About: Hi! I'm Gena. I've always had a special place in my heart for animals, and caring for them has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Growing up with a family dog in Hong Kong and later caring for my two cats for several years taught me that every animal has their own unique personality, quirks, and way of showing love. I genuinely enjoy taking the time to earn a pet's trust, understand their needs, and make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I also graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, where I studied animal behavior, welfare, and health. My education helps me better understand how animals communicate, recognize signs of stress or discomfort, and provide thoughtful, attentive care. Friends often describe me as empathetic, gentle, and dependable. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and reserved, or an older companion who needs extra patience, I'll care for them with the same kindness and attention I'd want for my own. I work fully remote with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I can easily accommodate their routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection! I'm clean, organized and responsible. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines. I take the time to earn each pet's trust, respect their boundaries, and keep their environment clean, calm, and secure. I'll also provide regular photo and text updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

The very second I get home at 4:00 PM, it’s all about the dogs—we head straight to the park for a favorite game of fetch and a refreshing, long walk to burn off energy and explore. When the weekend hits, the schedule opens up completely! Saturdays and Sundays are entirely dedicated to my canine guests, meaning they get my absolute, undivided attention, extra long adventures, and all the belly rubs they could ask for. Leaving your pet and your home in someone else's hands takes a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. When I watch your pet in their own environment, my top priorities are maintaining their established routine and keeping your home secure.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child, from chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs! I once trained a Rottweiler puppy commands in sign, English, and Spanish (it was hard work and I am not exactly looking to do so again haha). I am going to interviews and babysitting so my schedule is fit to change, but for now my weekends, mornings, and nights are open for your furry babies! I will follow the owners lead on comfortability for walking paths, dog friendly parks, and what is wanted to be done within their own home.

About: I have experience working with and caring for dogs and cats. I’ve raised my own dog and cat since they were babies. I work remotely from home and have been helping my friends and neighbors with their pets, including walks, sittings, and boardings. I genuinely care, which shows through my work and interactions with animals. My pets are my babies so I know how nerve racking it can be to leave them in the hands of a stranger, but rest assured I will love and take care of them like my own. I’m available to do walks any time of day and available to do sittings/boarding upon request. I live in an apartment downtown and am very used to walking my own dog around the city. I also love to take my dog to walk the waterfront or take the train to Marymoor dog park. I’m able to spend 24/7 with your pet if needed. Otherwise, I have cameras in my home to check on the pets. Additionally, I’m very particular and follow instructions, including your pets triggers to prevent any high stress situations. I will always do my best to advocate for your pets safety and comfort when in my care.

About: I have taken care of and connected naturally with dogs (and several types of animals) my entire life. Every time I even pass a dog on a lonely day I feel I have passed a best friend and all will be well. I just think they are one of the biggest gifts to humanity. I have a few fields in working with dogs in the past, besides my own who recently passed away in 2023. Speaking of her, I gave her the best life I knew to. We did everything together. We moved to around nine cities across the U.S. together. She lived a very rich life—after I rescued her. I have been a dog musher assistant in a past life, a vet tech intern, and started my working life in high school in a pet shop where I learned a lot about the health of different breeds. On a daily basis I track rescues for dogs in the hardest parts for them to survive in in our country and others, and try endlessly to advocate for them. …As much as they love us, why would I not want to help back? I have full time entry work in finance, but since I have lost my girl, I am in need of a hustle off the clock that lets me keep putting my love for these babies somewhere. Also, if you have a cat or other animals, know I’m originally from the country in Alabama and come from a family of both cat, dog and all animal lovers. I hope to meet your little love bugs soon. -Sarah Flexible currently—My company has me as an “on-call” until they can find a permanent space. Evenings might be best long-term. Company shifts are 9 hours. First off, anything they can ingest which might be harmful needs to be out of their reach. Good sleep, exercise, diet and quality time essential. I will need to see all dogs’ shots are up to date before services so as to not pass any diseases to other dogs, fyi.

About: I am so excited to care for your pets! I grew up in a house full of furry friends, so caring for them is second nature to me. During the last five years that I lived in Bozeman, MT, I became an experienced pet sitter and quickly became the go-to person for friends and neighbors whenever they needed someone reliable to watch their pets or pop in for check-ins. I’m working towards getting a bigger place and being able to adopt a pet of my own one day, so getting to hang out with your animals is truly the best part of my week! Because of that, your pets will get my absolute undivided attention, tons of affection, and the same care I’d give my own pets. I’m currently a law student, so my schedule is way more flexible than the typical 9-to-5 worker. I study from home a lot, which means I have plenty of availability throughout the day for midday drop-ins, flexible potty breaks, or just keeping your pet company. I am also totally focused on hitting my 10,000 steps every day, so you can count on your pet getting some excellent walks. Whether your pet needs a structured routine during the day or just a reliable buddy to break up their afternoon, I can easily fit them right into my daily routine! When it comes to caring for your pet, my top priorities are safety, trust, and following your routine or schedule. I really appreciate clear, detailed instructions, so if you need things done a specific way, I will follow any rules and schedules exactly as they are written. I am a big believer in communication, so you can expect regular updates and photo check-ins from me so you always know how things are going. If I am house-sitting, I will treat your home with total respect.
