About: I’ve cared for animals most of my life. I grew up with a dog who is now 18 years old, so I’m very familiar with the patience and consistency required to care for pets through every stage of life, including senior care. A few years ago an orange stray cat showed up at my door and decided to stay. Since then I’ve become very much a cat person as well. Caring for her taught me a lot about earning an animal’s trust and working with different personalities, especially with independent or cautious cats. I also enjoy interacting with pets beyond basic care. I’ve trained my cat to do several tricks and she even uses communication buttons, which has been a fun way to engage her mentally and build a strong bond. Overall, I’m attentive, patient, and very observant of animal behavior. I try to understand each pet’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I work in tech and have a relatively flexible schedule, which allows me to plan pet visits throughout the day. Because my work is not strictly tied to a fixed schedule, I’m usually able to accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on what a pet needs. I’m generally available on weekdays and weekends for drop-ins or walks, and I try to keep my schedule manageable so I can give each pet proper attention rather than rushing between visits. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any specific habits your pet has. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and body language so I can respond appropriately, especially with shy or anxious animals. I also make sure doors, gates, and food storage are secure and that the home is left clean and tidy after each visit. I provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well. My goal is to make sure pets are comfortable, well cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: I have 6 years of dog care experience. I’ve also dog sat for friends in college and neighbors after graduation. I’m located in downtown Seattle and can take care of your furry baby that fits your needs. I have a 7 year old corgi and she’s the absolute sweetest. She corgi does well with other small/medium sized dogs. I’m currently taking a break from work and investing more time in studying. All to say, my schedule is flexible to meet your needs of dog walking or dog sitting. I live in an apartment which is right across the street from Amazon’s dog park. My location accessible so we can meet at a convenient location for pick ups or drop offs.

I work from home, so I can provide attention to your dog all day! We are very active, with multiple walks a day around the city, off leash dog parks (if you are ok with it), and weekend visits to bigger parks! I am flexible with dropoff and can even provide pickup/dropoff within a reasonable distance of Seattle. I will tailor my schedule to accommodate your pup's bathroom schedule. Growing up with, and continuing to care for, animals of my own has taught me so much about providing care at every stage of life. About: I have been around animals since I was in diapers, and pet sitting since I can remember. First for family, then for friends. I have experiences with large dogs (my aunt has two mastiffs), smaller dogs, cats of all shapes and sizes, and even the occasional reptile. I enjoy the playtime and companionship just as much as my furry friends. I am working full-time, transitioning to a lighter work load in the next few months. That being said, I usually have flexibility during the day for a mid-day walk and I always have time in the early morning and early evening. I also spend a lot of time in the city so I can usually be booked during weekends as well. I do not have any pets so I have a perfect home to give your pet undivided attention. No yard but I live a block from Central Park so lots of fun awaits us just around the corner.

About: I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet care! For the past 4 years, I have been a volunteer at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, dedicating 2 hours a week to working with shelter dogs. I am extremely experienced with a variety of different types of dogs and I'm often asked to work with the more high needs dogs at the shelter (high energy, anxious around new humans, etc) because of my expertise. In addition to my work at the shelter, I have a regular client whose two dogs I have been walking weekly for a year, but I am hoping to expand my services. I am a teacher, so over the summer my schedule is extremely flexible. During the school year, I work 7:30-3:00 Monday-Friday so I am available in the late afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I live in Capitol Hill, but I'm willing to travel and I do have a car. I will happily follow any directions you leave in terms of dog care. While I don't specifically have experience caring for dogs in their own home, I believe that my experience working with shelter dogs gives me the flexibility and adaptability to meet your unique needs.
