“My dog always has a Wonderful time with Michelle & Brian. She loves playing with their dog & Michelle & Brian are such loving, caring people. My dog can't wait to spend the afternoon with them & their sweet dog!”

About: I have an 9 year old Australian labradoodle, Dundee, that I've raised and trained since she was 9 weeks old. She has environmental allergies so I'm experienced with dietary restrictions and giving injections and oral medication. I only dog sit non-shedding breeds due to allergies. I can flexibly walk your dog and let them out to play in our yard according to their needs. I take my own dog, Dundee, on regular walks everyday so your dog would have a friend to walk with! She is fully vaccinated, super chill, and loves to give kisses and cuddle. I have a fully fenced yard in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Dogs are welcome to sleep in a crate or dog bed you provide, we follow your rules! I also have two children under age 10 who are respectful of pets in the home and also helpful with feeding them, letting them out in the yard and back inside.
“Buddy is getting to bond with Jenny. She is amazing. Loving, caring and all day she was keeping me informed about buddy. I am glad Buddy finally love someone that loves him. Thanks Jenny. See you soon.”

“Brynn and her husband are great with June! Super communicative with picture updates and she was super excited to go a second time. June comes home happy but exhausted, ready for a long nap so you know she had a great time!”

About: Hi! We are Erick and Laura and both grew up in households filled with dogs. We are both fully employed in the tech world, both privileged enough to work from home every day all day which enables us to spend hours on end with our dog as well, and take regular 1-2 hour walks throughout the day. We walk 5 miles minimum a day with our very active australian shepherd, and we actually run a photography and travel business on the side so we are always out doing something fun/cool/active, especially for those dogs looking to integrate into adventurous days while their humans are traveling! We've pet sat many different types of dogs over the years and are capable, motivated and excited to watch your dog! We work from home every day and have very flexible schedules, so we can accommodate pretty much any schedule that your dog needs. We are already frequently at the dog park with our dog as well! We can accommodate any need. If your dog prefers a crate, needs medicines, needs additional support, we can certainly work with you to make sure your dog is happy as possible while you are away. We are also very regular picture takers so will send many happy updates. You may even get professional photos of your dog given Erick's propensity for beautiful photos! :)
“Christine was great! Super kind and communicative. Her updates were super helpful and it seems like Bitty had a great time! I would feel very comfortable having Bitty visit again.”

“Qiaohui did an amazing job with Owen. She sent us a ton of pics throughout the day, and it was great to be able to see Owen playing with his pup friends:) Drop off/pick up was very easy, and I am very grateful to have found a safe and fun place for Owen to stay ☺️”

“Very attentive doggy daycare people. Listened to my instructions & followed them precisely. Took pictures & sent them to me on my cell phone while I was gone. My dog also enjoyed playing with 2 other dogs.”

About: I've cared for dogs belonging to friends and family for several years, including overnight boarding in my home. At one point, we cared for two guest dogs in addition to our own dog, so I'm comfortable managing multiple dogs while making sure each gets attention, exercise, and a safe environment. I'm active and enjoy long walks, and I understand how important routine, patience, and clear communication are. I know every dog has a different personality, so I take the time to help them feel comfortable and keep owners updated with photos and messages. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel relaxed and confident while you're away. I'm currently very flexible and can provide plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy being active and taking dogs for walks, playing with them, and making sure they stick to their normal routines. I offer boarding, daycare, and walks, and I'll work with you to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly 6-year-old Black Labrador who enjoys the company of other dogs. I've cared for friends' dogs in my home, including boarding multiple dogs at the same time, so I'm comfortable introducing dogs carefully and supervising their interactions. To give every guest my full attention, I only accept dogs from one family at a time for boarding. I'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions you provide, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.
About: I'm a retired lady who would very much like to help you out with your cat/dog-sitting needs. I'm reliable, trustworthy, flexible and would love to meet you. I've had pets all my life from childhood through today, from bearded dragons to turtles and from cats to dogs to bunnies and more ... I'm able to administer injections if necessary (I had a dog with diabetes and he needed daily shots) I can take care of your pet at your home or mine and am happy to take daily pictures and send them to you if you're traveling. Please give me a shout and let's meet! I'm retired and have time on my hands to take care of your pet either in my home or yours. I'm happy to keep Vet appointments if you're out of town, administer injections, keep you updated with pictures if you're traveling - and am happy to talk with you about any special needs or concerns. I will always take your instructions to heart and follow them to the letter. I would never put your pet in harm's way or take him/her somewhere to which you didn't approve. When I take on a new client, I prefer meeting them in person, meeting your pet(s) and going over your expectations, rules and any special requests. Once that is done I can take care of your little one(s) in your home or mine. I'm able to take dogs on walks and I make time to exercise your cat by playing with them with their 'toys.' I am trustworthy and responsible ... I have the ability to transport your cat(s) or dog(s) to Vet appointments. I'm able to take your dog to a dog park if he/she needs to run and play with other dogs.
“Conor is so knowledgeable about dogs. He met our shy dogs outside with treats and took them for a walk before bringing them into the house. He helped our new pup, Coco, become comfortable and then she played with another standard poodle all day. Our quiet small dog, Amelie, happily hung out with Conor's 12 year old dog. Conor sent photos, offered tips about training, and we were very pleased with their first day with him. We will return for sure.”

