Kathleen was absolutely fantastic with Biscuit, super attentive to his needs and played with him so much!!! She sent tons of pictures and updates! A package was even delivered to my door that wasn't mine and she took the initiative to find the correct owner and get it to her--so above and beyond! I'd recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a sitter with attention to detail, great communication, and a great connection with animals! Thank you Kathleen!!!

Wow!! Bre-Anna was so wonderful with our dogs!! We have one that just had a surgery and had some specific instructions with him being in a cone and unable to walk easily, and another that was a 4 month old puppy not understanding why they couldn’t play. Not only was Bre-Anna professional and understanding, she knew exactly how to ensure both dogs felt loved and special while still keeping them safe!! We were hesitant to have a sitter with the chaos of puppy life and she couldn’t have been sweeter about it! We will absolutely have her come back to watch the dogs and hope it gets easier from here!! Thank you Bre-Anna!!!

About: I've always loved spending time with animals and have experience caring for both cats and dogs. I regularly cat sit for friends while they're on vacation, making sure their cats are well cared for, comfortable, and able to stick to their usual routines. I also lived with a corgi for two years, which gave me experience with daily walks, playtime, feeding, and all the little things that come with caring for a dog. I'm dependable, attentive, and always willing to learn. I'll take the time to understand your pet's routine and personality so they receive the care and attention they're used to while you're away. I work four days a week and typically spend about eight hours in the office on those days. However, I have the flexibility to work from home when needed, which allows me to spend more time with your pets during house sits and longer bookings. My days off also give me additional availability for drop-in visits and dog walks. I look forward to learning about your pet's schedule and needs, and I will always be upfront about my availability so you know exactly what to expect. I understand that every pet has their own routines, preferences, and comfort level, so I always take the time to follow your care instructions closely. Whether I'm house sitting, stopping by for a drop-in visit, or taking your dog for a walk, my goal is to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible and help them feel safe and comfortable. I'll treat both your pets and your home with respect, provide regular photo and message updates, and communicate promptly if I have any questions or concerns. Building trust with both pets and their owners is important to me, and I want you to feel confident that your pet is in caring, reliable hands.

About: I’ve pet sat for my friends on multiple occasions and even had a dog of my own (technically my boyfriend’s) for 2 years - before he took a job and moved to Hawaii. Now, I’m without my sweet, living, gentle Penny & I have so much love & care to give to other furry pets! I work 4 ten hour days Mon through Thu, so I will have my weekends open to check on, stay with or walk your beloved furry. I talk to my furry friends and I approach them in a calm and safe, not anxious, manner. I would say I’m pretty in-tune to a pets needs & dogs & cats seem to love me! But I check to make sure they’re fed, they drank water, they’re walked, sometimes they may need stimulation - so some engaging play. I can be firm if need be.

About: I have many years experience with many kind of animals, as well as taking care of senior cats and dogs with health issues and medication needs. I'm have also worked with and owned rescue pets who need careful awarenes to understand triggers. I hold a Pet CPR and First Aid certification through American Redcross, and have volunteered at a human society for several years. I will get to know your pets special personalities, and know how important it is to maintain their regular routines! I work full time, but live and work in the neighborhood. My range is set close so that I can take a break and come check in on, walk, feed and play with your pets! I'm flexible with times throughout the day, very reliable and I enjoy getting to know neighbors and their pets. I love getting to spend more time with animals as I am currently petless for the first time in years! I follow instructions well and make sure to follow all directions to provide your pet with the routine they rely on. I know how important it is to maintain that routine while your pet is stressed with your absence, but still it fun! I have watched others animals for years, and have consistently been told that folks wouldn't trust anyone else! I also have had and taken care of multiple rescue animals with triggers and can learn how to recognize and adapt to make them feel safe.

About: Based in Seattle, I’m a creative professional who runs my design studio and online pet shop from home. Because I work from my living room, your dog becomes my full-time "office assistant," receiving constant attention, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, boutique environment. I offer high-touch, reliable care for those who want their pets to feel right at home while they’re away. Hi! Jess here — a visual designer, amateur pet photographer, and the artist behind an Etsy shop, that offers dog stickers and custom pet portraits. So yes, your pet’s stay with me will come with vacation-level care and a mini photoshoot! My friends call me the "dog whisperer" — I’m patient, observant, and deeply attuned to each pup’s needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own, always watching for signs of stress or discomfort and keeping you in the loop. I live with my Yorkiepoo, Mochi, who’s my daily adventure buddy. From sniff walks and puzzle play (even though he hates it and cheats all the time) to lazy cuddle time, I make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and at home. Your pup’s safety is my top priority — always on-leash outdoors (no matter how good their recall is), using a non-retractable leash for control in sudden situations. No risks, no shortcuts. Ever. At home, I’ve got multiple cozy donut beds, clean bowls, squeaky and non-squeaky toys (all Mochi’s—he's got a crazy dog mom). I always do a quick hygiene wipe after coming back from the outside and wash with dog shampoo if #2 is involved — vet-recommended and part of our daily routine. My one-bedroom condo is in a dog-friendly neighborhood with walkable parks nearby. It’s clean, calm, and made for cuddly guests.

I’m happy to offer care on most weekends and some weekday evenings, and I always keep my calendar up-to-date so you’ll know exactly when I’m available. Kailee was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! Her communication was amazing—she consistently sent updates and photos that always put my mind at ease. You could tell just from the pictures how happy and relaxed my cats were with her. My male cat can be quite shy around new people, but Kailee was so patient and gentle that she completely cracked through his shell, making him feel safe and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again. Highly recommend!

We'd worked multiple times with Clive, because we* (*including our cats) love him so much. He once again went above and beyond every day, although we had to book on a rather short notice this time. Some of the time coincided with a heatwave too, but he never missed a beat. He always gives our cats quality play time with plenty of pets. One of our cats is a little shy and he never comes out when there is a visitor, but Clive is a cat whisperer, so he comes out and rubs all over Clive (even shows his belly!). We trust Clive with all our heart, and highly recommend him if you ever need someone trustworthy, kind, and fun to look after your fur babies while you are gone.

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Meridian on Rover is $26.75 per visit (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 6,765 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Meridian. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Meridian. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
