About: I have many years of experience caring for animals. My own dogs are very old and no longer enjoy walks so I started walking dogs in my neighborhood. I have a knack for calming reactionary dogs and nervous walkers. I enjoy every animal, especially the challenging ones. Pet sitting, playing with dogs, taking walks, what could be better than that? It truly is a passion. I am a retired Mother of 3 whose children are all grown up. Aside from helping my elderly Mother and walking my neighbor's dog my schedule is wide open. I can provide pet sitting in your home including overnights. Don't let my age fool you! I am high energy and walk many miles a day. 10 years ago I hired a family member to stay with my pets for 2 weeks. It was the first time I trusted someone to watch my animals. The first time I had been away from my dog. I couldn't get a hold of her so I sent someone over to check on them on the 3rd day. There was a gigantic pile of dog food on the floor and feces and urine everywhere. My poor dog was entirely alone and one of my cats was missing. I was devastated when we came home to discover my cat had passed away from being locked in a hot garage. that was the last time we took a vacation without our pets along. All this to say I know how important it is to have trustworthy pet care and I pride myself on providing it. I also recognize the importance of communication between client and provider.
“Frankie loved spending time with Aein and Felfel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Aein gave updates everyday with videos and photos. I could tell Frankie was completely comfortable and was having a great time. I had no worries and know that with Aein, Frankie is well taken care of. I highly recommend Aein to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter.”

“Conor was great! He was communicative and sent photos and videos. Lucy was lucky enough to spend time with another friendly pup and boy she was tired when she got home. Lucy felt very at home with Conor and we would be happy to use him again.”

“Our dog Reina loves Rini! We booked our dog with Rini for three days. After one day with Rini, she could not wait to start the following day with her. She jumped out of the car and raced to her front door. And Rini was great with us too - providing photos and notes that documented the day and greeting us with a friendly, warm smile. We will be back to this special canine-lover!”

“Jose is awesome and Charlie loves him. His house is perfect for my active puppy and he loves it when there are other dogs to play with. I feel very comfortable leaving him with Jose and plan to do so when I go on vacation 🤗”

“Heidi looked after our fur baby for 2 days of daycare. This was after he got neutered, we want to make sure he was not stressed or alone while we went to work. She took good care of him and he was a happy boy!”

About: I’ve had the privilege of raising and loving dogs since childhood. Most recently, I shared nearly two decades with my sweet senior pup (yes, all dogs even the senior ones are puppies to me), caring for her from puppyhood all the way to her senior years when she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge at almost 19. Caring for her unconditionally throughout her life left me with an abundance of love to give, and I want to honor her memory by providing that same dedicated care to your furry family members. Because of my journey with her, I am experienced in both the high-energy demands of raising puppies and the specialized, gentle needs of senior dogs such as administering medication, subcutaneous fluids, and managing mobility limitations and senior comfort. I promise to treat your dog with the same patience and unconditional love I poured into my own for 19 years. Because I am currently taking a short break in my career, I am at home full-time and can dedicate my entire day to your pet's care, routine, and companionship. Your dog will have constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention. Additionally, my husband works a hybrid schedule and is home half the week, meaning we have built-in backup and double the love for our furry guests. Our flexible schedule allows us to easily accommodate your dog's specific feeding, walking, and medication timelines. I am located in a quiet, peaceful cul-de-sac, and my home is a safe and secure environment designed with dogs in mind. I have a spacious, fenced backyard for plenty of supervised playtime, and have boarded up to three dogs at a time to ensure everyone receives personalized attention. For exercise, we have access to a private, fenced-in park perfect for long, safe walks away from busy traffic. Plus, my home features a built-in doggie shower suitable for both large and small breeds, so your pup stays clean!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Meadowdale
I booked with Conor last minute and he was able to accommodate. This was my first time leaving my puppy with someone, so I was definitely nervous. Conor has a very calm, kind demeanor which immediately put me at ease upon drop off. My pup had the time of his life playing with Conor's dogs and in their kiddie pool. I will definitely be booking with him again.

John did a great job watching my Moms dog for us. We just want Sadie to get acclimated with some new fur friends and this is a great way to do that. John was very attentive to her needs and is very good with animals..it was a great first time and hope to continue our doggy day care through Rover and John :)

Christine was wonderful, we had a brief booking with her during our trip to Seattle. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed her time and made new friends. She ensured our comfort by providing regular updates and photographs. We highly recommend her services and plan to return.

This was our second time booking with Laura and she is just fantastic!! So warm and loving towards our 100 pound German Shepard - Pitt mix. Super flexible with pickup/drop off, sends daily pictures, and is truly so warm with our boy. I can tell that she and her husband are real dog lovers. Thank you again, Laura!! ❤️

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
