About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: I was a certified veterinary technician for 4+ years with experience in small, large, and exotic animal care. I also have 2+ years of experience working for a boarding/doggy daycare and grooming company. I regularly dog and cat sit for friends and coworkers. I am free for early morning, lunchtime, and evening walks and drop in’s! I am also available anytime on the weekends as well! I enjoy being able to split my days between work and animal care. I always start with a meet-and-greet with the pet and family beforehand as it builds trust with the owners and the pet. I also have a checklist of information that I ensure is completed for both my and the families peace of mind which includes information like an emergency contacts, allergies, medications, preferred potty times, and favorite toys and treats. Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me is my top priority.

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.

Walked and sitter during day, weekend, or overnight for many years. Any ages comes to such flexibility for me, huge animal lovers. Please include disability or deaf dogs since I am deaf myself and can speak pretty ok and use hands relate to communicate but very hands on. love adventures with so much of energies enough to wore out your dogs and myself end of the day when it is needed. I have a lot of patient toward dogs no matter what their personal or behaviors are , they are such adorable alike any age kids!!! animal rocks!! Such a pnw/outdoor . I am part time with some flexibility hours along my kids and their school that I have responsibilities too. Managed it alot in the past etc... plus I have suv. I have roomy suv. As alway have water bottle, water bowl, and plenty of poop bags ahead plus spill proof mats everywhere on my suv floor. Wet, muddy, dirty dogs are welcome in my suv after their play time or walking

About: Grew up on a farm with horses, raised kareem’s bear dogs as a kid! Lots of puppy training as well as. dogs of all kinds around the barn with visitors. great at training dogs to run and use the leash. I know all the best spots around seattle for dog walks and sunset gazing. i work from home full time and constantly taking my own dogs for walks! usually an shout at a park in the morning and neighboorhod school yards at night or spins around the neighborhood. making sure i follow detailed pet care instructions, sending constant photos, lots of toys and snacks to keep them entertained. Current dog gets raw food twice a day.

“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them.
