“Tanya was amazing! She responded right away and was great with our dog. She even went above and beyond to stop by and meet us earlier in the day. We would definitely use her again.”

“Kennedy did everything we could have asked for and more when checking in on our pups! She was responsive to our messages/requests and informative in her reports, even letting us know when she saw aberrant behavior that might indicate a sore. Would absolutely rely on her again!”

About: As a lifelong pet owner, caring for animals is one my favorite things to do. I treat every furry guest like a member of my own family. I am entirely comfortable sticking to your pet's unique daily routine, including any special accommodations they might need to feel safe and happy. Best of all, I know the stress on you of being away from your babies! You can expect regular, and steady stream of picture checkins throughout the day. Your peace of mind is my top priority, and I will make sure you never miss a single tail wag while you are away. I am lucky enough to work full time from home, which means I am at my laptop and available for your pet all week long. Your furry friend will enjoy constant companionship, easy potty breaks, and plenty of desk-side cuddles. When providing care in your home, my top priority is maintaining your pet's comfort while fully respecting your space and privacy. Since I work from my laptop, I can easily replicate their normal routine in their own secure environment while leaving your home exactly as clean and tidy as I found it.
“Extremely communicative and has been flexible when needed. My go-to helper when I’m traveling and need a little extra help with the pup while at work events.”

About: Hi! I’m Magdalena, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, reptiles, and other pets, and I attended a Waldorf school on a biodynamic farm where I spent years caring for and learning about all kinds of animals. I started house sitting and pet sitting as a teenager, and since moving to Seattle I’ve continued caring for pets through family friends and referrals. I’ve looked after everything from energetic puppies to senior pets and animals needing extra patience or specialized care, so I’m confident adapting to each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Cats are especially close to my heart, and I have two of my own, and I also do aquascaping myself, which has given me even more appreciation for creating calm, enriching environments for animals. I’ve found that even shy or nervous cats tend to warm up to me with a little patience. I’m active, dependable, and attentive, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind with reliable care and regular updates. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to build it around your pet’s needs. Whether they need early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, medication, playtime, or a consistent routine, I’ll do my best to accommodate what keeps them happiest and most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m committed to providing dependable, personalized care that fits their lifestyle, not just mine. I provide care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. Having worked in housekeeping for several years, I’m naturally clean, organized, and detail-oriented. I’ll always clean up after myself (and your pet!), follow your home’s routines, and leave everything just as I found it. My priority is creating a calm, safe environment where your pet feels secure, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

“Prisha took great care of our pup! She was very thoughtful and gave us very detailed updates. We have a senior dog, and Prisha made sure she left a light on for her and was very patient with her on walks.”

“Marie-Rose was the best Rover cat sitter I’ve ever had! She is very kind and took extremely good care of my cat Dot. She is detail oriented, making sure to ask specific questions about logistics, pet care/cleaning, and how to make your pet the happiest they can be. I received many amazing videos and photos of Dot, which showed her playing, getting treats, and overall attention. Marie-Rose even left Dot a new wand toy and left a hand-written note with a drawing of Dot, which really warmed my heart. Highly recommend you book Marie-Rose in the future!!”

“Bruce was great! He followed all instructions I left and really made an effort to approach my shy bunny in a calm, patient manner. Would absolutely book him again ◡̈”

About: Hi, I’m Jessica! I have grown up with all sorts of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and cows. Currently, I am an Aunt to one energetic golden retriever and 2 cats. Over the past 5 years I have watched dogs and cats in the city for friends and co workers and would love to watch your fur baby too! I have experience with caring for dogs with anxiety and elderly pets. I am a pretty active person who loves hiking and checking out new places in the city. I work full time from home. Usually my work hours are set in CST so I start early and end early afternoon, leaving a very flexible schedule with lots of time and energy to spend with your pets! I am very easy to communicate with and love spending time outside. I am easy to work with whether it’s for a quick check in, walks while you are away or reliable boarding. I live in an apartment but there are fenced in pet areas on the property. I also own a vehicle to take pets to the park, drop off/pick up or sitting at your home. I have worked in hospitality for over 15+ years. I know exceptional care is all about trust, attention to detail, and personalized service. I’ll treat your beloved pets with the same level of care and dedication we provide to guests at our five star properties.
About: When I was a kid, me and my bestie were neighbors. We walked her dog together for years. I have been dog sitting for friends a lot. I have lived with a cat for 3 years, in the beginning it was my roommate’s ragdoll, and now my own Persian cat. I just finished an internship and waiting for the job offer to be available, so I am available all day. While taking care of my friends’s cat, I find myself enjoying this job. I used to be a biologist work in a laboratory, so I am very detail oriented and organized. I will keep your pets safe, as well as your home, always clean after use and lock the facility.
“Brenda is always on time, and stay extra longer if needed. We had a worry free trip because I know my dogs are in good hands. Can't wait to book her again!!!”

