“Frankie loved spending time with Aein and Felfel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Aein gave updates everyday with videos and photos. I could tell Frankie was completely comfortable and was having a great time. I had no worries and know that with Aein, Frankie is well taken care of. I highly recommend Aein to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter.”

“Best people to leave your dog with, I can’t say enough good things about them!! They took such great care of our Ollie, walked him, played with him, and he got along so well with their dog Haru! Pretty sure he didn’t want to leave when I picked him up! Thank you so much!!!”

“Kevin had his first day of doggie day care with Alexandra yesterday and it went well! Alexandra gave lots of updates. It was really nice to receive pictures and know how Kevin was during the day. Alexandra took Kevin on two long walks. Kevin had a great day. Thank you Alexandra!”

“Buddy is getting to bond with Jenny. She is amazing. Loving, caring and all day she was keeping me informed about buddy. I am glad Buddy finally love someone that loves him. Thanks Jenny. See you soon.”

“Kai was amazing in care, communication and attention to Biskut. I had a busy day of meetings and I got a lot of updates about Biskut all day. It out a giant smile on my face. We will absolutely board Biskut with Kai again.”

“Odi had such great time with Rachel and Ian. It made me feel confident leaving him for the day as they where very attentive and asked all the right questions during our meet and greet. They assured me they would be careful as my little Odi had an annoying amount of allergies. They sent lots of pictures, and videos during the whole stay. They even said he slept for a while, while with them which NEVER happens has he tends to have trouble settling in new places. We have booked them for a number of days during the summer as I am heading back work and I would recommend them to anyone else looking for a day or overnight accommodation. :)”

“Ryker had a blast and amazing stay yesterday! He spent all his energy at the day care and just sleep the remaining evening. They also provide pics and updates regularly. Ryker is really looking forward for his next stay!”

“We've tried many sitters for our dog over the years, but Karissa is the only sitter our dog has ever been excited to see. Karissa and her mom are great with our dog and very easy to work with.”

About: Dog owner for 5 years. Rescued a pittie who was initially fearful of many things but with exposure therapy he's become calm and is incredibly gentle! During the work days, I work from home and can take the dogs out for regular potty breaks. Each morning, I take Atlas (and your dog if desired) on an hour long walk in the morning before breakfast and another hour long walk after work. I also take them out for a potty break around noon with play breaks during the day as needed. Your dog will be well exhausted and happy! I live in a 3 story town home. The yard is small, about 500 sq feet but is only used for potty breaks. To keep dogs happy and not bored I take them out for long leisurely walks where they can sniff and experience new environments, new dogs and people. I also am an amateur trainer and can help dogs walk better on leash or listen better. I use the ahimsa dog training manual and use positive reinforcement.
“Gus always has a blast doing doggy daycare at Lia's since he gets to hang out with other dogs in a more supervised place without it being overcrowded. He comes home a tired boy and ends up being tired for an extra day or two after. Great physical and mental stimulation for him!”

“Sharon was really great to my terrier mixed Lola. She had a great time with Sharon's dog Ginger. I really appreciate Sharon's last minute accommodation. Will definitely use her again, and again!”

About: I have always had a profound love for animals, especially cats and dogs. This passion began when I was a child, taking care of my grandparents' dogs. Over the years, this experience has nurtured my affection for animals and taught me the importance of providing them with the best possible care. Growing up around pets has given me an in-depth understanding of their needs, behaviors, and the joys they bring into our lives. I truly believe that every moment spent with a pet is precious, and I cherish the time I get to spend with your beloved babies. Whether it's feeding, playing, or simply providing companionship, I find joy in every aspect of pet care. One of my greatest strengths is my attention to detail. I am meticulous in observing your pets' moods and health, ensuring they are always happy and comfortable. My patience allows me to handle various situations calmly and efficiently, especially when dealing with pets that require special care. I look forward to providing them with the best care and creating wonderful memories together! I currently work fully remote, so it super flexible for me to take care the pets, whenever they want to go out or just want to play with me, I can do that. I have a dog friendly cat in home and live in a third-floor townhouse that pet will have plenty room to run and play, also a non-fenced public yard to run(so will be on leash)
“We were really anxious before putting Mickey on a day care as he takes time to get along with humans. But Sang and Ayaka has been wonderful, Mickey really enjoyed his stay with them specially with Lux. They were very responsive in sending us updates for Mickey in form of messages and photos. Will definitely contact them again in future.”

