Pet care experience

Your fur babies’ new best friend ☺️

Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a Seattle local of 6 years and I care for both dogs and cats. I live with my partner Leo and our two cats, Max and Khalil, and we love having animals around. Our home also has a large yard, which is great for safe, supervised outdoor time. Dog walking is what I do most, and I put a lot of care into making walks enjoyable, consistent, and suited to each dog’s energy level. Walks can be simple neighborhood routes, park visits, or longer outings if you would like, since I have a car. For dogs staying with me, the yard gives them space to relax and play between walks. I also provide attentive cat care and understand how important routine is for cats. I am happy to help with feeding, litter, playtime, medication, and quiet companionship, especially for cats who prefer a calm and familiar environment. I have experience with pets ranging from very active dogs to more laid back companions, and I am comfortable administering medication, bathing dogs, and following detailed care instructions so pets can stick to their normal routines. I communicate clearly and consistently and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I am also happy to help with plant care while you are away. If you are looking for reliable dog walks or thoughtful care for your dog or cat, I would love to help.

House Sitting • Jun 16, 2026

Emily did a great job taking care of Penny, especially giving her a liquid antibiotic via syringe which was an unplanned care item. Penny was very happy and well adjusted when we came home which meant she was quite comfortable with Emily. The house was in perfect shape and we would definitely have Emily sit for us again.

Emily does a great job with our large dog who is very hesitant with new people. She won him over very quickly!

Drop-In Visits • May 12, 2026

Emily provided detailed updates and lots of photos for each visit. She was able to administer my cat’s inhaler. I had no worries about my pets while I was gone - they were in good hands and were very comfortable with Emily.

Emily was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful with our new dog (who is frankly not the best leash walker yet!) in a last minute emergency request. Would absolutely recommend and will use again!

Pets

A typical day

I live in Central District by Madrona Valley. We go for long walks in the neighborhood, and we’ll take the car to go on hikes just outside Seattle sometimes too. If your pup has favorite dog park, I’d be happy to keep up their routines. Depending on your pets personality/comfort, Seattle is very dog-friendly so I would be happy to take them with me to run errands and see friends.
