Highly-rated overnight sitters - Kenmore

“I would 100% recommend Michelle and Brian. I am a person who never wants to leave my dog with anyone, and if I have to, I worry the entire the time. Newton stayed with Michelle and Brian for over two weeks and they took such great care of him. He became best friends with their adorable dog Ari and played with other little dogs they watch (Theo!) Michelle & Brian were amazing with communication, sending me photos and updates every day. It is clear that they love dogs and, from now on, I will always have them watch Newton. :)”

“Finding sitters who truly care about your dog is tough, but Kelly and Karen exceeded all expectations. Tony is usually a bit anxious, but Kelly makes him feel better. Their communication was excellent, and gave me update(pic/vidoes)about Tony during i was on my vacation. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy…”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such an important time in our lives! Qiaohui took amazing care of our dog while we were busy with our wedding. From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in safe, loving hands. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which meant the world to us during such a hectic weekend. Our pup came home happy, well-exercised, and clearly very loved. It gave us so much peace of mind to know he was being treated like family. We’re so grateful to Qiaohui for going above and beyond—her kindness, flexibility, and genuine love for animals really shone through. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for dependable, compassionate pet care!”

“This was our first time leaving our 6-month-old Miniature Schnauzer, Shiro, for a vacation, and Jenny gave us absolute peace of mind from start to finish. Her communication is phenomenal. Throughout the weekend, she sent us tons of pictures and videos, along with incredibly thoughtful, detailed updates on his day. It was so reassuring to hear how calmly he settled into her home. Jenny strictly followed all of his specific feeding routines and kept him engaged with training, play, and lovely walks. What truly sets Jenny apart is how she goes above and beyond. It was an absolute pleasure having her care for him, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Diesel had a wonderful time with Karina and her lovely doggo. It was nice to know that he had a friend and family around him to keep him company. Karina sent regular photos and videos. Karina is great and we’ll definitely use her again. 🐶 🤗”

“Hong and Yuchen took amazing care of our puppy Oliver! They treated him the same as their own pets with tons of attention and affection! He loved his time there and I was so happy to have him so well taken care of. They sent a bunch of pictures and videos of him, provided updates, and worked with me to make sure he was happy! Thanks Hong and Yuchen!”

“We have never used Rover before and had a wonderful first experience with Stacey and Taylor. They were very responsive and accommodating. Their yard was the perfect run around spot for our VERY active 2-year-old mini aussie. It was also helpful that other small dogs were there to keep him entertained and busy. We plan to reach out to Stacey and Taylor in the future for all of our dog sitting needs.”

“Sunny had the best time with Tenzin and his family. We got so many updates and it looks like he went on lots of walks and got lots of walks. Would highly recommend!”

“Mike looked after our little dog Loki on short notice, so that we could make it to a family memorial across the country. Loki can be out of sorts in a strange environment (he’s pretty set in his familiar routine), but he did really well in Mike’s care! We’re glad we were able to find such a safe and comfortable environment for Loki while we were away.”

“Lorena took great care of my Havapoo! She gave me daily updates as well as pictures and videos. I could tell that my dog was completely at ease and happy spending time there. We already have another stay with Lorena booked!”

“My dog enjoyed staying with Masumi and Apple 5 nights. This was the first time away from my dog and Masumi was so helpful, giving me updates and listening any specific needs. I would highly recommend Masumi and use their services again! ?”

“Kaitlin was great! She took great care of our pup, was responsive, easy to work with and professional. She even agreed to take our pup after she had a minor leg injury and needed a bit of TLC. Our pup stared out of the back of the car and watched her walk away at the end of the stay - so I think she liked Kaitlyn, too!”

“Super grateful to Qintian for giving my dog such a wonderful time! Got frequent updates of him having a blast and she made sure that all his special needs were being met!”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“Namhee is an amazing sitter! We received so many photos and videos with detailed updates throughout the stay. She took such great care of Bruce and treated him like he was part of the family which is all I could ever ask for!”

“Great family! Super friendly and very accommodating to our schedule. Max was well taken care of during our two week vacation. Spent a good amount of time with us during the initial meet & greet to make sure Max would be OK with their dog. We had another house/pet sitter lined up for our vacation, but their schedule changed and they could only sit for a few days. Noah & Tess worked with our schedule and our sitter was able to drop off Max at their house while we were away. Highly recommended.”

