I’m currently working from home 5 days a week. I have plenty of time and flexibility to go for walks and take breaks as often as needed. I also have 2 older children: aged 13 and 17. They would love to play and keep your furbaby entertained during their stay with us.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard where your dog can bask in the sunshine or take a quick bathroom break. We live close to a fenced off-leash park that provides a large grassy, open area to play fetch. When we have guests, we treat them like family and allow them on the furniture, unless of course you provide direction to reinforce your house rules. We understand the importance of not breaking routine when it comes to training.

Information Beth P. would like to know about your pet
I’m not experienced / comfortable taking dogs with special needs or older dogs with serious health concerns. Additionally, any large breed with aggressive reactivity will not be a good fit. The only breed I will not take is Husky or any mix of. If there are any special instructions it is preferred they are written or printed out.
A typical day
Meals are typically served at 7 am and 7 pm. Guests typically bring their own food and snacks, but an allergen-safe backup is on-hand in case of food running short during the stay. We’ll take walks around the neighborhood and to the nearby off-leash park where we can play fetch and have some down time in the shade cooling off with a drink.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in Kansas, where we had a dozen dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. About half were family pets and the other half were bred and trained for bird hunting. I picked up on how to train dogs rather quickly. As an adult I’ve personally owned and trained from puppies a Shiba Inu and a German Shepherd. We have in the last year adopted a 2-year old Pitt Bull / Weimaraner mix who is now a trained service animal, very sweet and gentle with his small animal friends.
Reviews

We finally feel like we’ve found someone we fully trust with our anxious pup. It’s a relief being able to leave her without feeling guilty, knowing she’s getting so much love, attention, and care. We got daily updates and pictures that completely put us at ease — highly recommend!

My very first time having Beth watch my dog Coco. She asked all the right questions in the meet and greet so she can provide all the right care for Coco. From the first time Coco stepped in Beth’s home Coco was very happy. Beth took a good care of Coco in his few days staying with her. I will definitely rebook for Coco a stay with Beth soon. Thank you so much Beth.

Beth took good care of Mowgli. She sent regular updates and kept me posted about him. It was comforting knowing that my pup had settled in well and was enjoying his time at her place.

Max enjoyed his visit with Beth and Roach! She kept me updated with good communication and pictures. Would definitely book with her again!
