“We love having a reliable and caring place for our dogs to be when we go out of town!! They always come back tired from playing with other dogs and happy. Izzy sends photos and updates us throughout the stay. Thank you!!!”

“Ashley is an incredible sitter. She took great care of our girl over the weekend. Joni loved exploring the property and making friends with the ponies and chickens. She came back to us a very happy and tired girl, and I’m sure she’s looking forward to her next getaway with Ashley!”

“Nancy took wonderful care of our chiweenie Murphy. We got frequent videos and pictures and her dog was the perfect welcome wagon. I don’t think my dog wanted to leave!”

“Julie did an amazing job taking care of Clover. She was able to deal with Clover's puppy energy. I received frequent updates and could tell that Clover was having a great time with her Golden, Honey.”

“Myron loved staying with Theresa and her family. As first time Rover users Theresa guided us along the way and sent lots of photo updates of Myron feeling right at home at doggy camp while we’re out of town. Our doggo was excited to see us but know he will miss all his new friends until next time.”

“Our little dog Sammy had a great stay with Lauren! It can be a bit scary trying to find someone that you can trust to watch your furry baby, but we found that in Lauren! She is simply amazing and truly has a heart for animals. I would highly recommend her!”
“Our doberman Ruby had a great stay with Conor and his family. I appreciated that Conor suggested a meet-up prior to our trip to make sure everyone got along. It was particularly nice knowing Ruby was around kids since she loves being with kids when at home. Conor was also kind enough to send several pictures and updates on Ruby. We will definitely re-book with Conor next time we need help with Ruby.”

“This was my four year old doggo’s first time being cared for in someone else’s home and I was worried he would be home sick. But he came home exhausted and happy so I am very grateful for his great time.”

“Alana took amazing care of my miniature while we were away for the long weekend. We got lots of great updates throughout his stay. He was sad to leave at the end of his stay but hopefully he can stay with Alana again.”

“Matthew was amazing with my very nervous and anxious dog, Tucker. We did a test night before a longer trip, and while Tucker was hesitant and unsure at first (including some growling and barking), Matthew was incredibly patient and kind. He let Tucker set the pace, waited for him to feel comfortable, and never rushed the process. While we were away for over a week, Matthew regularly sent updates and photos, which was reassuring. It was wonderful to see Tucker gradually looking more relaxed, confident, and comfortable in his care. Seeing that progress made a huge difference for my peace of mind. I would absolutely love to board Tucker with Matthew again in the future and highly recommend him, especially for dogs who may need extra patience and understanding.”

“Our little guy had a great time with Ali's sweet family--even got to participate in the doggie birthday party for their pup, Pepe! :) I would absolutely recommend, very trustworthy and communicative!”

“They were absolutely amazing with my dog Percy. I got lots of pictures and they took really great care of him. He got snuggles and walks and toys! 10/10, they were incredible. Thank you for taking care of Percy!”

“Our dog has stayed with Melodie twice. She and her husband, Ryan, are very nice people who love dogs. They have a large, fenced yard where the pups can run around and play together. They send a lot of pictures keep us updated on how things are going while we are away. Our dog comes home tired and happy. We are so glad we found Melodie and Ryan.”

“Cynthia was really communicative and flexible with my schedule. She also provided a great place for my curious dog to explore and play, so he seemed really happy with his stay.”

“I cannot recommend P&J enough, truly. They went above and beyond for me and my 2 pups during the snowstorm when I had to stay at work. They took them on so many walks and park visits, and sent pictures the entire time they had them. I have never had a better experience on Rover or with ANY other petsitting service. I would never use anyone else again if they are available! My pups didn't even want to come home with me, they had so much fun! I am beyond grateful that I found them. What a relaxing experience- I felt so secure and comfortable knowing the pups were in good hands. Thank you SO MUCH P&J!”

“Jared took great care of Lucca while I was always on a trip for two weeks. I received regular updates and photos, and I can tell Lucca had a great time hanging out with Jared and his family when I picked her up.”

“Ai took great care of my dog Jasper while I was away for a week. Although he was a bit resistant at first, Ai got Jasper to warm up to her quickly and he got along well with her cats. She provided regular updates about how he was doing and sent me lots of pictures. Ai is also so thoughtful in wanting her guests to be comfortable that she asked for Jasper to arrive a little earlier than my booking to help him settle in before I was away and harder to reach. She was also very gracious in transferring care to my friends who watched Jasper for me for the remainder of my trip. I would 100% book with Ai again and highly recommend her to board your pets.”

“I would 100% recommend Michelle and Brian. I am a person who never wants to leave my dog with anyone, and if I have to, I worry the entire the time. Newton stayed with Michelle and Brian for over two weeks and they took such great care of him. He became best friends with their adorable dog Ari and played with other little dogs they watch (Theo!) Michelle & Brian were amazing with communication, sending me photos and updates every day. It is clear that they love dogs and, from now on, I will always have them watch Newton. :)”

“Lauren took great care of my cat and took lots of pictures. I could tell my kitty felt right at home :) I would certainly trust Lauren to take care of any of my pets.”

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
