There will be at least a few glamour shots. I’m especially available for morning, and midday walks or check-ins during the week and weekends. Since I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love having dedicated time to focus on yours. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’m attentive to body language and behavior, and I give pets plenty of space and comfort when they need it. I’ll also keep you updated with regular checkins and photos so you always know how your fur baby is doing. I treat every pet I care for like my own I’m available for cat care in the noon/evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends. I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and caring for them, and I make sure each visit is calm, consistent, and attentive. I care for cats in their own home by following the owner’s instructions carefully so they stay comfortable in their normal routine. I make sure they are fed, have clean litter boxes, and fresh water at every visit. About: Hello, my name is April! Although I'm new to Rover, I have taken care of multiple cats and dogs for friends over the past 10 years while they are out of town on weekend or month long trips. I've also owned pet rats and cared for a friend's hamster, so I'm comfortable with small animals too. I have experience with giving oral medication to cats and rats. Most of my pet-sitting experience has been with cats, but I love dogs too! I will only accept 1 client at a time per day, so I can make sure your pets get all the attention they need! I would like to do a meet and greet with new clients before accepting bookings, to make sure that your pet and I would be a good fit and that I can provide the care that they need! What to Expect for Overnight Housesitting - I have a foldable mattress I can bring to sleep on, so you don't need to worry about setting up a bed for me. I don't mind sleeping in a bed with your pets though if that's what they prefer. - I can stay with your pets during weekdays since I work from home, as long as I can use your Wi-Fi. - I can also go back to my home for a couple hours everyday to shower/get food, as long as your pet is okay with being left alone for a few hours. But if you would like me to stay for 24 hours a day, that can be arranged as long as I can use your shower and kitchen. - I may ask if my boyfriend or a friend can come over during the day if you are okay with me having guests over. I can bring my boyfriend to the meet and greet as well so he can meet you and your pets. Schedule: For housesitting on weekdays, although I do work remotely from 7am-4pm on weekdays, I'll try to follow your pet's regular schedule as much as I can. I'll be sure to respect your space and make sure your pet feels at ease while you're away! I'm also happy to share my location for overnight housesitting if that would make you feel more at ease about your pets not being left alone for too long. I can also provide as many daily updates as you need.

About: As a former dog daycare employee in the Queen Anne/Magnolia area, I have plenty of experience with these loving animals, sometimes watching up to a few dozen of them at a time. I have lots of experience in pet sitting/walking friends and family dogs! About: Hi, I'm KJ! My friends and family will tell you I am a certified Dog Mom 4 Life. I have lived in Seattle for 3 years now, and my favorite thing to do is walk my dog, Odie. We wander all around the city and to every park we can find. He is a 2-year-old rescue chiweenie who loves to spend time with other dogs. I've learned a lot about dog behavior and training from the dogs I've rescued. I've had a labradoodle, a Brussels Griffon mix, some shih tzus, a terrier mix, and now my chiweenie. I have experience with dogs of all ages (I have a special place in my heart for lil' senior pups). I've worked with reactive dogs who struggle to walk on a leash, which has taught me a lot of patience and improved my training skills. I know what it is like to need a helping hand, especially with fur babies. I would love to work with a variety of clients. Whether you need a consistent mid-day walker so you don't have to worry about long work days, or someone to check in on your fur baby when unexpected burdens arise, I am your gal! I do prefer working with dogs on the smaller side, for their safety and comfort. Any questions? Feel free to ask! :) I have a fairly open, flexible schedule. I'm more than happy to schedule day-of drop-ins, but I am currently taking public transit to get around, so please keep that in mind. I would love to schedule some consistent clients to provide a good mid-day walk to give your pup a break. Hopefully Odie can join us! Odie and I live in a studio apartment inside a building, so even if he bolts out the door, he can't get very far. I also keep up a baby gate to provide an extra barrier between him and the door. I have cameras to monitor the dogs if I do have to leave for a bit. They typically have free range of the studio area during the day. I keep the bathroom door closed, and I've "baby-proofed" the entire room for my small dogs. I feel comfortable crating or fencing in dogs if necessary.
