About: I’ve owned and trained my own dogs, including working dogs, and have developed a strong understanding of dog behavior, training, and motivation. I take a thoughtful, structured approach to care—prioritizing each dog’s safety, happiness, and individual needs. I’ve also spent significant time researching canine behavior, which helps me read body language, manage different temperaments, and create a positive, low-stress environment. I have my own friendly, well-trained dog who gets along well with other dogs and will typically join me on walks and drop-in visits. If you prefer solo care for your dog, I’m happy to accommodate that with advance notice. For house sitting, my dog would need to come with me, but I always ensure a smooth and respectful introduction so both dogs are comfortable. I’m available to care for your dog on Friday evenings and throughout the weekends, and I’m flexible within that time for services such as walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I enjoy spending that time actively engaging with dogs through exercise, play, and attention tailored to their needs. If I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure their core needs are consistently met throughout the day—exercise, play, feeding, and regular bathroom breaks. I focus on keeping dogs both physically active and mentally engaged through walks, outdoor time, and interactive play tailored to their energy level and personality. I also pay close attention to their routine and comfort, making sure they feel safe, settled, and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: Hi, I’m Cortney! 😊 I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my giant Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, daily routines, leash handling, enrichment, and understanding different personalities and behaviors. I’ve also cared for cats for many years and enjoy learning each cat’s routine and what helps them feel comfortable. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including dogs who may be anxious, shy, or need a little extra patience when meeting new people. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of drop-in visits and walks throughout the week, including most weekends. Whether you need planned pet care or last-minute help, I’m happy to help whenever I can! I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I do my best to make each visit feel familiar, relaxed, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I also love sending photo updates and messages throughout visits so you can follow along and see how your pet is doing. 😊 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. On warmer days, I pay close attention to pavement temperatures and how each pet is handling the heat. If it’s too hot for a walk, I’ll prioritize a safe potty break and use the rest of our time for play, enrichment, or keeping them company indoors. ☀️🐾

About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! I feel very comfortable and confident taking care of dogs since I have always been around them growing up. My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! I really love dogs and cats and it would be a really amazing and fun opportunity for me to help take care of your cats and pups! :)

About: I grew up with multiple Rottweilers which is why I love taking care of dogs, especially bigger breeds. I’ve dog sat for many different friends and family members. I even temporarily fostered a German shepherd who is now living with his forever home. I’m currently working part time, but will be starting a remote job soon which will open my schedule up almost completely for Day sitting or extended-stays even on short notice. I would be able to take your dog out for potty or walks as many times as they need or requested. I make sure to listen and follow any specific instructions that the owner gives me. I know that every dog and cat is different and it’s important to cater to their needs.

About: I’ve cared for pets since I was a teenager, and I’ve worked with almost every type of animal. I have experience with many dog breeds — Rottweiler, Labrador, German Shepherd, Husky, Pomeranian and others. I’ve also taken care of cats of all kinds, including long–hair, short–hair and hairless breeds. I previously had small pets of my own (rabbits, hamsters, decorative rats), and I feel very confident handling them. I also worked in an exotic animal center, where I cared for reptiles and mammals such as pythons, lemurs, raccoons and small monkeys. I’m patient, calm, and attentive to each animal’s needs. I have my own adopted kitten now 🐱. Your pet will be treated with love, respect and gentle care — just like my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I have plenty of time for drop-ins, walks and daily check-ins, and I always make sure your pet gets my full attention during each visit. I’m reliable, punctual, and able to adjust to different routines and feeding schedules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow your instructions carefully to keep everything safe and consistent with your pet’s routine. I’m calm, attentive, and very respectful of each animal’s comfort level. I make sure doors are secured, food and water are given as directed, and I keep the space clean before I leave. At home, I take excellent care of my own cat — she has plenty of toys, enrichment activities, high-quality balanced food and a clean, safe environment. I always pay attention to her health and needs, and I bring the same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after.

About: I have a Husky-Malamute mix at home, and they're known for being one of the most high energy dogs. I can take care of your dog for sure. I am a college-freshman at NYU who’s looking to make some extra money whilst I’m on break back home, and what better way to make money than to take care of your dog! I am timely, and will make sure I give full attention to your pet. I’ll pick up after them, clean them if needed, and feed them all in a punctual manner. I’ll take this job very very seriously if you pick me! I'm back home for the summer, book any type of services available! I am always looking for ways to take care of pets, so anything works. Caring for my Husky-Malamute, I make sure to give him as much attention and play as possible. I love taking long walks (as long as your dog wants), and taking time to stroll around. I know how to avoid aggressive dogs, and also train aggression, as my dog also used to be aggressive. I will feed them on time, let them out to relieve themselves as much as possible, and be attentive to their needs!

Laurel helped me cover a phase when I was between dog walkers. My dog , AVA, is a shy type, but Laurel was very patient and got Ava out for longer walks that I expected, which was great ! Laurel sent videos and the report card of the walks was a nice feature. Ava warmed up to Laurel quickly, and I appreciated Laurel' flexibility scheduling and navigating the Rover site. Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Bothell. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Bothell.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bothell. On Rover:

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
