“Kyle is dependable and knowledgeable about animals. Our 2 labradoodles really enjoyed their walks with him in Richmond Beach. Easy going and calm with the pups, who can get pretty excitable. He showed me a harness that would help with one of our pups pulling, so he goes the extra mile.”

“Kendra followed the instructions that I gave her perfectly! I felt super comfortable leaving a key for her to walk my dog, she sent me photos after the walk while I was at work which was super comforting. She even put eye drops in her eye. I would 100% book her again.”

About: Hi, I'm Leah, and as you might have guessed, I am a huge pet lover! I've been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by sweet furry friends my entire life - growing up with everything from dogs and cats to iguanas and birds - and I have adored every single one of them. As an adult, I raised an adorable corgi and currently share my home with two sweet black cats. I hold a very special place in my heart for senior pets and for those who need a little extra love & care. My beloved corgi, Bamboo, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge, had Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). Caring for him taught me so much about keeping pups cozy, happy, and comfortable. I truly miss him and miss having a dog in my life, so walking and looking after yours would bring me so much joy! I'm also a very proud cat mom to two precious black kitties who have taught me so much. My senior cat, Kanga, has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), which has made me well-versed in creating peaceful, stress-free environments for our feline friends. My other kitty, Kiwi, has asthma, so I'm completely comfortable administering medications, including inhalers and oral treatments. Since I'm self-employed as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible and I'd love to chat about how I can help. If you happen to be looking for a house-sitter, I would truly love to help you out. I'm available for quick stays of 2 to 4 days at a time. I look forward to hearing from you, and tell your furry friend I said hi, too 🖤 Since I work from home as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible! I can easily adjust my time to fit whatever works best for you and your pet. If I stay at your home, I'll be there to keep your furry friend company throughout most of the day since my work travels with me. Please rest assured that I will deeply respect your space, follow all of your household rules, and keep everything safe and secure (like food that is toxic to pets). I love building a bond of trust with pets by letting them set the pace for interactions.
“We love Holly and so does our dog, Willow! Holly is always prompt with her timing and communicates clearly and, always, with pictures from how her time with Willow was and how Willow is doing. Very grateful for Holly and any humans + fur kids would be lucky to work with her.”