“Sarah was great with Betty, our crazy Rottweiler! She can be a handful because she loves to find ways to escape and go for her own personal walks, but Sarah made sure she stayed safe. She got plenty of time to play in the yard with other dogs and came home tired and well taken care of. We will be using Sarah in the future when we need to go out of town to make sure Betty is well taken care of!”

“Our pup had a great stay! He was treated as part of the family for his stay and we received regular updates and fun photos. We would not hesitate to rebook and highly recommend!”

“Laurel was great with my cats, Dandan and Wang Wang. She provided detailed updates, made sure they had fresh food and water, kept everything clean, and gave them plenty of attention. Her thoughtful notes gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would happily book with Laurel again!”

“Kathryn is absolutely wonderful! My kitty can be difficult and didn’t want to take his pill. Kathryn went out of her way to try different methods to successfully administer his meds. She is very attentive and knowledgeable about cats, communicated well, and wrote really nice reports with lots of great pictures. Would definitely recommend!”

“I cannot recommend Lu enough! This was my first time leaving my cat, Milly, for an extended trip, and I was naturally nervous. Lu sent daily updates and the cutest photos, which totally put my mind at ease. It was clear they didn’t just feed the cat but actually spent quality time playing and bonding. I came home to a very happy, relaxed kitty. I will definitely be booking again!”

“1st time using Rover. 1 year Main Coon and 12 year old Norwegian Forest Cat. Last minute 10 day trip due to illness and passing of family member. Shandel did daily care, attention, and play. Our cats require a lot of human interaction and Shandel made a big difference for them. She did an excellent job handling daily needs caring for them. Husband is a very private person and felt comfortable having her in our home.”

“Kayla was great! I greatly appreciated how communicative she was as well as her detailed updates after each visit. It was clear our Leo boy enjoyed hanging out with her! Thanks, Kayla!”

“Elaina was amazing with our trio of kitties! Each one has different needs and she spent time getting to know each one. She went above and beyond what we expected and all of our kitties were happy when we got home! Highly recommend and so glad we found her! Her passion for animals really shines!”

“Jeanne did a fantastic job! She was professional, reliable, and she communicated well before and during my trip. I could relax while away knowing my two shy cats were in good hands. Highly recommended!”

“Caroline was great with our senior kitty! She communicated well and provided detailed updates and photos. I was very comfortable the whole visit that our girl was being well cared for and that she was happy! I would use Caroline again and would definitely recommend her services to a friend! Thank you Caroline!”

“Kimberly is great! She’s easy to work with and very capable. While there were no issues here, I feel like she could handle anything. I appreciate her timely and good communication style. Thumbs up!”

About: I have been a cat owner since I was a child. I love cats, and have been a sitter many times for friends. I have some experience with oral cat medication. I also have a number of fun toys I can bring.
“Michael took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away for an extended vacation. He took time with them and sent us regular updates, which was very much appreciated. When our plans changed while we were on the road, Michael graciously extended his time with us. What a relief to know our pets were in such capable hands. Highly recommended.”

“Kory was so great watching our cats. Good communication and updates, very consistent, everything we want for drop in visits. But Kory went above and beyond and took care of other things, like watering our plants. I don't expect that with just drop ins but it was very thoughtful and appreciated. You can tell Kory really cares for the animals but I also was impressed with the effort to take care of the whole house.”

“Jenica went above and beyond to communicate with us and to make sure our cat was safe when he started acting up during our long absence. Jenica showed patience and understanding for his unexpected behavior. This all really put us at ease. And our cat is clearly very trusting and fond of Jenica, which speaks volumes because he doesn't do that freely - people really need to earn that from him.”

“Gina did a terrific job with my cat while I was away. She was thoughtful and responsive, and was able to continue caring for my kitty when I had to extend my time away. Gina also did some extra cleanup on the final day of the booking, to help ensure a comfortable reunion for my cat and I when I got home.”

