“Kyle is a pro! He showed up on time, my dog instantly took to him. Kyle has a very calm steady energy that made my dog feel safe and at ease. I was looking for someone strong that could handle my high energy, extremely strong pit bull. He was great with my dog and gave me confidence that he could handle and keep my dog safe. I'm looking forward to Kyle being our go-to dog walker.”

“Daniel was great with Benni (who can be shy with new people). She was happy and excited after her walk - thank you very much! We definitely look forward to more walks with Daniel!”

“Lily has been walking our 1-year-old dog, Valkyrie, for a few months. She is very reliable, flexible with her schedule, and always sends a picture. Valkyrie has gotten noticeably better at taking walks - building confidence and pulling less. We really appreciate Lily and look forward to continue working with her!”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with a Lab, which shaped my early understanding of dog behavior and care. As an adult, I raised my own dog, Juniper, from a puppy. She’s a rescue, and working with her has given me hands-on experience with training, routines, and daily care. I also regularly foster dogs through various Seattle area rescues, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments. Because my own dog can be fearful at first, I understand the importance of moving at each dog’s pace, building trust, and creating a calm, positive environment. Juniper is friendly and does great with foster dogs, and my older cat tends to keep to himself when we have other pets or guests over. I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention throughout the day and won’t be left alone for more than three hours. I also have a crate available if that’s part of your dog’s routine. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, providing a safe and peaceful space for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. I treat every dog like my own and will make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and thoughtful care while you’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs, routine, and personality so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In my home: Dogs stay in a safe, calm environment with plenty of attention throughout the day since I work from home. I follow your dog’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. They will have access to a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, along with a cozy indoor space to relax. I can also accommodate crate training and any specific routines your dog is used to. In your home: When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and playtime. In all cases, I provide regular updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for.
“Anna was the perfect choice for us when we needed someone to check in our our 6 month old puppy while we were out for a long day. Anna was easy to communicate with and even took pictures from their wall and play time together. Thank you Anna!”

