Knowing that Karissa is caring for her really allows me to relax and enjoy my time away, instead of worrying about how well Tabby is being taken care of. Karissa's work goes far beyond just checking to see if Tabby has enough food and water. Karissa follows my written instructions carefully. She has learned how Tabby likes to play, and she spends much of her time interacting with her in the cat's favorite ways. Karissa sends me texts and videos while I'm gone, so I can see that Tabby is doing well and having fun. When I return, Tabby is always calm and happy, so I know she has been well cared for and has received lots of attention while I was away. Karissa even visits Tabby at other times than when I'm gone, to stay connected and because she enjoys interacting with her. In addition to taking excellent care of Tabby, Karissa is very trustworthy in my home, and she is also careful in locking up when she leaves. Karissa knows that Tabby would love to escape when she has the opportunity, so Karissa is very careful to guard doorways when she comes and goes. Karissa is truly an exceptional pet sitter, and Tabby and I are extremely fortunate to have her as part of our lives!”

About: I've loved dogs since I was a child, and have owned them as pets since age 9, first a beagle/basset mix, a springer spaniel mutt, and lately a black lab mix. During high school and undergrad I worked as a dog sitter and dog walker. I love dogs of any size and any age! While I have worked as a pet sitter in the past, currently I'm only looking to walk dogs due to a lack of space in my current flat, and as a way to help the community and indulge my love of all things canine. I have traveled extensively in the US, Europe, and New Zealand and love walking pets as a way to explore cities, and meeting dogs is always the best part of any trip. I would be more than happy to walk any dog of any breed, size, temperament, and age. Give me a call if your pet needs any exercise! I currently work full time, though part time from home. I enjoy having a dog to walk when I take breaks, as well as during the weekends. I treat clients dogs like my own, including walking them at their own pace and giving them all the attention they indicate that they would like.

“Jasmine is the best! We did a meet and greet with her and our dog before the visit, so that he would recognize her when she came. She was very engaged when we were explaining how it would be best for her to check on him, she asked questions to make sure everything was clear. She was very punctual to the visits. After each of them, she left us a thorough description of the visits and a bunch of photos! It’s clear our dog had a great time with her, and her thoroughness with the after visit summaries gave us peace of mind while we had to be away from our dog.”