“Sara is amazing with my "most evil of all evil kittens" queen of the house. I don't know how she does it, but the cat who hates everyone and everything has made friends with Sara and goes so far as to let Sara touch her. This means a lot. Sara is great to work with, trustworthy, and a genuinely nice person wherein you can tell that she enjoys the time she spends with your pets. Travelling for work is far less stressful knowing I can rely on her to drop in and check on the house and needs of the Queen. Highly recommend.”

“Ivana was wonderful! She followed all our instructions carefully and genuinely cared for our cats, playing with them, petting them, and keeping them warm and comfortable while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Myranda was lovely! I just got off of two weeks of work travel and the peace of mind she gave me was priceless. She was super communicative, punctual, and genuinely interested in bonding with my cats. I’d absolutely work with her again.”

“We were visiting our son in Seattle, and needed a safe place for our pup to go while we did some non dog-friendly activities. This was a last minute booking, but Tunyi graciously agreed for us to have a meet and greet and determine compatibility. Our dog was a bit nervous, and showed a little aggression when she first met Tunyi’s dog and the other Rover guest. After a few minutes everyone calmed down, and we were assured that our dog would do fine with them. We received photos and videos throughout the day showing that our dog was doing quite well. We enjoyed a wonderful day, and believe she did as well. We would not hesitate to use Tunyi again, and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Ammu(puppy, mixed - 6.5 months) had a wonderful time at Jessica's place. Jessica was very considerate about the fact that this was Ammu's first time in any day care outside the house, and took a lot of care to make her feel comfortable. Jessica's dogs were super gentle and welcoming right from the start, immediately putting ammu (and us!) at ease:) it was great to receive pictures during the day of ammu exploring the fun backyard space. About: I have nearly 7 years of hands-on pet care experience as a cat owner and almost 2 years as a dog owner. In addition to caring for my own pets daily, I’ve also occasionally helped care for friends’ pets, including feeding, playtime, and general supervision. While I may not have professional pet-sitting experience yet, I bring something just as important: daily, real-life experience as a responsible and loving pet parent. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I’m comfortable with: • Dogs and cats • Daily feeding routines • Playtime and enrichment • Basic leash walking • Monitoring pets’ behavior and comfort • Providing companionship and affection Because I’m home most of the day, pets are never left alone for long periods and can enjoy frequent check-ins, potty breaks, and attention. I work remotely full-time, so I’m home throughout the day and available to provide consistent attention, supervision, and care. I’m available for pet care Monday through Sunday, including weekdays and weekends. Since I have a dog and a cat at home, I already: • Feed my dog and cat daily • Schedule regular playtime and interaction • Take breaks throughout the day to check on pets • Adjust my schedule around pets’ needs Your pet would be part of my normal day — not an afterthought. I’m able to adapt to different routines, whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and independent. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and welcoming: • Two-story house with plenty of space • Fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks • Multiple dog crates available, which can be used upon request for crate-trained dogs or for added comfort • Clean, comfortable areas for resting • Close supervision and gentle care I follow your instructions carefully when it comes to feeding schedules, routines, and preferences. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible, just like they would at home.
“Super grateful Gargi was able to watch my pup last minute when I went into work this week. I appreciate all the updates in realtime she provided as well. Gargi’s dog, June, and mine became instant pals! By the end of the day I can tell she had fun playing and got some exercise in. Thank you Gargi and June!”

“My pet Teddy had a great time with Spot. Eunice and Jeffrey shared so many good photos and videos of them playing together. Will definitely take their help to board Teddy again.”

“My girls really enjoy their walks with Matthew and seem happy when I get home from work every day. They trust him and when they are happy with someone, I’m happy! My little girl has reduced kidney function and can’t always hold her bladder as long. But Matthew is consistent every day and I’ve noticed fewer late afternoon/evening (before I get home) accidents. She’s doing really well.”

“Kayla has been such a gift. She is reliable, communicative, and incredibly flexible, which makes everything feel easier on my end. Milly truly lights up when she arrives, and it means so much to know she’s getting time on the trails, something she loves, instead of just a quick walk on the street. There’s a genuine care in the way Kayla shows up, and I feel deeply at ease knowing Milly is with her. I would highly recommend Kayla!”

