About: I adore animals! I grew up with cats and dogs and have cared for them almost my entire life. I have experience petsitting for family, friends and neighbors as well as volunteering with cats at Whatcom Humane Society. I have a kitty of my own named Oswald who is very spoiled. I work at an elementary school and I’m off work for the summer, so petsitting is my only priority! I am available for drop-in visits and walks every day of the week from mornings to nights (with exceptions, but if I am busy on a certain day I will remove it from my calendar). I am patient, calm, and attentive to the needs of animals. I have many years of practice reading the body language of cats and dogs so I will be considerate of your pet’s boundaries if they are feeling shy. I will work hard to help your pet feel as happy and secure as possible in my presence, whether that’s through pets and cuddles, playing, or just softly talking to them so they can get used to hearing my voice. I am also confident in caring for pets other than cats and dogs (rodents, reptiles, fish, etc.) given that they have a detailed care plan. As a child/teen my family had fish, frogs, a parakeet, and even a hedgehog so I’m very comfortable looking after pets of all kinds. I would love the opportunity to meet your pet(s)!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life — puppies, seniors, and everything in between. My dog and I walk an average of 3 miles every day and hike regularly, so I’m used to keeping up with high-energy pups and know how to read a dog’s cues. I’ve dog-sat for friends and family for years, and a couple years ago I cared for my dog through a TPLO surgery and recovery — so I’m comfortable with dogs that need extra attention, patience, or medication. No dog is too big, too old, or too energetic for me. I just genuinely love dogs. My work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off. My hours are 1600-0230. On my off weeks, I have lots of time for drop ins, walks, or even taking your pup on a local adventure. On my weeks on, my time is a little more restricted due to sleep/work, but I still try to walk every day and can work with you to find a time that works! I am open to whatever is needed to keep your pup safe and happy. One of the dogs I regularly watch has a whole booby trap I have to set up before I leave so that he can’t get into the pantry! Oh and rest assured that you’ll receive at least one (but probably more) photo update each time!

Caroline was so great! She came for an initial visit just to get to know our cat, and was very calm and patient in learning how to best interact with our shy Sasquatch. She was incredibly detail-oriented, gave lots of really great updates throughout her visits, was really kind to our cat and helped to slowly draw her out of her hiding spot, and even hand-cleaned the wet food bowls after each use. By the end of her visits, our cat had come out and was talking to her. Caroline is seriously awesome and highly-recommended. We will definitely work with her again!
Cortney took amazing care of our Chihuahua, Shuige, while we were away in France for a week. She visited him every day, kept us constantly updated with lots of photos and thoughtful messages, and let us know how he was doing, what he ate, and how he was feeling. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. What impressed us most was how patient and kind she was with Shuige. He’s usually very shy and scared of strangers, but Cortney took the time to earn his trust and made him feel comfortable. Her communication was proactive, reliable, and genuinely caring throughout the entire week. Laurel was very nice and attentive about our Cats. She truly did care about the wellbeing and health of all three. She went above and beyond with her services. She made sure all cats were comfortable. Apparently, our cat Tubbs likes to be groomed with the brush she left us (we have been through so many and he hated them all!) Needless to say, we will be booking with Laurel again!
Kimberly took wonderfully care of our elderly cat while we were away. I loved her daily updates , photos and report cards. JR was awesome! My 2 golden retrievers were well taken care of. Updates included lots of pictures and verification of all the important things to make me feel totally at ease while they were in her care. I always knew they got outside exercise, had water, got some extra love and hugs and were fed. I came home to happy pups. Will definitely book JR again.
Christine did an amazing job taking special care, giving meds to our senior pup! Our pup can be tricky to give meds to, Christine was gentle and patient, and was able to give them to her. Christine was also great with communication and updates, and was very thoughtful in making sure Daisy was comfortable with her drop-in visits! I would definitely recommend Christine for helping with any pet needs.
Stephanie was a spectacular caretaker for our kitty Zeus. It was our first time leaving Zeus alone for more than 2 days and I had peace of mind with Stephanie. She was EXTREMELY caring and attentive to Zeus. She kept us up to date with multiple texts and pictures, and she even brought him different treats and games to play with. I highly recommend Stephanie for looking after your baby. SHE IS AMAZING.
