About: Hi! We are Erick and Laura and both grew up in households filled with dogs. We are both fully employed in the tech world, both privileged enough to work from home every day all day which enables us to spend hours on end with our dog as well, and take regular 1-2 hour walks throughout the day. We walk 5 miles minimum a day with our very active australian shepherd, and we actually run a photography and travel business on the side so we are always out doing something fun/cool/active, especially for those dogs looking to integrate into adventurous days while their humans are traveling! We've pet sat many different types of dogs over the years and are capable, motivated and excited to watch your dog! We work from home every day and have very flexible schedules, so we can accommodate pretty much any schedule that your dog needs. We are already frequently at the dog park with our dog as well! We can accommodate any need. If your dog prefers a crate, needs medicines, needs additional support, we can certainly work with you to make sure your dog is happy as possible while you are away. We are also very regular picture takers so will send many happy updates. You may even get professional photos of your dog given Erick's propensity for beautiful photos! :)
âFirst time with Noah and Tess. Iâm so glad to have found them. Perky was very happy when first entering their home. I appreciate the pics and the friendly Welcome. Iâll be asking again in the future.â

âPengfei, Sijie, and Bonus did a great job watching Teddy, our 12 month big Doberman puppy! It was wonderful to receive pictures and videos throughout the day to see how happy he was and how well he was getting along with Bonus. They made sure he got plenty of exercise, attention, and snuggles. Would absolutely have him stay with them again!â

âBrynn and her husband are great with June! Super communicative with picture updates and she was super excited to go a second time. June comes home happy but exhausted, ready for a long nap so you know she had a great time!â

âLorena took excellent care of my dog. He came home after both days of daycare content, happy and a little tired. I felt really at ease with Lorena, and her communication is excellent. My dog definitely loved being with her which really made me very happy!â

âVirginie is wonderful. She provides excellent care to Sienna. She is very responsible and kind. I trust her completely. Sienna and Tiptoe are great friends and are always very excited to see each other.â

âThanks for giving me a tired and happy dog when I picked him up! You're the only sitter he's thoroughly happy to see. Must have something to do with those extra ball throwers you have :)â

âI was in Atlanta for the weekend and Luis watched my excitable dog for 12 hours on short notice. He is great. He went above and beyond and I would recommend him to anyone.â

âVicki is extremely knowledgeable about all things dog and apllies this with all aspects of her care. She is wonderful and I feel very grateful to have found her.â

âSheena has made mine and my partnerâs life so much easier by providing excellent doggie daycare services to my dog. I would recommend her to anyone.â

âAmy and Shelby are the best! They accommodate last minute requests when events take longer than anticipated, and when we just need an extra day here or there. Our dogs are always excited when they realize they are going down the road to Amyâs house and they always come home happy and tired. They have taken care of both of our dogs since they were both puppies and have helped us with training and potty training as well. Our dogs are very obedient and well mannered in large part to Amy and her family. They are well socialized and great with kids also I am sure thanks to them. Having a busy work and life schedule makes owning 2 dogs tough but they help us make it possible! I know my pups are in good hands when they are with Amy and Shelby.â

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kenmore
My first time using Rover and first time boarding my dog. Dena was welcoming and communicative. She let me up to date with photos during my dogs stay with her. She gave me thoughtful feedback to help my dog have success with future boarding. I appreciate Dena and highly recommend her to anyone.

We sent our 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Lucky, to daycare with Rohan, and it was a wonderful experience. Lucky is very high energy, but Rohan took exceptional care of him. His dog, Zeon, and Lucky quickly became best buddies, which made the experience even better. I would strongly recommend Rohanâhe treats Lucky with the same love and attention that we do. Weâll definitely be sending Lucky to him more often. Lucky had such a great time that he came back home happily tired! Looking forward to more playdates with Zeon

Isaac has been wonderful with our pup. His leash walking has improved, heâs well cared for with regular walks and feeding, and heâs always happy when he goes and comes back. We also really appreciate how flexible and accommodating Isaac is with our changing schedules. Highly recommend!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Kenmore commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
