About: Lifelong dog and cat owner, new to Rover. Ready to drop in and take care of your dog or cat! I have tons of experience caring for my own animals, so I would love to provide some peace of mind while you are out of town, busy with work, or just need a break! I'm currently a full-time student, and have a very flexible schedule. I am available all days, except Friday, and most hours of the day! I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages and mobilities, I can adapt to whatever level of care you need for your special friend!
“Sami was so great! She kept me updated with photos, videos, and details of the visit. She also made an effort to keep my home clean and scooped my cats litter box while I was gone. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up caring for a Chow mix, a Chihuahua, and several tortoises. I have also lived with cats via roommates. Since then I have pet sat for my family and friends many times. Joining rover because I miss having more time with pets. Caring for them has taught me so much about the little things that make each of them feel loved and at home and how unique each pet’s personality can be. I have cared for several different kinds of dogs and cats. I have experience giving pets medication if needed and walking dogs (sometimes multiple at once). I have the patience to let them sniff as long as they want because that’s how they experience the world around them. Most importantly I just want to make pets feel safe and cared for while their humans are away. I’m currently working part-time and also work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available for house stays sporadically throughout the week (weekdays or weekends) I just need to know at least a week ahead of time. I’m available for drop-ins after 2pm. When caring for pets in their home, I try to focus on keeping their normal routine. I follow their feeding, walking, medication and care instructions carefully while also giving them plenty of playtime and affection. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m respectful of your home, keeping things clean and tidy. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind and feel like you’re right here with them.
“Mariia was once again great at taking care of my cat on a short notice, I specially love her daily updates and feel at ease knowing Neo is in good hands while I was out of town. Thank you!!”

About: As a former dog daycare employee in the Queen Anne/Magnolia area and a current volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter, I have plenty of experience with these loving animals, sometimes watching up to a few dozen of them at a time. I have lots of experience in pet sitting/walking friends and family dogs! I'm currently available most days, morning to evening. I’m a volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Regional Animal Shelter (King County) but only a few hours a week. I will make sure to keep this updated frequently. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I am always very considerate and have been trained to understand body language given from dogs. Especially on walks when there are other dogs/humans nearby, I will make sure to keep your dog at a safe distance to ensure the safety of everyone!

About: Hi! My name is Prisha and I’m a new grad living in Seattle. I love dogs and I had to move away from my own, Leo, so I’m looking to give other Seattle pets love and exercise. I have been dog sitting for about 4 years and have also raised my dog since he was 6 weeks old. I am open to house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks (even runs if your dog is up for it). 😊 I’m currently working hybrid as an engineer so I always am looking for time to spend with pups. When I am not in the office, I am free for house sitting, walks, and drop in visits. I also have flexible work so I can move my in-office days around to accommodate for your pets. I am also free on the weekends and usually enjoying the weather outside. I can crate your dog if you want or keep them confined to specific spaces especially if I am house sitting or doing drop-in visits.
About: Hi, I’m Jessica! I have grown up with all sorts of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and cows. Currently, I am an Aunt to one energetic golden retriever and 2 cats. Over the past 5 years I have watched dogs and cats in the city for friends and co workers and would love to watch your fur baby too! I have experience with caring for dogs with anxiety and elderly pets. I am a pretty active person who loves hiking and checking out new places in the city. I work full time from home. Usually my work hours are set in CST so I start early and end early afternoon, leaving a very flexible schedule with lots of time and energy to spend with your pets! I am very easy to communicate with and love spending time outside. I am easy to work with whether it’s for a quick check in, walks while you are away or reliable boarding. I live in an apartment but there are fenced in pet areas on the property. I also own a vehicle to take pets to the park, drop off/pick up or sitting at your home. I have worked in hospitality for over 15+ years. I know exceptional care is all about trust, attention to detail, and personalized service. I’ll treat your beloved pets with the same level of care and dedication we provide to guests at our five star properties.
“Miriam will now forever be our go to sitter! She went above and beyond for us and our kitties right from the beginning when our previous sitter bailed for a meet and greet and Miriam showed up in 15 minutes! And we booked her right away! Our kitty is also on medications and the refill wasn’t ready until after we left town and Miriam picked it up for us - absolutely above and beyond! Miriam takes great photos and we really enjoyed her notes from her drop in visits! We also have a kitty that gets separation anxiety poops and she unfortunately had to clean it up and she did so with no complaint. She left our house clean and followed instructions on returning our house keys!”

