“Glad to find someone close by able to give Kitty some affection and took care to follow instructions, left my place secure. Was my 1st time using Rover! would use again”

“As always, Tassia was a great help when we were out of town. Stopping by to entertain our cats and spend time with them, and sending us picture. Made us feel very much at ease being away from the critters. She's always on time and respectful. We'll definitely be requesting her help again in the future. Thank you so much Tassia!!”

“Michelle is wonderful! She is so cummunicative and always responds very quickly, which is fantastic 😊She kindly came to meet and greet my cat, which was so thoughtful. Michelle is especially great to work with long-term. Both my cat and I are very happy to have had her care!”

“Chris did an amazing job with our two cats. The updates and photos were sent consistently and in detail which we appreciated. Was great at checking in and being patient with our youngest cat who takes a couple of days to show himself. Will definitely seek out Chris again if available.”

“Michelle was so patient with our dog Angel who hid under our deck and refused to come out. She stayed longer than she was scheduled to in attempt to get her out and tried so hard to help. Would definitely suggest her for any dogs!”

About: While pet sitting and dog walking over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I've watched young puppies who require lots of love and attention, along with dogs with simple medication needs. Beyond this, I also have experience with animals that have strict food schedules, and even reptiles that require special feeding (live worms). When back home in Alaska, I am the go-to pet sitter for family friends, relatives, and community members, as I have gotten endless positive feedback and referrals to new clients. At the end of the day, your pet's safety and comfort are my #1 priority! As I am a full-time college student, I'm currently available on weekends and Fridays after 11:00 A.M. for walks and drop-ins. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is respecting the home, being detailed in following the client's instructions, and communicating with the client so they feel safe knowing their pet is in good hands.
“Brenda was so understanding and caring to my senior cat Bubba. I appreciated her communication and timeliness. She asked great questions in our meet and greet and even got my shy guy to come out and play with her! Definitely will book again.”

“Jamie is such a kind sitter with excellent communication and was able to check on my kittens super last minute! They absolutely loved Jamie and I’m grateful for the help!”

“Rachael was incredible! Very responsive and easy to work with, and she gave great updates and sent photos every day. Our extremely shy cat warmed up to her quickly, which doesn’t happen often!”

About: Hi! I'm Jessi. Professional dog auntie with excellent scritchers. Gentle and patient, but ready to play the alpha card as needed. Respectful of your training preferences and other boundaries. Can't host, but up for a drop-in or a local adventure. I'm a freelance writer and designer who works from home most of the time, so I'm using Rover to get outside and stock up on floofamine between projects. If we click and you're interested in arranging regular care, I'm happy to factor that into my schedule. I'll treat your home with professionalism and respect. Shoes off, notes read, and focused on making sure your baby gets the best care. And, of course, I'll share photos of our time together.
“Natalia is a wonderful sitter! She was very thorough, communicative, and captured many cute photos of our kitty. Denali was comfortable with her from the start. She helped make us feel comfortable while out of town, and we would absolutely book her again!”

About: I've seized every opportunity to help walk my friends' dogs, and I volunteer at the Seattle animal shelter walking and caring for the dogs there too. I've also taken care of my family dog (in Los Angeles) from middle school to college, bathing, feeding, walking, and playing with him to make him the happiest dog on earth :) I also am certified with Fear Free Shelter's program to recognize emotions and body language in dogs. I can provide a copy of my certificate upon request. I'm currently job searching, spending the mornings being active and heading into a coworking office for a couple hours each day. My schedule is more than flexible to tackle all your needs. I have an apartment with lots of sunlight and like to walk dogs at the university nearby. I am able to crate your dog when needed, and will always treat them with the utmost care and kindness.
About: I have cared for family members’ dogs, friends’ dogs and cats, and have lived with pets throughout my life. I believe in leading with love and enjoying every minute you get to spend with four-legged friends! I am very flexible with scheduling right now, but primarily petsit over weekends (including long weekends) with visits throughout the week. I am always willing to work with you to find the best best schedule for both of us! I approach caring for other people’s pets just as I would approach caring for my own — lead with love and follow a pet parent’s instructions ❤️ ALWAYS respect a pet's boundaries and spaces - you're in their home after all!
Central District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Liberty and Caleb are the best pet sitters you could ask for!! This was my first time using Rover, and they were so communicative and assuring that it made my first out of state trip completely stress-free. I cannot thank them enough for the great job they did taking care of my cat, and next time I’m traveling, I would absolutely book them again!!

Annie took care of my cats for a weekend trip and was great to work with! She was very communicative and flexible and the whole process was smooth. She took care to match the level of interaction that my cats wanted, as they can be a bit shy. I’ll definitely book her again!

Cory does a super job with 2x daily drop in visits with Ash our 14 year old cat. Ash bonded with Cory immediately and happily engages with him during visits. Recently, we had to suddenly travel out of town. Cory was able to care for Ash at the last minute which was very much appreciated. We rate Cory 5+ stars!
