About: I've cared for pets such as cats, small dogs, reptiles (e.g. lizards and turtles), fish, rabbits, and birds for family, friends, and clients. Several of those animals had special needs due to their age and/or health and required things like shots, oral medications and massage. People ask me to tend to their "animal kids" because I'm reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. Heck, Animal Planet even featured me, back in 2010, on their TV show "Cats 101" on a segment about Devon Rex cats that paint! I'm a former volunteer for the Humane Society and a pet shelter, where I obtained my own 3 cats (now age 14) after foster parenting their mom and siblings. I'm also mom to a 1-year-old Cavalier King Charles dog that I groom and train myself. I'd love to take care of your pets to put your mind at ease while you're away. I'm fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Serving the vicinity of Kenmore and Bothell. I am happy to send you photos of your pet(s) during my visits. I am also available for other tasks such as watering plants and taking in your mail/newspapers. I am available holidays and most other days except Thursdays. For dog boarding, I work from home and am home most of the day except for errands a few times each week of 0-2 hours (and occasional errands of up to 3 hours). I care for pets in their own homes, and I’m also available to board small- to medium-sized dogs (up to two dogs from the same family) in my home. I talk to animals in a calm, soothing voice, which I find helps me build trust and connect with them, especially timid or nervous pets, in non-threatening way. While you’re away, I’ll send you photos and updates about your pet, their routines, and their environment so you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your pet is well cared for. I often send clients photos of their pets eating their food and treats, drinking, playing, and enjoying belly rubs and neck scratches. For cats, I also send photos before and after cleaning the litter box so you can see that I’m staying on top of their care and daily routines. DOG BOARDING: I have a fully fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood next to a golf course near Lake Washington. It’s a particularly calm setting for dogs who are afraid of loud noises, such as fireworks. We also have a gated deck where dogs can safely relax and enjoy some sunshine. My own dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, takes potty breaks about every two hours, so I’m happy to provide frequent potty breaks for your dog, too. At night, your dog(s) will sleep in a quiet spot inside their crate, which you provide along with any bedding so they are in a cosy space with familiar scents for their comfort. If your senior dog has trouble walking on hard floors: Our adjoined living and dining rooms (and access to deck and backyard) are carpeted, whereas our kitchen and front entryway (and access to food and neighborhood walks) are tiled or hardwood. Thus, we can assist your dog when they need to walk on the hard floors.

Christina and Okta are so great at caring for our aging dog! They are very patient with him and all his quirks, and they are so kind. From the moment we met, I could tell they genuinely love animals and would take great care of my fur baby. Christine was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! We were nervous about leaving him overnight, but Christine was so patient, kind, and caring. She went above and beyond to make sure Mochi was comfortable and happy, and she sent us lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay. Yuliia was absolutely wonderful with Rudi! From the very beginning, she was incredibly warm, communicative, and attentive, and it was so clear how genuinely she and her family cared for him. She sent us lots of photos and videos throughout his stay, and Rudi looked so happy, relaxed, and completely at home with them. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. By the end of his stay, it honestly felt like he had become part of their family! We came home to a very happy pup. Kari was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of Ophelia and made sure she got plenty of walks, fetch, playtime, and love. She was an excellent communicator and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. In every single picture, Ophelia looked so happy, relaxed, and content—it was clear she felt completely comfortable with Kari. I felt confident knowing Ophelia was in such caring and attentive hands. We would absolutely book with Kari again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pup!
My dog was really happy to see Nancy again! She settled in comfortably before long at all, and seemed to really have a blast playing with her friend Johnny. He is the sweetest and a good host to other dogs! Nancy is great to work with, including going out of her way to be helpful with scheduling, and I can tell my dog is well cared-for with her.
Dasha is top tier dogsitter. She took care of and boarded Bella, my senior dog, a 17 yo furbaby, who is very high needs. She was meticulous with following the detailed instructions for Bella. She was very caring and compassionate as well as patient, meeting all of Bella's needs and going above and behind in the level of care asked of her. I AM SO VERY APPRECIATIVE OF, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND, DASHA.
Lauren was amazing and provided a great environment for Riker to play, rest, and be comfortable. I received regular updates, photos and felt comfortable that my little guy was in good hands.
