Peng is friendly and professional. I'm so happy to have found her on Rover. Peng thanks for helping us feel so comfortable while we were away. Our dogs were well cared for”

About: I'm super passionate about animals and pet care, and I am grateful for every opportunity to hang out with them. I love to spend time getting to know pets, and I am great at adapting to their quirks and needs! As a recent graduate, I'm looking to expand my pet care experience and help people. I'm available all week, and devote most of my time to animals - with my experience including hundreds of hours of pet sitting and dog walking, my role as a wildlife care assistant at PAWS, and experience as a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic! When caring for pets at my house or a client's, I never leave for long periods, and I'm great at staying on top of medication requirements. I am also able to provide pick-up and drop-off services to make things easier for owners.
“Cortney was fantastic! She did an amazing job checking in on my kitties while I was away, even managing to break them of their shyness and made them comfortable. She is definitely the cat whisperer and you can 100% count on her to take care of your pets. She kept us well informed and took the cutest pictures. Will definitely contact her again, and recommend to friends in the area.”

“I am glad she finally let you pet her! A little goodbye nudge. Thank you so much! You have kept me worry -free about my sweet babies! I appreciate you so much and I know they do. I will happily use you again in the future!”
“Hannah and David have watched our dogs many times. They are great at communicating and are very reliable. My dogs can be high maintenance and one of my dogs is very scared with new people. Hannah is great with both dogs which is very reassuring. Hannah and David are the people I trust the most to look after our dogs.”

“Amanda took awesome care of our 14 year old cat while we were out of town. She was very responsive and sent great updates and cute pictures after each visit. Thanks so much Amanda!!”

“Kayla was fantastic! Our kitty hates when we leave and she communicated so well about how he was doing and sent pictures so we could see him :) He isn’t the friendliest yet she was so comfortable with him. Would highly recommend!”

“Saint was great with Zoey when we needed a few drop-in visits while I had a busy work week and my partner was out of town. The pictures and frequent updates made us feel like we were there with them, and we know Zoey appreciated making a new friend to play fetch with. Saint communicated well with us throughout the entire process and made our first Rover experience a success. Will not hesitate to have him help take care of Zoey again.”

“Lu took wonderful care of my two cats! 🐱🐱 She brushed them, cleaned the litter box thoroughly, and even updated me right away when one of them had soft stool. I really appreciated her attention to detail and how thoughtful she was. She also sent lots of adorable photos, and it was clear that my cats really liked her. Highly recommend!”

“Caroline took great care of my cat, Luna, and my home while I was away. She communicated well and Luna warmed up to her quicker than she does with most other sitters. Would definitely book again!”

“I had a last-minute booking request and she was able to accommodate. My cat can be a little temperamental and she was great with him! She ended up living so close to me, I plan on using her from now on :)”

“I have booked Shandel 3 times now and she has been wonderful. My two cats seem to always come out to greet her and my difficult kitty Theo has no issues coming right up to her for pets, play and to be held. Great signs that she is taking good care of them as I'm gone.”

“Stephanie is truly amazing!! She took care of our 5 month old kitty like her own. She even stayed past booking time to ensure he felt cared for. I’m so grateful for Stephanie and she really gave us a peace of mind while we were away. My kitten loves her and I’ll only be reaching out to her to take care of Theo because I don’t think anyone else can top her love and care for my cat!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kenmore
Caroline was great with my cat Zelda. She was very easy to communicate with, and after meeting at my home once, she quickly learned Zelda’s routine and everything she needed to know. Zelda is a pretty shy cat, and Caroline was very patient with her. She gave Zelda plenty of space and never tried to force interaction. After a few days, Zelda finally started opening up to her, which was really nice to see. She took great care of Zelda’s food, water, and litter box, and even helped vacuum around the house. She also sent me lots of photos every day and kept me updated on how Zelda was doing. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was. Caroline is super nice, patient, and caring, and I felt very comfortable having her take care of Zelda. I would definitely ask her to help again in the future.

Peng has been just amazing! This was our second time with her looking after our shy babies. They couldn’t wait for her to visit them and play and pose. One of the very shy ones even allowed Peng to pet her, which is usually hard. Peng is very prompt in her interactions, shares meaningful daily updates with photos and very punctual. She also kept an eye out for any accidents and ensures they were taken care off. Cannot thanks enough to Peng to keep us assured of our babies well being! Highly recommended!
We were so impressed with Kate! From the very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly attentive and even took notes about our cats’ routines, needs, and little details, which immediately made me feel more comfortable. If you’re someone who gets anxious about leaving your fur babies, she is such a great choice. She was thoughtful, thorough, and gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while we were away. We will absolutely be using her again and would highly recommend her!

Laurel has gone out of her way to try different methods to help medicate my cat because he really doesn’t trust strangers with medicines. Examples like pumpkin puree, got him back scratcher etc.. She’s very responsible and has done a great job to take care of my cat for a week. My cat looks happy when I got back and his fur seems smoother than usual

Giselle was wonderful with Bruno! He trusted her immediately. She was very attentive, caring, and made sure he was well taken care of while I was away. She kept me updated and gave me peace of mind knowing Bruno was in good hands. I really appreciated the care and attention she gave him, and I would definitely recommend Giselle to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter. I’d happily book with her again! 😊🐾

Kimberly took wonderfully care of our elderly cat while we were away. I loved her daily updates , photos and report cards. They gave me peace of mind and it was clear she genuinely cared about our girl. I look forward to booking our next trip knowing our furball is in such great hands. Definitely 5 stars!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kenmore. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