About: What sets my apart is I’m a dog mama myself so I will take all the pictures and send all the updates! Which is something I love when sitters do for me! Pet care fits into my weekly routine because I work evenings so mornings and afternoons are prime time for a good dog walk. Also open to group walks and playtime with my dog and yours. I am attention to detail on the owners preferences with written instructions or recommendations, as well as I love to add my dose of lovins hehe
About: I’m passionate about spending quality time with pets, ensuring they feel loved and secure. I have hands-on experience training puppies in basic commands like sit, down, wait, high fives, and shaking hands. My patient and consistent approach helps build a strong bond and well-behaved pets. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I spend most of my waking hours with my own pets and plan to do the same with others. I make time every day to ensure they receive the attention, play, and care they need. In my home, I create a safe and comfortable environment, with plenty of space for play and rest. I follow feeding schedules, offer regular walks, and keep a close eye on each pet's well-being.
“Anja is great with my rowdy 9 year old lab! Will totally book again. Super communicative about what my dog tried to eat (my dog has pica) and it’s really appreciated. Great communication and super nice!”

About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! I really love dogs and cats and it would be a really amazing and fun opportunity for me to help take care of your cats and pups! :)
About: I have helped take care of family dogs for years! I have also petsat for family friends, including service animals. I love working with older dogs but enjoy working with all ages! For stop by visits, Tuesday and Thursday I can stop by 3:00pm-5pm. I can stop by multiple times any time of day Saturday-Monday. I can house sit with pets as well. I am currently in school to be a vet assistant and work at a vet clinic. I am trained for human and pet CPR. I can administer injectable, oral and topical medications. I have two cats of my own. I do not have my own puppers yet, but I like going on walks and would love the company of a dog. As I work at a vet clinic, I have learned how important stimuli is for all pets. Whether that is walks, playing fetch, or lots of toys. I also know the basic warning signs for an emergent situation. I am all about communication. If something is going on be it some diarrhea or something more urgent, I will keep you in the loop.

About: I soon will be off for summer break. I am available to help care for your animals while you are away. Feel free to reach out to me to schedule a meet and greet. I’ve had pets nearly my entire life. I have my own cat and dog that are both seniors. In my free time I volunteer with a local pet rescue. I am open for adventures with your animals. My schedule is open for AM and PM drop-ins, walks, etc. I will treat your animals with care and compassion. And do as you wish. I am very attentive of my surroundings and pets needs. I am available to let them out in fenced back yards, walking, clean up after them, etc. Feed, water, and play depending on each pets needs. *I am allergic to cigarette smoke. For overnight care I will need a smoke free environment.
About: I’ve cared for pets since I was a teenager, and I’ve worked with almost every type of animal. I have experience with many dog breeds — Rottweiler, Labrador, German Shepherd, Husky, Pomeranian and others. I’ve also taken care of cats of all kinds, including long–hair, short–hair and hairless breeds. I previously had small pets of my own (rabbits, hamsters, decorative rats), and I feel very confident handling them. I also worked in an exotic animal center, where I cared for reptiles and mammals such as pythons, lemurs, raccoons and small monkeys. I’m patient, calm, and attentive to each animal’s needs. I have my own adopted kitten now 🐱. Your pet will be treated with love, respect and gentle care — just like my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I have plenty of time for drop-ins, walks and daily check-ins, and I always make sure your pet gets my full attention during each visit. I’m reliable, punctual, and able to adjust to different routines and feeding schedules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow your instructions carefully to keep everything safe and consistent with your pet’s routine. I’m calm, attentive, and very respectful of each animal’s comfort level. I make sure doors are secured, food and water are given as directed, and I keep the space clean before I leave. At home, I take excellent care of my own cat — she has plenty of toys, enrichment activities, high-quality balanced food and a clean, safe environment. I always pay attention to her health and needs, and I bring the same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after.

About: I have experience caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I understand that every dog is different and adjust to what they need. I treat every dog like they are my own and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I am available for house sitting during the week and on weekends. Weekends work best for me. I also offer drop in visits and walks. I am a student, so I may be gone for a few hours during weekdays for classes, but I plan my schedule around the dogs I am caring for. I make sure they are let out, fed on time, exercised, and given consistent attention every day. I prioritize being back as soon as possible so they are not alone longer than necessary.
“Kendra is truly amazing! Our boys absolutely adore her and are so happy when she’s around. We feel incredibly lucky to have her giving them that extra love, attention, and playtime. She’s been such a wonderful addition to their routine!”