“Val was very good with our cat! Our cat has problem of not pooping inside the litter box and vomiting, she helped us clean those up. She also spent time playing with our cat who missed human interaction, cleaned litter box, refilled food and water. I also love that Val sent us a lot of pics of our cat. I would recommend Val to take care of your fur baby!”

About: I grew up taking care of my dog and a bunch of family friend’s dogs. I have dealt with dogs of all sizes and ages. I have spent a lot of time with dogs that are smaller sizes, but I recently have spent more time with larger size dogs. All are welcome and I love spending time with dogs that either want to play or want to just nap on the couch with me. I’ve dealt with senior dogs that need medication or medication for their skin. I have dealt with dogs that need special dietary plans with supplements. I can help wherever you need me! My schedule right now is pretty flexible with Wednesday being the only day I have to go into the office for work. I am open to working Wednesday night if needed, but I won’t be able to get your place until after 6pm. I like to take care of the house like my own if I am staying with your animals. I like to keep the area tidy and plan to clean up any messes made by myself or your pet. I will make sure to listen to any concerns you have with your pet and will watch them while they are outside. My goal is to have clear communication so you are at ease about me pet sitting!
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have experience working with reactive pups in particular. It’s my priority to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I’d love to take your pup for a run, a long walk around the neighborhood, or just hang for some belly rubs if that’s more their speed. I’m currently a graduate student, so I’ve got a flexible schedule and lots of room to care for pets - especially midday when their parents may be at work. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and will always prioritize safety and honor the rules and systems that work for pet care in their homes! In my space, expect dog friendly furniture and a big sweet lab/pit mix to keep your pup company. I have a fenced in yard ready for backyard play and easy access for bio breaks throughout the day.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Seattle
Morgan was prompt, thorough, professional, and kind. It’s hard to leave my cat roommates any time but Morgan relieved as much worry as possible. The cats have different diets and one has medication so things can be a little more complicated but Morgan didn’t make me feel like it. I had zero concerns about reliability or communication thanks to Morgan’s daily app check-ins, detailed notes, and excellent pictures.

Danielle was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of Luffy and was incredibly thoughtful and attentive throughout the entire booking. Luffy can be a little territorial and takes time to warm up to people, but Danielle was very patient and always prioritized his comfort rather than stressing him out. She kept me updated every day, paid close attention to his eating, drinking, and litter box habits, and even went above and beyond to help with the ants that were getting into the house. She was also very considerate about keeping everything clean and putting things back where they belonged. I really appreciated how responsible, communicative, and caring she was. I felt very comfortable knowing Luffy was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Danielle and would happily have her care for Luffy again! ❤️🐱

Had the best experience with Nathan looking after our cats!! He was so attentive to their needs and even went out of his way to pick up a package of their food that we’d forgotten! He sent so many cute photos and videos, and even though our cats are shy with people they loved him. Super reliable with communication and timing of visits as well. We will absolutely be booking him again and would recommend him to anyone!

Hongyu is wonderful! I have an older cat who’s not the easiest to look after - we’re always trying different medications and litter boxes etc to keep him healthy and comfortable. She always goes above and beyond to make sure instructions are followed and Hoover is cared for, and sends lots of photos. She event brought in our grocery delivery that we had forgotten to cancel before a trip! Thank you Hongyu 🌟

Have had the absolute pleasure of having Amber as a cat sitter for years now! She is reliable, caring, and the best with our cats. There is literally no better peace of mind when traveling to know that our cats are in excellent hands and to receive photos of them while we are gone!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
