“Jenny was wonderful, compassionate. This was the first time I left my puppy with her. I was a bit anxious, not sure how he will behave. Looks like he had a good time with Jenny. She was sending me pictures, video all day and was updating me about buddy. I will recommend Jenny. I am looking forward to have buddy bond with her another time. Thanks Jenny”

“My dog came home happy and healthy! I was sent some pictures and a video while he was there and it helped my anxiety about boarding him for the first time! Karissa and her fiance were both really nice and accommodating! Would definitely book again!”

“It was the first time our puppy was without us and I was very unsure on how would be. John sent pictures of Flicts the whole day, what warmed my heart. Thank you for thanking good care of our baby! I would definitely recommend the stay, especially for anxious pet mom like me!”

About: I have an 9 year old Australian labradoodle, Dundee, that I've raised and trained since she was 9 weeks old. She has environmental allergies so I'm experienced with dietary restrictions and giving injections and oral medication. I only dog sit non-shedding breeds due to allergies. I can flexibly walk your dog and let them out to play in our yard according to their needs. I take my own dog, Dundee, on regular walks everyday so your dog would have a friend to walk with! She is fully vaccinated, super chill, and loves to give kisses and cuddle. I have a fully fenced yard in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Dogs are welcome to sleep in a crate or dog bed you provide, we follow your rules! I also have two children under age 10 who are respectful of pets in the home and also helpful with feeding them, letting them out in the yard and back inside.
“Conor took excellent care of Haru today and even brought her to the dog park. He shared photos and videos throughout the day, which gave me great peace of mind. Haru clearly had a wonderful time and is a happy, tired pup now :)”

About: I've always loved dogs and have helped out friends by watching their pups whenever they need a hand. I have a goldendoodle of my own at home, so I'm great with the high energy pups but I'm just as happy keeping things calm and sticking to a regular routine for most. From the energetic to the shy, I can adapt to different needs and personalities. Communication is important to me, and you can expect timely responses and updates so you always know how your dog is doing. I would appreciate if you could let me know in advance the quirks, fears, or anything else that I should be aware of about your pup. I'm happy to customize walks that match your dog’s routine, be it more exercise, less exercise, or anything in between. Your pup’s comfort and safety always come first. I'm home full time and have a flexible schedule so I will have plenty of time to shower your pup with lots of love and attention. Now located in Lynnwood, I live in a pet-friendly apartment community. I could take dogs on walks around our neighborhood and visit nearby green spaces.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and grew up with dogs. Most recently, I cared for my beloved dog and my cat for many years—my dog and cat were part of our family for over 18 years. Caring for them taught me patience, responsibility, and how every pet has their own unique personality and needs. Our family isn’t quite ready to adopt another pet yet, but I truly miss having furry companions around the house. Pet sitting allows us to share our love and attention with your pets while giving them a safe, comfortable, and caring home away from home. I’d especially love to care for small dogs, and we’ll treat your pets like they’re part of our family. I’m a lifelong pet lover who enjoys providing a safe, loving home for your pup. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide personalized care, walks, playtime, and companionship. I only host one to two small dogs at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, love, and a calm, comfortable environment while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only care for one or two housebroken dogs at a time, ensuring each pet receives plenty of attention in a calm, loving environment. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and specialize in caring for small dogs under 15 pounds. I will require that you provide a crate for your dog’s stay. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and right at home.
“Brynn and her husband are great with June! Super communicative with picture updates and she was super excited to go a second time. June comes home happy but exhausted, ready for a long nap so you know she had a great time!”

“Naomi and Benson took great care of my dog while I was away for work. They were extremely flexible and accommodating to our needs. Naomi took time out of her day to send regular updates and photos, and she was always quick to reply. It didn’t take long before my dog was excited to see her at drop offs. If I ever need a sitter again, they’ll be my first choice!”

“Gus always has a blast doing doggy daycare at Lia's since he gets to hang out with other dogs in a more supervised place without it being overcrowded. He comes home a tired boy and ends up being tired for an extra day or two after. Great physical and mental stimulation for him!”

“They took such great care of Elbert, even though he has separation anxiety. They made sure my furr-baby was comfortable and went on plenty of walks. They were flexible when I was running late and were very nice. I would highly recommend their services. They live in a nice, safe, dog-friendly neighborhood.”

“Rini loves my pup & others as part of her family. She cares for Rudy weekly & I had no worries leaving him with Rini while I was out of town for a week. Rudy loves his days with her!”

This marks Morita's second visit to Jenny's, and we are delighted to observe her positive experience. Jenny consistently fulfilled all our requests and provided exceptional care for Morita. We are highly satisfied with Jenny's services and eagerly anticipate Morita's next stay at her home.

John did a great job watching my Moms dog for us. We just want Sadie to get acclimated with some new fur friends and this is a great way to do that. John was very attentive to her needs and is very good with animals..it was a great first time and hope to continue our doggy day care through Rover and John :)

Christine was wonderful, we had a brief booking with her during our trip to Seattle. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed her time and made new friends. She ensured our comfort by providing regular updates and photographs. We highly recommend her services and plan to return.

My first time using Rover and first time boarding my dog. Dena was welcoming and communicative. She let me up to date with photos during my dogs stay with her. She gave me thoughtful feedback to help my dog have success with future boarding. I appreciate Dena and highly recommend her to anyone.

Roni did a great job making me feel comfortable leaving my two pups with her for daycare for the first time. She shared lots of photos, videos, and reassured me of how they were doing throughout the day. Margo and Tucker came home happy and tired after playing with their new friends!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
