About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid and love to provide your furry friends with care and attention while you’re away! I’ve have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, chickens, and other farm animals. I have previously worked with pets with medical needs such as daily medication so I am happy to care for pets with special needs. When house sitting, I love to get your pets outside on walks (or runs if they are able to run) at least twice a day. As someone who works from home most days, I will be able to spend a lot of time with your pets, giving them lots of attention and cuddles! I work from home most days and like to break up my work with walks or playing with pets inside and outside of the house. When I go on site, I make sure to take pets out for exercise before I leave and I have flexibility to schedule on site work based on your pets needs, allowing me to check on them during the day if they don’t do well being left alone for long periods. I will want to arrange a meet and greet to ensure your pet has at least met me once before I began caring for them. I typically try to let pets warm up to me in their own time, allowing them to come to me when they are comfortable. Once we’ve established a relationship, I like to spend time playing with them and getting them exercise as much as they are up for and as my day allows.

About: I grew up taking care of my childhood dog Tommy, pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and have been a cat owner for over a year now to my 3 year old cat Benji. I am used to dealing with anxious and energetic pets, as both my beloved pets throughout my life have left the shelter with some attachment issues. I know it can be hard for some pets when their owners are gone so I am prepared to be patient and gentle with your pet. I am always mindful of animal body language and will follow any instructions or advice you have for taking care of your pets. About: I have had and been around dogs since I was about 5 years old and have loved every second of it. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without them. I started taking care of our family pets once I was a teenager and over a year ago I adopted my dog, Bumi, from Seattle Humane. Bumi turned out to be highly reactive and since adopting him I have worked extensively with a trainer and become very familiar with reactive dogs and can handle them well, provided they have some level of training. I have also looked after cats from my friends and acquaintances and have never had a negative experience aside from the occasional ankle swipe or warning bite, as cats are want to do. After working with my reactive dog I have become very sensitive to animals body language and know when to back off. While cats body language is quite different from a dogs I have plenty of experience and know when a cat does not want to be approached. I've loved every single dog and cat I have come across and would love to provide excellent care for your pets. I'm currently an unemployed scientist waiting for the NIH to be funded again so my schedule during the day is wide open. I have some responsibilities in the evening that can last a few hours but can still attend to pets as needed. As I have a reactive dog at home I won't be able to house pets at my home but can come to your house and care for your pets. Your pets safety and well-being are incredibly important to me. This includes stress levels and other emotional issues. While taking care of your pets I will work to ensure their comfort and reduce their stress while you are away.

About: Hey there! Dogs have been part of my life since I was five and I still stop to say hi to every one I see, now that I don’t have my own furry friend here at college! I grew up with chihuahuas, pugs, and shih-tzus, but I’ve cared for various friends’ pets and love spending time outdoors. With a park conveniently close by, your pup will always get great walks and lots of love! I’m currently a college student, and pet care fits perfectly into my routine after classes, which usually finish early most days. I also have weekends free and love spending that time with pets! I am located right by Green Lake Park, which means lots of great walks and open space if your pet loves to play or explore the outdoors. Adria has once again gone above and beyond for our Lemon, Leonard and Jabba! Our dog, Lemon, is in her twilight years and that comes with a lot of extra care and cleaning. Adria steps up to the task with no complaint. She treats our pets like her own! And every visit comes with a full on portrait photoshoot for each pet. Adria makes our time away from our pets so much less stressful and we are so grateful for her!
Jenna went above and beyond to care for my cat, Juniper. She was great with Juniper from the moment she entered our door for the meet and greet. Mandi gave us an OUTSTANDING catsitting experience! It was our first time leaving Ike alone, but even after the very first visit we knew he was in great hands with Mandi. She clearly loves animals and really took her time building a routine with Ike, always giving me a thorough update in the app. Although Ike was happy to see us when we got home, part of me thinks he wishes it was Mandi walking through the door. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!
Morgan is an outstanding caregiver! She really cares about the animals she is checking in on and goes the extra mile to ensure they’re safe, comfortable, and healthy. I don’t like to leave my companions for very long but if I have to, I’m so grateful Morgan is willing to step in and do not only the chore tasks but the enrichment as well. The pictures and updates Morgan sends make all the difference to assure me everyone is healthy and happy.
Our cats were so thankful to have Christina watching them! Aside from the usual food and clean litterboxes, they got extra snuggles and playtime. We had frequent texts / photo updates about the cats while we were away and it was great to see how happy they were. Very thankful for the service, we'll use Christina again. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
