Loving care for your special kitty
I’m a lifelong cat person who loves helping cats feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. I know that leaving a cat can be especially stressful when you’re worried about their health, behavior, or whether they’ll be okay without you. I focus on keeping things calm and familiar, following their normal routine, and keeping you updated while you’re away. I have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities, including senior cats and cats who need medications, extra patience, or special care. I’m just as happy to care for easygoing, low-maintenance kitties who mostly want their food, a clean litter box, and some attention. I care exclusively for indoor cats and can provide medication when needed. I’m based in the Green Lake/Phinney Ridge area and focus my visits nearby so I can be dependable and give each cat plenty of attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Respect for your pet and home is top priority. Since each kitty is unique I follow each pet parent’s instructions and normal routines carefully. I communicate updates frequently as I would want a sitter to do for me. I’m especially attentive to pets who need extra play, patience, or care.

Christy recently cared for our cat, Shelly, in our home over a weekend. Our cat has special needs. She requires multiple daily medications and monitoring. Christy came to our home prior to our travels and was warm, detail oriented, and clearly invested in taking very good care of our cat. While we were away, Christy let us know that Shelly hissed and retreated when she attempted to administer a med. We spoke to Christy over the phone, created a plan, and Christy thought outside the box: she balanced being respectful of Shelly's desire for space and also utilized play and Shelly's favorite toy to successfully administer the medicine in a timely manner. As the weekend went on, Christy worked to build trust with Shelly and eventually Shelly was spending time on her lap. She even managed to do a nail trim while we were away! We were extremely moved and satisfied by the level of care Christy was able to provide for Shelly. We received photo updates of Shelly throughout the weekend. When we came home our space was just as we had left it and Shelly was content and happy. We will definitely we contacting Christy to care for Shelly in the future.
Christy has been a fantastic sitter! It's clear that she truly loves cats and looks after them as if they were her own. She was prompt, communicative, and provided frequent updates to ease our anxiety while we were away. Would absolutely hire her again!
Christy has been cat sitting for us for at least two years and is the best cat sitter we've ever had! We have two cats with very different personalities and she knows their idiosyncracies, how they like to play, and reads their kitty cues. We're always so grateful to have Christy visiting our kitties when we go out of town. She visits them twice a day and takes care of all their needs. She's truly made a connection with them and they are always happy kitties when we return.
My very fearful and shy Siamese Shuggy took to Christy in minutes. She is so calm and caring; animals know who they can trust. She was reliable, followed all my instructions, and kept me well informed. I know she enjoyed bonding with Shuggy, not like a quick "add food and go" visit, which meant so much to me. It is hard to leave my kitty solo, knowing that someone who truly cares for creatures from the heart makes me more comfortable. Strong recommend from me AND Shuggy!
Christina absolutely, genuinely LOVES cats— when she’s watched my Ruthie, I KNOW the my best friend in the BEST hands. Christina is super reliable, trustworthy, and detail oriented… and you know sometimes you get pet snaps from a sitter who is checking the box? Nope— I can tell that she is happy to hang out with Ruthie and make sure I know that she’s thriving.

Schedule
I’m based in the Green Lake/Phinney Ridge area and keep my pet-care visits close to home. But please let me know if you need something out of my service area and we'll see if we can make it work! I'm typically available in the mornings and evenings for drop ins and more flexible for house sitting.
