About: I have experience caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I understand that every dog is different and adjust to what they need. I treat every dog like they are my own and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I am available for house sitting during the week and on weekends. Weekends work best for me. I also offer drop in visits and walks. I am a student, so I may be gone for a few hours during weekdays for classes, but I plan my schedule around the dogs I am caring for. I make sure they are let out, fed on time, exercised, and given consistent attention every day. I prioritize being back as soon as possible so they are not alone longer than necessary.
“Elaine is wonderful! My dog just goes bananas when she arrived for walks and he comes home totally exhausted. She is really comfortable with him as a large dog and is really easy to work with. Excellent communication and just overall a great find.”

About: Hello! I’m Lisa, and I am a teacher, love to be outside walking or running, and value my time with loved ones. I will love your family member 🐶 while they are here, like they are my own. I have had dogs for most of my life, and can’t wait to meet yours! I do work full time, Monday-Friday, from 8-4. We I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sulley, who loves dogs and people. Your dog will be home without me from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. I will come home during my lunch break (I work 5 minutes away) each day for a potty break and loves. Our dog, Sulley, is our family member! I walk or run Sulley regularly around our neighborhood, which would be the same for your dog (depending on your wishes, of course). While your dog is in my care, they will only be left home while I am at work. I will either be home or take them with me, otherwise. I have two teenage daughters who are caring, gentle, and love dogs (and cats, but I’m allergic 😉). They will be around, but I will be caring for your pet.
“Shae was a great dog sitter. Starting from the meet and greet, she was very thorough and professional. She showed us the Rover app. We loved being able to "see" what they were up to every day. The pictures were comforting to us while we were out of town. I would recommend Shae to anyone who wants a reliable and professional animal lover to care for their pet. ”

“Anja is great with my rowdy 9 year old lab! Will totally book again. Super communicative about what my dog tried to eat (my dog has pica) and it’s really appreciated. Great communication and super nice!”

“Sarah is great! You can tell she really cares about our dogs and their happiness. She is a great communicator and we feel lucky to have access to her services. Thank you!!”

“Our dog Kuma loves Michael! We are super lucky to have him on our team. Michael is flexible and a great communicator! Kuma is a large, 1 year old golden retriever with quite a bit of puppy energy and some habits we're still trying to work out, and Michael is so patient and kind with him. Highly recommend booking Michael!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for the past 10 years through Rover and personal friends. My previous roommate’s dog Bernie was my best pal. We would go running together multiple days per week and play in the backyard every night together. I currently work full time, but fully remote with a flexible schedule. Since I am fully remote I have a more flexible schedule to dog walk and pet sit. I travel for work often, so adhoc (non-recurring) bookings work best for my schedule! I have a fully fenced backyard. I’m happy to take care of your dog for however works best for him or her - whatever you recommend is alright with me!

About: I’ve lived with pets for over 10 years, including two beloved cats, one of whom I cared for through illness until the end; and a dog I raised from a puppy. I have experience with both young and elderly pets, and I’m especially skilled with cats, including administering medication and injections for conditions like cancer. I provide calm, loving care and companionship, your pet will be treated like family.(提供中文服务) I’m a freelancer who works from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily adjust my day to care for your pet’s needs, whether that’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just some quiet companionship. I’m around most of the time, which means your pet will get consistent attention and care whenever they need it. I live in a spacious home where pets can relax in a private room or explore a full floor freely. Gabi was wonderful with our dog. She was punctual to the schedule and provided great updates and photos. Gabi is calm and kind with our sometimes reactive dog. We will definitely be booking her again! Thank you Gabi for removing the stress of worrying about our dog while we were away.

Linh did an amazing job walking Rocky while I was away. She picked him up every day, took him for a full walk (often longer than scheduled), and treated him with so much care. My family felt very comfortable having her help. Truly grateful for her reliability and kindness
Hanyu was wonderful! She sent plenty of photo updates and left incredibly detailed, sweet notes each day. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Lyra was in excellent hands and truly enjoying her walks. I highly recommend Hanyu and will definitely be booking with her again!

Sianna was very thorough in her review of Greta's needs, and asked really great questions about how to best care for our dog while we were away. I felt confident I could leave my high energy pup in Sianna's care. Sianna communicates well and is very clear about the services she is able to provide. She's kind and friendly and clearly loves dogs. Thank you Sianna!

Angelica was wonderful! She was right on time, very friendly, and had such great energy. It is clear she has a natural way with dogs. These walks were meant to help Buddy get to know her before she dog sits for us, and they went perfectly. Angelica asked all the right questions, which showed how thoughtful and attentive she is when it comes to caring for pets. She was really sweet with Buddy and took the time to make sure he felt comfortable. We really liked her and got along great, and Buddy clearly enjoyed his time with her. We’re feeling very confident about the dog sit!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