“Anna was the perfect choice for us when we needed someone to check in our our 6 month old puppy while we were out for a long day. Anna was easy to communicate with and even took pictures from their wall and play time together. Thank you Anna!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals my entire life. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with almost every pet imaginable—including dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, guinea pigs, and reptiles. No matter the species, I know how to keep them happy, safe, and thriving. I understand completely how nerve-wracking it can be to trust a stranger with your beloved pet. They aren’t just animals; they are cherished members of your family. That is why I treat every pet in my care with the same love and devotion I give my own. When your pet is with me, they aren't just being watched—they are hanging out with a new best friend. I will always go above and beyond to give you absolute peace of mind and give your pet the best experience possible! Pet care is the focal point of my day. Because I don't host animals at my house, my schedule is completely open to travel to your home to care for your pets exactly where they are most comfortable. I structure my routine around your pet's needs—whether that means midday drop-ins, morning walks, or staying overnight at your place to keep them company. Because I am mobile, I can seamlessly fit into your pet's established routine for feeding, playtime, and potty breaks without disrupting their peace of mind. During drop-ins or overnight stays, I stick strictly to your instructions for feeding, exercise, and playtime. I always ensure fresh water is available, litter boxes or cages are kept clean, and gates/doors are securely locked. I am also highly respectful of your property—leaving your home exactly as I found it. You can expect regular photo and text updates so you know your pets (and your home) are in great hands!
About: We have a medium-sized dog that plays well with dogs of all sizes! I’ve grown up taking care of our family pets, and customers and friends’ pets are treated like family members. I work from home full time, and I can provide reliable care with proper breaks. I believe socializing, mental stimulation and playing outside during the day are vital to the overall health of pets. I take care of dogs at our home and can offer pick up and drop off for a fee. Dogs have an outdoor and indoor water dispenser and they can be fed separately if needed.
About: I have my own cats and taking care of a lot of dogs before including friends’ and neighbors’. Enjoy to stay my cats and dogs and they made my day. I also have experience in reptile. I work remote and I can stay with them all day. My day usually start at 10am and ends at 12-1am. My work is not long hours work. I have a fenced yard to let your dog play and I live close to the park. I can bring them to the park and let them have a outside break every 2-4 hours
About: I have experience with pup's big and small! Whether it's walking my girlfriend's reactive 80lb Pitbull, or making sure my 10lb cat is spoiled rotten, I have a lifetime of experience taking care of animals! I'll make sure your pup is the star of the show during our time together, sniff walks, enrichment or a leisurely stroll for an elderly friend, it's all in my wheelhouse! I have summer off from school so my days are wide open so I can make your pup my number one priority! Once I am back to school in September I will still be able to make time for your pup between homework and classes as I'm a full-time student which gives plenty of free time (don't tell my professors!) I have experience with aggressive and reactive dogs, so I am observant and ready to be a step ahead of any kind of trouble! I treat your pet like my own so safety is always my number one priority at all times, whether we are walking and move to the other side of the street if an unknown dog is approaching, or on high alert for E-bikes zooming down the path, your pet is always safe with me!
About: I started caring for animals when I was still at school. I am from Ukraine and my first animals were stray dogs and cats, I treated them, fed and cared for them as best I could. At home we had 2 cats and 2 dogs. My family and I moved to America a year ago and I have a daughter who is 3 years old and a son who just turned 4 months old, so I am at home all the time and would love to take care of your pets. I currently have a baby and a toddler as well, for this reason I prioritize caring for cats or smaller, less active dogs. I am available from 8am–8pm, Monday through Friday, sometimes with flexibility on evenings or weekends depending on my family’s schedule. I always make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve, even with my own little ones around. I live in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a school where I can walk my kids and your pets. There’s a nice place near our house where we can go out too, so dogs and cats get fresh air and a change of scenery. My home is calm and safe, with plenty of space for your pet to relax and feel comfortable.
About: Travel plans but can’t bring your furry best friend? No problem! This will be your pets second home! My home is a fun, safe and comfortable environment for your furry one to stay at and we are excited to have you! 🐾🐶 I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and breeds since the early age of 12. My family would get a new puppy during the summer months where I was home during work hours and had the full responsibility of feeding, potty breaks, play and trained basic obedience. I have always loved living in a home surrounded by dogs giving them unlimited belly rubs, snuggles, and taking them to play. Today is no different as I have my own dog Kronos and work closely with a professional dog training business to help assist in boarding, basic obedience training, dog walking and bathing when needed. I work full time only 3 days a week, giving me 4 days a week of unlimited time for me to spend taking care of your furry best friend for you. I host a small amount of pets at a time to ensure quality time and care for your pet(s). BEFORE BOOKING: I would love to meet with you and your furry best friend(s) first to ensure it will be a good fit for you :) I currently work full time only 3 days a week, therefore I have unlimited time 4 days out of the week to care for your furry best friend. CALENDAR AVAILABILITY: Please note the Rover Calendar is set for my available days for drop in visits and dog walking services only. If you are inquiring about boarding directly please message me as I have unlimited and open availability 24/7 7 days a week at this time. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard for easy potty breaks and play. There is a small park area in my neighborhood as well. My neighborhood is friendly and easily accessible for walks. I live close to a lake so leisurely dog walks and/or play can take place there as well. I own a dog pacer (dog treadmill) if poor weather conditions are in place so your furry friend can still get their exercise in and their energy out. My own dog who is a service dog is fun, high-energy and loves to play, run, and go for walks so we likely would be accompanied by him too. My vehicle is dog friendly with a kennel in the back for safety during car rides to go places if you and your furry friend prefer. I have kennels in my home and elevated dog beds to ensure a safe place for your furry friend to go. For boarding, your dog MUST be crate/kennel trained. This is import to ensure safety, decompression, rest and a less stressful environment in an unfamiliar place.

Gargi did a great job walking Lucky! She’s always on time, easy to communicate with, and clearly cares about and loves animals. She sent us very detailed feedback and plenty of pictures after the visit, which gave me such peace of mind. I’d definitely ask her to watch my pup again!

Joseph was a wonderful companion for our dogs while we were away. He was able to manage their high energy on walks and enjoyed keeping them company at home. It’s true peace of mind to have a caring human with your fur family when you travel. Bonus: He sent amazing photos daily which was a treat to see the adventures they had. Highly recommend!

Kendra followed the instructions that I gave her perfectly! I felt super comfortable leaving a key for her to walk my dog, she sent me photos after the walk while I was at work which was super comforting. She even put eye drops in her eye. I would 100% book her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
