logan is a wonderful pet lover! He takes really sweet care of my pup with special needs and communicates frequently and well! So glad we found him and my dog adores having a visit from Logan!”

About: I've been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was kid. I have professional experience with dog and cat boarding, sitting, walking, grooming, daycare, etc. I love animals and cant wait to meet yours. I work from home as a caretaker so my schedule is extremely flexible and there is always someone home to watch any animals we have visiting. I dont have any animals at home at the moment so there's a clean slate for me to focus on any specialized care your pet may need while in my care.
“Erin has been wonderful to work with! Great communication on scheduling and feedback about my dogs. They loved her instantly on our meet and greet! Thank you Erin for taking care of them!”

About: With me, your pup is never competing for attention. I provide exclusive, one-on-one care so they feel safe and at home. I’ve cared for dogs for over 12 years, including Italian Greyhounds, Dachshunds, Whippets, Chihuahuas, Poodles, Border Collies, and Terriers. My lifestyle is quiet and calm, which makes me especially attuned to sensitive, low-energy, and senior dogs who need a little extra understanding. My own dog, Clark, a whimsical and willful 12-year-old Poodle, recently passed from mitral valve disease which progressed to congestive heart failure. While this is sadly common in Poodles and other small breeds, it’s never enough time to say goodbye. Dogs will always be a part of my life, and I’d be honored to welcome yours into a calm and nurturing home. Through supporting Clark, I became deeply experienced in senior care- administering oral medications, monitoring for signs of distress, and creating a peaceful environment where he could feel safe and loved. I’m comfortable with medication management, light grooming (teeth brushing if tolerated, baths, and nail trims), and I keep essentials like pee pads, a litter box, and a playpen for dogs who are dual-trained or prefer enclosed rest. I also have a backpack carrier for pups under 15 lbs who like to come along on errands. I live near downtown Seattle, so I’m very vigilant during walks. I keep dogs on a close leash when needed, and for small dogs I’ll scoop them up if a large dog, bike, or scooter is approaching or when crossing busy streets. Safety is always my top priority. I’m typically home all day, and if I do step out, it’s never for more than 3–4 hours. I know the local emergency vets in Seattle and can quickly recognize signs of illness or stress. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care that feels like an extension of your own love for your dog. Since I’m currently in school remotely, I’m home all day to provide attention and care. I may run errands but takes no more than 3-4 hours. If your pet is under 15lbs, I can Carry them in my backpack pet carrier and they can come with me. My apartment building is very secure. A fob is required on entry. The building is quiet and I like to keep a short leash upon entering and leaving.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child, from chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs! I once trained a Rottweiler puppy commands in sign, English, and Spanish (it was hard work and I am not exactly looking to do so again haha). I am going to interviews and babysitting so my schedule is fit to change, but for now my weekends, mornings, and nights are open for your furry babies! I will follow the owners lead on comfortability for walking paths, dog friendly parks, and what is wanted to be done within their own home.
“Ludo, who I adopted two months ago, has been adjusting and having some accidents. Bruce has been so communicative and has cleaned up his accidents even though I absolutely do not expect him to and have not asked him to. I cannot express how grateful and relieved I am to have him coming to walk Ludo while I am working. I know my special needs dog, who has seizures, is in great hands!!!!”

“Fantastic experience for mom (while traveling) and fur baby (home, waiting…) for a long weekend away. Alex did a wonderful job with our pup who was thrilled with her daily outings to her favorite parks and daily updates. Already booked for our next vacation and so happy knowing our dog is in excellent hands!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - International District
Mead did a fantastic job. She easily won over my 5 year old pittie mix and took really good care of her on walks. She was very knowledgeable about dog handling and behavior. She even started to teach my pup a new trick (spin)! Mead was also good with my elderly cat, who warmed up to her quickly. All-around wonderful experience. Thanks, Mead!

Roman was very comfortable with my reactive dog and very professional. It was my first time using Rover and I felt very at ease with how he communicated and just seemed so experienced with different dogs and behaviors. Definitely would be happy to hire him again.

Michael did a great job taking care of my dog Kit while I was across the country. I had never used a service like Rover before, and was nervous initially, but after a couple days I was completely comfortable, and would absolutely utilize Michael’s services when I’m out of the country in the future!
