“Tunyi was so great with Mitti. She gave her puzzles to do and sent us a ton of videos. Her dog and Mitti hung out all day and I was very comfortable with the whole process. Highly recommend Tunyi!!!”

“Ammu(puppy, mixed - 6.5 months) had a wonderful time at Jessica's place. Jessica was very considerate about the fact that this was Ammu's first time in any day care outside the house, and took a lot of care to make her feel comfortable. Jessica's dogs were super gentle and welcoming right from the start, immediately putting ammu (and us!) at ease:) it was great to receive pictures during the day of ammu exploring the fun backyard space. Thanks a lot to Jessica for taking care of our baby girl!”

“Qiaohui did an amazing job with Owen. She sent us a ton of pics throughout the day, and it was great to be able to see Owen playing with his pup friends:) Drop off/pick up was very easy, and I am very grateful to have found a safe and fun place for Owen to stay ☺️”

“Michelle and Brian are the best! I had a last minute request for a play date with Ari and they were quick to accept. Oakley had a great day with his new best friend!”

“Virginie is wonderful. She provides excellent care to Sienna. She is very responsible and kind. I trust her completely. Sienna and Tiptoe are great friends and are always very excited to see each other.”

“Pengfei, Sijie, and Bonus did a great job watching Teddy, our 12 month big Doberman puppy! It was wonderful to receive pictures and videos throughout the day to see how happy he was and how well he was getting along with Bonus. They made sure he got plenty of exercise, attention, and snuggles. Would absolutely have him stay with them again!”

“Juan was absolutely amazing with Miles and his dog Odie is the most behaved dog I’ve ever seen. He was constantly in touch with updates and pictures and responded super quickly! He also returned my dog’s food bowl completely washed😭 so I would 100% him for whenever anyone needs a sitter as he really goes above and beyond. Miles came back completely drained from so many walks and playing with Odie and other dogs at the park!”
“Brynn and her husband are great with June! Super communicative with picture updates and she was super excited to go a second time. June comes home happy but exhausted, ready for a long nap so you know she had a great time!”

“It was such a pleasure to leave Bunny with Karina. Bunny loves outdoors and she made sure he had a lot of outdoor/walk time. She was flexible about my drop off time of 6/6:30am- that was specially helpful on a work day.”

About: Hi there! 👋 We’re a dog-loving couple with flexible schedules and a big heart for pups. I don’t work a fixed 9 to 5 schedule and my husband works fully from home — so your dog will always have company and care around the clock. Our one-year-old female lab who loves every dog she meets. Before her, we were lucky to have a male Lab who stayed with us for 16 wonderful years, from just a few weeks old until his peaceful passing on his 16th birthday. Because of him, we’re very familiar with caring for dogs at every stage of life — from energetic puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra attention and care. We live in a house with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. We take at least three walks a day — around our quiet neighborhood, across the street at the middle school sports ground or along the nearby riverside trail — always on leash for safety. We’ll treat your dog like family and make sure they feel loved, safe, and right at home. 🐾 ❤️ What You Can Expect * 24/7 supervision and companionship * Daily photo and video updates * Safe, fenced yard for playtime * Walks at least three times a day * Plenty of love, cuddles, and positive energy I don’t work a fixed 9 to 5 schedule and my husband works fully from home — so your dog will always have company and care around the clock We live in a house with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. About: I've been an owner of several animals including dogs, cats, tortoises, birds, hamsters and fish, and I have some experience training dogs. I have also pet sitted dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, fish and other pets. I'd love to hear what are your pet's particular needs and be your pet'd favorite vacation spot. I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend playing outside with your pet, giving them belly rubs or taking them in walks in the neighborhood. I have a fenced yard with grass and plants and a friendly dog to keep your dog company. I also can go to your home to spend time with your pet.
“Candra took excellent care of our 18 month old Goldendoodle for day boarding. She shared updates regularly, played with him and followed care instructions. Would highly recommend her and would utilize her services again.”

About: I have owned and cared for pets for all of my life but it’s been a big part of my life over the last several years. Friends have dropped off pets at my home on 1.5acres, close into Woodinville. My own pets are very, happily socialized to enjoy visiting pets. There is a large fenced, fully landscaped yard to wander and always attention, pat’s and treats to go around. I will be working part time so no more than a few hrs away from the home a couple days a week. Fun times ahead! I have a large, fenced yard and a monitored doggy door to allow for potty brakes and free roaming. My dogs are well socialized and a little on the older side so tend to just hang out during the day.
“Our guy has a great time today! We were in town for a family event and needed to have him somewhere fun and safe while he couldn’t be with us. He was tuckered out at pickup. We’ll be back if needed!”

“My 6 month Cavapoo had a great time with Mike. He sent several photos throughout the day showing us the many places she liked to hang out. She loved exploring his backyard. Mike is very friendly and loved having Nilla.”

Rohan was fantastic with Pari! He took her on very short notice, which was a lifesaver, and it turned out to be a great stay. He was super communicative throughout, sending regular pictures and updates so we never had to worry. Pari came home happy and well cared for. We'd absolutely book with Rohan again — highly recommend

Xiaoli did an amazing job taking care my Teddy She truly went above and beyond accommodating Teddy needs. She sent lots of pictures & video updates with quick responses and great communication. I highly recommend and would have her care for Teddy again. Thank you so much Xiaoli!
Kayla was amazing! She took great care of Luca, was patient with him and helped him settle on his first time being left at someone’s house. She took lots of pictures and was very helpful in sharing progress through the day. Her dog Mort is an absolute sweetheart and the friendliest pup. It was clear Luca had a great time with Mort and Kayla.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bothell commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
