About: I have many years of experience caring for animals. My own dogs are very old and no longer enjoy walks so I started walking dogs in my neighborhood. I have a knack for calming reactionary dogs and nervous walkers. I enjoy every animal, especially the challenging ones. Pet sitting, playing with dogs, taking walks, what could be better than that? It truly is a passion. I am a retired Mother of 3 whose children are all grown up. Aside from helping my elderly Mother and walking my neighbor's dog my schedule is wide open. I can provide pet sitting in your home including overnights. Don't let my age fool you! I am high energy and walk many miles a day. 10 years ago I hired a family member to stay with my pets for 2 weeks. It was the first time I trusted someone to watch my animals. The first time I had been away from my dog. I couldn't get a hold of her so I sent someone over to check on them on the 3rd day. There was a gigantic pile of dog food on the floor and feces and urine everywhere. My poor dog was entirely alone and one of my cats was missing. I was devastated when we came home to discover my cat had passed away from being locked in a hot garage. that was the last time we took a vacation without our pets along. Currently, my schedule is very flexible to attend to your dog’s needs. Your dog will receive lots of exercise, attention and snuggles from our entire family. We have a large fenced yard and one golden retriever who will also keep your dog company. Usually at least one person is always home so your dog will rarely be left alone. We have lots of extra dog supplies so the only thing you really need to bring is food and their treats. I booked with Conor last minute and he was able to accommodate. This was my first time leaving my puppy with someone, so I was definitely nervous. Conor has a very calm, kind demeanor which immediately put me at ease upon drop off. My pup had the time of his life playing with Conor's dogs and in their kiddie pool. John did a great job watching my Moms dog for us. We just want Sadie to get acclimated with some new fur friends and this is a great way to do that.