About: I have been a pet owner since birth. Growing up in my household we were surrounded by dogs, cats, birds, and many rodents and amphibians. In the morning I must feed and change the water for my cat as well as birds. We begin with making my cat do a trick and then she gets fed. I have crates and a downstairs of my house to easily separate animals if any disputes should pop up. I am a trusted individual who can guarantee your pet's safety and happiness.
“First time using Janet as a sitter and it went amazing! Was getting some work done on my home that wasn’t really optimal for my dog to be around for a few hours and needed to find a sitter nearby and Janet had the availability and checked all my boxes. We did a little meet and greet at her home beforehand and my dog, Charli, had no problems meeting her and being in her home. Will definitely contact her again should I need a sitter.”

“Lyndsey and Roni are the best. First of all, I have not one but two German Shepard puppies still potty training. They were happy to meet these baby biters and watch them for us while we work. Right when I walked in the door, I was immediately at ease because Lyndsey and Roni seemed excited to meet our new pack. Plus, Angus greeted Mika and Murphy and welcomed them into his domain, he was so friendly and also seemed happy to meet these two. Throughout the day videos and pictures were sent, again reassuring me that these ladies love dogs as much as we do. If you are looking for a sitter who loves your dog, I recommend Lyndsey and Roni. It's tough to trust a stranger with your babies, but I knew they were the ones! I feel lucky to have found them.”

Scott took great care of my dog, Annie! She came home happy and completely worn out, which is always a good sign. He sent pictures during her stay and even took her for a walk, which I really appreciated. I would definitely use Scott again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

We needed a brief respite for our dog, who is recovering from ACL surgery, during our daughter's high school grad party. Janet came to the rescue! She was the perfect, calming influence and has an ideal home set up, with very few stairs for our girl to navigate. Thanks so much for your help, Janet!
My first time using Rover and first time boarding my dog. Dena was welcoming and communicative. She let me up to date with photos during my dogs stay with her. She gave me thoughtful feedback to help my dog have success with future boarding. I appreciate Dena and highly recommend her to anyone.

Ellyssa and Anthony are amazing with my dog, Knox. He gets excited every time we turn the corner on their street. They not only care for him but seek opportunities to enrich his time with needed exercise and active play time. Thank you for also being flexible with care when my schedule fluctuates.

Roni did a great job making me feel comfortable leaving my two pups with her for daycare for the first time. She shared lots of photos, videos, and reassured me of how they were doing throughout the day. Margo and Tucker came home happy and tired after playing with their new friends!

We are very appreciative of Sarah and her partners care for our three year old pup Ammu. Sarah was very accommodating of ammus needs around taking time getting familiarized with humans. She was patient with ammu and we found an settling in very soon and also being happy going in on her second visit. We appreciate Sarah's communication and flexibility and look forward to more of her care for our little one.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