“Olena was absolutely wonderful! This was my dog Charlie’s first time staying home alone, and she completely put my mind at ease. She was prompt, reliable, and incredibly responsive throughout every visit. I loved receiving photos and updates, which helped me feel connected and reassured while I was away. Olena made sure Charlie got his walks, plenty of attention, and lots of love during her check-ins. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being and comfort. Knowing he was in such capable and caring hands made all the difference. I would absolutely book with Olena again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Olena, for taking such great care of Charlie! 💕”

“I would definitely recommend Kevin. He was able to come by quickly to do a house visit, and sent thoughtful, observative updates about my pet while I was away. Thank you!”

“Akiko was absolutely wonderful! Our dog had a really hard time the first few visits with having a new person taking care of him (he was hiding and being shy). Akiko was very communicative, gentle, and patient with him. Akiko took the time to ask us about his personality, his favorite toys, how he liked to play, etc. By the end of the trip, he was jumping up and down with excitement to see her. And she sent lots of video and picture updates to keep us feeling connected to our dog. Highly recommend and plan to use again!”

“Working with Winston was a great experience. I was nervous leaving my anxious kitty with someone new, but Winston's obvious caring and concern for Sammy's well-being, not just food, water and litter, showed through. Sammy even eventually came out of hiding for pets on his own, a huge accomplishment. Winston also alerted me to a maintenance issue that came up so I could get a work order in before I even got home. I would use Winston's services again in a heartbeat!”

“Cassandra was an excellent sitter to our dog & cat. Our dog can take a while to warm up to new friends; Cassandra was patient and kind, and kept us informed of the progress being made with every visit. It was obvious through her updates that she paid a lot of attention to how the pets were doing when she stopped by. We’ll definite use Cassandra again in the future!”

“Yiying was amazing! I really appreciated that she took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand, and she immediately made both me and my cat, Ari, feel comfortable. Ari warmed up to her so quickly, which was really reassuring and made me feel so much better about being away. She checked in on Ari every day and was so sweet and attentive with her. She spent time playing with her and keeping her company, paid attention to how she was doing, and was really thoughtful about her food and usual routine. She was also incredibly responsive and sent lots of pictures and videos, which I genuinely looked forward to and which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I could tell Ari was really comfortable with her and being very well cared for. I’m so glad I found Yiying, and I’d love to have her take care of Ari again!”

“Aly was great with my cats and even the one that is wary of new people warmed up to her quicker than he usually does with others. She was very communicative and took lots of great pictures. I felt very safe having her watch my cats.”

“Bruce was great! He followed all instructions I left and really made an effort to approach my shy bunny in a calm, patient manner. Would absolutely book him again ◡̈”

“Ponyo is amazing! We love having a sitter for Winston that we can trust. She gives detailed updates and sends pictures at every check-in. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with a variety of dog breeds. Some had jobs, like guarding or hunting, while others were simple companions. We believe the dog's personality and inclinations determine a dog's role. I love all manner of dogs. I support zero discrimination against size, age, breed, need, or quirk. I love to adapt my technique to accommodate the specific needs of each dog in my care. I am mild-mannered and nurturing, naturally connected with dogs. I currently am unable to own (or board) a dog as my apartment building has restrictions. Therefore, I have a pretty open schedule. I desire quality time with a pup in need of the same. "It takes a village to raise a family," they say. I am available to be the extra member of support for the health & happiness of your loved one(s). I work from home with very flexible hours. I am happy to supplement my days with some quality play or walk time with your pups while giving you relief, thus allowing you to tend to other matters when needed. In addition, I can build routines around your needs. I can work with your dog in the environment you provide, be it your home, the local dog park, or simple laps around the block. But, ultimately, It is of the utmost importance that trust is established and maintained throughout our working relationship. I understand how challenging it can be to find someone with whom you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your pup, and I intend to be that person.

Kimberly has gone above and beyond to care for my cats when I was away for 2 days. She made sure to follow specific dietary restrictions for each of them. She’s organized and detail oriented, always showed up on time and sent detailed notes and a lot of photos. I couldn’t have hoped for a better sitter to look after my cats.

I’ve been a repeat customer of Jen’s for a few years now, and our most recent trip we needed someone to watch our 2 cats for two weeks. The only person we trust enough while we’re gone for that length of time is Jen! It’s hard to be away from your pets for that long, but we feel peace knowing they’re being loved, played with, and cared for. Thank you for everything Jen!!!

The best Catsitter I’ve ever had! Extremely professional, communicative, responsible, and just does the most doting on my beloved fur baby. I feel 100% comfortable leaving town knowing Edward is taking such great care of my kitty. He really goes above and beyond

Dorothy is dependable and detail-oriented. I appreciate that she makes sure she does the little things I've shared that make a big difference for Bentley, even if it's been a long time since she's seen him. I know I can trust Dorothy to take good care of Bentley. ☺️
