I adopted Wally from shelter 10 years ago, and he's been getting 10k steps a day ever since. I frequently care for friends' dogs, and would love to help yours get out more. I'm a freelance software engineer with control over my schedule and a very predictable routine. I can accommodate walks almost any time during the day with a little notice. I live in an apartment in SLU with a very high energy beagle. I know how to keep him stimulated and and well exercised. We know all the parks and neighborhoods nearby and where to get a drink of water on a hot day.

I treat every pet I care for like my own I’m available for cat care in the noon/evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends. I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and caring for them, and I make sure each visit is calm, consistent, and attentive. I care for cats in their own home by following the owner’s instructions carefully so they stay comfortable in their normal routine. I make sure they are fed, have clean litter boxes, and fresh water at every visit. I also spend time giving attention and companionship based on the cat’s personality (whether that’s playtime or just quiet company). I always make sure the home is secure before leaving.

I work from home, so I can provide attention to your dog all day! We are very active, with multiple walks a day around the city, off leash dog parks (if you are ok with it), and weekend visits to bigger parks! I am flexible with dropoff and can even provide pickup/dropoff within a reasonable distance of Seattle. I will tailor my schedule to accommodate your pup's bathroom schedule. In my home, the dogs are allowed everywhere. I can crate the dog if necessary. We can do a meet and greet so that your dog can get comfortable with me and my pup. I will tailor my care to your pup!

About: I've had dogs my whole life but gotten more seriously involved with them in the last 8 years or so. In that time, I've owned and trained two personal dogs. I've also done at-home boarding and dog walking for friends and family for the last 5 years. In addition, I have experience with fostering rescue dogs, having cared for over 10 different dogs in my home, from puppies to seniors, including dogs with special needs and dogs without any training. I found it extremely rewarding and I am hoping to foster more in the future, as personal life and work commitments allow. While I do not have professional dog training experience, I have enjoyed training my personal dogs, foster dogs and others. I find it challenging and fun, and I have done everything from puppy training, crate training, leash skills and obedience. I also have experience in handling fearful and reactive dogs. I like to utilize balanced training methods and tools, or if the owner prefers, I can also stick to positive reinforcement only. I never have more than 3 dogs in my home at a time (one of them being my personal dog). I am currently working full time in a structured, dog-friendly office. Well behaved dogs come along with me and get plenty of love, care and affection. There are currently only 2 dogs at the office (one of them is my personal dog) so it is not a chaotic environment. I also have the ability to bring crate dogs at work, if needed, or give them personal space away from other dogs. I am home during the weekends and holidays, and like to get out and spend quality time with my personal dog, such as hiking, swimming, city walks or training in public. I never have more than 3 dogs in my home at a time (one of them being my personal dog). I live in a pet-friendly apartment, with no private back yard but have access to a potty area in the building. There is also a park just across the street. While this depends greatly on the dog, with my personal dog I utilize free-roaming as well as crating in the home. All dogs are treated like family and allowed on furniture, if well-behaved. Structure is important in a multi-dog household so I utilize baby-gates, crating, and separate rooms, if needed. Of course, we also play games, use enrichment feeders/toys and enforce rest time, as needed. I never have more than 3 dogs in my home at a time (one of them being my personal dog).

About: I have experience caring for and training young pets, including helping reinforce routines, basic commands, and good behavior with patience and consistency. I’m very attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means keeping an energetic puppy engaged or making sure a shy pet feels comfortable and safe. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and always try to give them the care, attention, and love they need while their owners are away. I work EST hours and keep a consistent daily routine, which makes it easy for me to plan pet care into my schedule. Dogs naturally become a part of my routine, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just making sure they get attention and companionship throughout the day. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and a consistent routine while in my care. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and always want them to feel relaxed, cared for, and at home.

About: Most of my experience comes from caring for my own dog and watching friends’ dogs on occasion! My girl loves to play with other dogs so we love when there is another furry companion to join her. I currently work 4 10s during the week, so looking to help out on my day off but mostly weekends! My girl has very high energy, so we take frequent walks and have ample amounts of play time to make sure she’s properly exercised. I personally let my dog roam my apartment when i’m gone but I have crates if your dog is more comfortable with that! I also allow my dog on the sofa and she sleeps in the bed with me at night, which your pup is welcome to do as well. I don’t have a yard but I take my dog out at least three times a day but more than willing to do more if your dog needs!