About: Travel plans but can’t bring your furry best friend? No problem! This will be your pets second home! My home is a fun, safe and comfortable environment for your furry one to stay at and we are excited to have you! 🐾🐶 I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and breeds since the early age of 12. My family would get a new puppy during the summer months where I was home during work hours and had the full responsibility of feeding, potty breaks, play and trained basic obedience. I have always loved living in a home surrounded by dogs giving them unlimited belly rubs, snuggles, and taking them to play. Today is no different as I have my own dog Kronos and work closely with a professional dog training business to help assist in boarding, basic obedience training, dog walking and bathing when needed. I work full time only 3 days a week, giving me 4 days a week of unlimited time for me to spend taking care of your furry best friend for you. I host a small amount of pets at a time to ensure quality time and care for your pet(s). BEFORE BOOKING: I would love to meet with you and your furry best friend(s) first to ensure it will be a good fit for you :) I currently work full time only 3 days a week, therefore I have unlimited time 4 days out of the week to care for your furry best friend. CALENDAR AVAILABILITY: Please note the Rover Calendar is set for my available days for drop in visits and dog walking services only. If you are inquiring about boarding directly please message me as I have unlimited and open availability 24/7 7 days a week at this time. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard for easy potty breaks and play. There is a small park area in my neighborhood as well. My neighborhood is friendly and easily accessible for walks. I live close to a lake so leisurely dog walks and/or play can take place there as well. I own a dog pacer (dog treadmill) if poor weather conditions are in place so your furry friend can still get their exercise in and their energy out. My own dog who is a service dog is fun, high-energy and loves to play, run, and go for walks so we likely would be accompanied by him too. My vehicle is dog friendly with a kennel in the back for safety during car rides to go places if you and your furry friend prefer. I have kennels in my home and elevated dog beds to ensure a safe place for your furry friend to go. For boarding, your dog MUST be crate/kennel trained. This is import to ensure safety, decompression, rest and a less stressful environment in an unfamiliar place.
“Eric has been working with Colton my 4 year old Australian Shepherd for the past two weeks now. I’m impressed with his communication about how Colton does on walks and at parks and the great pictures! Happy to have him and would recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Leah, and as you might have guessed, I am a huge pet lover! I've been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by sweet furry friends my entire life—growing up with everything from dogs and cats to iguanas and birds—and I have adored every single one of them. As an adult, I raised an adorable corgi and currently share my home with two sweet black cats. I hold a very special place in my heart for senior pets and for those who need a little extra love & care. My beloved corgi, Bamboo, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge, had Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). Caring for him taught me so much about keeping pups cozy, happy, and comfortable. I truly miss him and miss having a dog in my life, so walking and looking after yours would bring me so much joy! I'm also a very proud cat mom to two precious black kitties who have taught me so much. My senior cat, Kanga, has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), which has made me well-versed in creating peaceful, stress-free environments for our feline friends. My other kitty, Kiwi, has asthma, so I'm completely comfortable administering medications, including inhalers and oral treatments. Since I'm self-employed as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible and I'd love to chat about how I can help. I look forward to hearing from you, and tell your furry friend I said hi, too 🖤 Since I work from home as an artist, my schedule is wonderfully flexible! I can easily adjust my time to fit whatever works best for you and your pet. If I stay at your home, I'll be there to keep your furry friend company throughout most of the day since my work travels with me. Please rest assured that I will deeply respect your space, follow all of your household rules, and keep everything safe and secure (like food that is toxic to pets). I love building a bond of trust with pets by letting them set the pace for interactions.
About: I have experience with pup's big and small! Whether it's walking my girlfriend's reactive 80lb Pitbull, or making sure my 10lb cat is spoiled rotten, I have a lifetime of experience taking care of animals! I'll make sure your pup is the star of the show during our time together, sniff walks, enrichment or a leisurely stroll for an elderly friend, it's all in my wheelhouse! I have summer off from school so my days are wide open so I can make your pup my number one priority! Once I am back to school in September I will still be able to make time for your pup between homework and classes as I'm a full-time student which gives plenty of free time (don't tell my professors!) I have experience with aggressive and reactive dogs, so I am observant and ready to be a step ahead of any kind of trouble! I treat your pet like my own so safety is always my number one priority at all times, whether we are walking and move to the other side of the street if an unknown dog is approaching, or on high alert for E-bikes zooming down the path, your pet is always safe with me!

About: I have had many animals, including dogs, cats, fish, and Guinea pigs! I love all breeds and can assist with many different kinds of needs! I have lots of experience with extended overnight house and animal sitting. I'm working part-time at the moment and would love to do short check-ins or longer visits if needed. I have a love of dogs and like to take walks and get outside to exercise. I am comfortable spending the night in new places and have an extensive list of care questions that I thoroughly review with each client before a sit or walk. “Kaylie takes such good care of my picky, dainty little Moo. She takes great photos, and my Moo absolutely loves her (as do I!). I can't recommend her more highly. I will continue to book her as much as I can!”
About: I started caring for animals when I was still at school. I am from Ukraine and my first animals were stray dogs and cats, I treated them, fed and cared for them as best I could. At home we had 2 cats and 2 dogs. My family and I moved to America a year ago and I have a daughter who is 3 years old and a son who just turned 4 months old, so I am at home all the time and would love to take care of your pets. I currently have a baby and have a toddler as well, for this reason I prioritize caring for cats or not large and active dogs. I am available from 8am-8pm Monday through Friday, I can sometimes be home on Saturday and Sunday as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a school where I can walk my kids and your pets. There's a place near our house where we can go out too.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Edmonds
Joseph was a wonderful companion for our dogs while we were away. He was able to manage their high energy on walks and enjoyed keeping them company at home. It’s true peace of mind to have a caring human with your fur family when you travel. Bonus: He sent amazing photos daily which was a treat to see the adventures they had. Highly recommend!

Kendra followed the instructions that I gave her perfectly! I felt super comfortable leaving a key for her to walk my dog, she sent me photos after the walk while I was at work which was super comforting. She even put eye drops in her eye. I would 100% book her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