“Our boy really took to John. When I picked him up, John and I talked briefly. I guy in the car and add Z John was walking up to the door our boy watched him from the back seat go in to the house.. he watched the door as we pulled away”

“Our corgi is a total "people person" and hates leaving the family, often cutting walks short to run back to us if we’re home. While other walkers have struggled with this, Yuvaraj immediately identified the issue. With our permission, he drove him for his backyard for their next session, resulting in a long, successful walk! Now,our dog is ecstatic the moment he sees Yuvaraj at the door. We’ve even started sending him to Yuvaraj’s for daycare, where he’s having a blast. Yuvaraj sends plenty of photo updates, and it’s clear he truly loves the dogs (and our dog certainly loves his backyard and couch!). We have a trip coming up and feel completely at ease knowing our dog will be in such capable hands”

The median cost per day for doggy day care in Martha Lake is $45

We reached out to Priyanka at the last minute and she was able to accommodate us. Our dog, Cooper seemed to have a great time with her. She has a yard set up that the dogs could play in and that was very sweet. With constant updates she was very reassuring and helpful. Definitely will rebook if needed! Thank you Priyanka for taking good care of Cooper.

Brad has become a favorite sitter of Lunas. He lives about half a mile from us and I'm pretty sure she knows the turns on the car ride and gets excited before reaching his front door. She always sleeps well the same night. Brad is also great with short notice requests. We appreciate being able to be worry free with Luna staying there.

Stephanie was awesome and super attentive! She made a fun day for Bug while we were enjoying time in Seattle with family in town. She was the happiest pup when she came home. Stephanie even went the extra mile to wash her bandana that got dirty while playing. Would highly recommend her any time!

Siddhi and Newton are the absolute best ❤️ Newton plays SO well with Ollie and showing him the ropes and Siddhi is just a phenomenal person and trusted dog sitter! Truly we feel so at ease when she watches Oliver because we know he is in the best of hands!! Not to mention Newton is the sweetest most patient pup and plays so well with our energetic Oliver!

Alexandra took wonderful care of our 66 lb Lab mix while we were away. She followed all of the care instructions, kept up with his potty break schedule, took him on walks, and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for. She also sent us regular photos, videos, and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that our Oreo was happy and in great hands. We truly appreciated her reliability, communication, and kindness. We would absolutely recommend Alexandra and would happily book with her again!

Yuvaraj was great with my pup who is very sweet but struggles with anxiety. Yuvaraj seemed to intuitively know what my dog needed to feel safe and confident. Also, the amount of area the dogs have to roam free is very impressive; it will make for some tired out pups for sure!

We had a great experience with Kalleen watching our girls for daycare! She was very kind and communicative, and we really appreciated the photo updates throughout the day. Molly and Bella can both be a little anxious/skittish in new environments, so it meant a lot to see them looking calm and comfortable while they were there. Bella even had an accident shortly after arrival, and while we were really embarrassed, Kalleen was very understanding about it, which we appreciated. We especially liked that she only accepts a small number of dogs at a time, since we think the quieter senior-dog environment helped our girls feel at ease during their stay. The location was also super convenient for us. We would definitely book with her again!

Jason and Samy were really sweet to our dog. Poppy has not been around a lot of people and was pretty nervous when we dropped her off. Jason worked with her to calm her down. He kept us updated on her well-being and sent us videos and pictures of her. We are confident that she was in good hands and will definitely book again with Jason and Samy. Many thanks!

Lilith was a first time rover daycare sitter for us, and she was very kind, communicative, and patient with our dogs. One of our dogs can be very reactive on a leash and high energy at times, and she handled it with grace and patience. She gave us constant updates and photos, followed all of our instructions to a T, let us know of any concerns she may have had, flexible with drop off/pick up times, and made us feel at ease while in her care. Can’t thank her enough for watching our dogs, and highly recommend Lilith for all your sitting needs!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Martha Lake commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