“As this was our first time boarding our pup, we were so nervous and I, admittedly, even shed a few tears upon dropping him off. As soon as I began receiving photos and updates (just a couple hours after dropping him off!) from Julie I knew he was in wonderful care and was going to be just fine. I was immediately at peace. He definitely had a blast with the other dogs and the family. I am so grateful that he had as fabulous of a vacation as our family did. I’m so grateful to know that I can entrust him in Julie’s care again in the future. 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Casper loved his time at Alicia’s, and with her very sweet dog. She was very attentive and caring. We received lots of updates. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: As a pet owner I know the pain of trying to find someone who will care for your beloved pet the way you would while away. I know how hard it can be to find care for pets with regular exercise needs. I am not a professional kennel or dog training. I am a dog mom who will love your pets like they are my own and ensure they have all their needs taken care of while they are in my home. I’ve been around pets for most of my life. My family had pets growing up, and as an adult I’ve pet sit for family and friends for over 20 years. I finally became a pet parent myself in 2022 to a mixed breed cattle dog named Teddy Bear. It was love at first sight, despite our rough start due to issues from him being labeled as a lab mix. I’ve learned from experience that breed matters when it comes to ensuring your dog’s physical as well as emotional needs are properly met. We delt with behavior issues, as well as anxiety, and food issues as Teddy moved through his “teens”. I hired a private trainer only weeks after adopting Teddy, and to this day we still participate in a variety of group training classes through most of the year. Teddy is excellent at Nose work/Scent work and loves the mental stimulation. These training lessons have taught me a lot about patience when working with dogs as well as how to work with dogs on their own level and through their style of communication. Teddy passed the Canine Good Citizen Test at only 9 months old! My motto is you are always training. I use the skills learned in the years of lessons whenever I am around dogs and it’s made me quite popular at the dog parks. My dog goes to hunt bunnies, and I go to pet all the dogs that seem naturally to be drawn to me. I only accept the dogs from 1 home at a time. Your pets will be a part of my family as long as they are under my roof. My life revolves around my dog. Teddy is a fairly high energy dog and this means lots of physical and mental stimulation is required. So we walk everyday rain, shine, or even snow! Unless the weather isn’t safe to be outside, we walk. If your dog isn’t as high energy, that is ok. We typically go places your dog can rest and enjoy the smells while Teddy gets his energy out. I have a hybrid work schedule and generally am in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-5pm. My schedule is flexible though so if I know I have to be gone in the evening, I change up my days in the office so I can be home with my dog during the day. I feed the dogs 2x per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I have a large fully fenced backyard, and a dog door so the pups can freely roam between inside and out. It’s a bit of a dogs paradise with lots of birds and squirrels roaming about for them to keep tabs on. I do have a medium-large sized crate for dogs that need to be crated. And feed everyone in separate spaces. The couch under my living room window is now permanently the “dogs couch”. Teddy is very good at sharing his toys and beds. There is an overabundance of dog beds throughout my house. My house used to be clean, but then I got a dog. The house now belongs to Teddy and I just live here among his beds and toys. Teddy is great with dogs of all sizes and most temperaments. I describe him as aloof but friendly. He can be playful in spirts if other dogs initiate, and while he loves being around other dogs, is very independent. The only exceptions to his easy-going persona are aggressive dogs, or dogs that have a higher than usual tendency to resource guard. For this reason I cannot except non neutered males as pretty much every instance of aggression we have come across was with a non neutered male. Regardless of size. My neighbors on 2 sides do have dogs as well. So your dogs would meet them through the fence. We have 4 legged friends over on a regular basis, and the neighbor dogs generally love greeting the new friends so long as they are not aggressive. I do allow dogs on my bed as long as I'm not sleeping. My experience has been dogs tend to lay exactly where my legs need to be. So, I usually kick them off just before turning off the lights to allow myself use of my own bed. But if your dog is happy to stay on the other side of the bed without trying to take over my side, they can stay.
