“We are extremely happy with the care our pet sitter and this wonderful family . From the moment we met them, we felt reassured, and they truly exceeded our expectations. They took such loving and thoughtful care of Prince, treating him like their own. He was not just looked after, but genuinely happy—getting plenty of exercise with runs, lots of affection, and constant attention. We especially appreciated how neat and clean they kept him and all his belongings. Their beautiful gals took wonderful care. Prince can be a bit of a fussy eater and needs some encouragement during mealtime, but they handled that with great patience and care, making sure he was well-fed and comfortable. They truly went above and beyond, taking care of him even more than we had asked. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be going back to them again!”

“Jenny is excellent as always. We were gone for an extended trip to the Philippines, and she provided regular updates and cute pictures of Bouncer while we were away. I also asked if she would be able to give Bouncer a bath since we were gone for a while. Jenny kindly agreed. I gave Jenny additional compensation for this. I could tell that she went above and beyond for my dog. I'll be asking Jenny again for help with Bouncer in the future!”

“Kelly & Karen were awesome! Kelly made sure to send daily photos & was very responsive overall. They were also flexible with pick up/ drop off times. Maggie enjoyed her stay!”

“Conor was great with our pup! He came home happy and tired! Conor worked with Loki on a lead, as he has always been a stronger puller, and we are very impressed by the effort and time he put in to care for our pup. We definitely recommend Conor's services.”

“The absolute best dog sitter I’ve had in a while. My pup felt so at home and had such a wonderful time. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in such capable and caring hands”

“Thank you Pheara for taking such good care of our girl Aoife. She clearly had a wonderful time. We felt so at ease being gone for so long knowing she was in good hands and company. We appreciated all the photos and videos, and spoiling our little sweet pea 😊.”

“Have used Stacey twice now for our pups and no complaints! Great at providing updates throughout the stay and accommodating to our pups needs. Thank you for your care ❤️”

“Fantastic! Lauren and Ryan cared for our dogs like they were one of their own. The dogs had so much fun they didn't want to go home. Lauren provided lots of pictures and updates every day. I liked that our dogs were able to socialize with their dogs in a big backyard. Our dogs settled right in with Lauren and Ryan after a long day of play and fun.”

“Hong and Yuchen took amazing care of our puppy Oliver! They treated him the same as their own pets with tons of attention and affection! He loved his time there and I was so happy to have him so well taken care of. They sent a bunch of pictures and videos of him, provided updates, and worked with me to make sure he was happy! Thanks Hong and Yuchen!”

“Great family, my wife and son are so concerned about who takes care of baby girl and this family is the one that family who we all trusted in to them. We appreciate you guys to watch or girl ❤️❤️”

“These two are all about dogs and it shows! They also took a lot of great pictures and gave us daily updates on our dog's 12 day stay which was very much appreciated.”

“Qiaohui was wonderful with our pup and made her feel just like at home. She catered to all her needs and indulgences she was used to and sent us daily photos and lovely videos. Knowing that she was well looked after made our trip more enjoyable. I know she can’t wait to stay with Qiaohui again.”

“Our senior dog Steve had a great stay with Nathan. Nathan was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond by sending us multiple picture updates each day. Our dog was well cared for and had a great time.”
About: I admit that I'm new to Rover.com but I cared for my beloved Chloe (60 lb dog) for 16 years and also dog sat for my best friend when she went out of town. Safety is incredibly important to me and I have a fully fenced, private back yard that would love to host your canine family member. I am retired now so can set my own schedule. I am home most of the time but do typically leave the house for an hour or so to exercise each day. When I'm pet sitting, your special pet will be my top priority and I will be able to work my schedule around their needs and your expectations. I have a large, fully fenced, private back yard. I do not require that your pet be crate trained as my dog (she passed away in 2024) was never crate trained. I'm ok with you simply bringing over their dog bed, but if they sleep in a crate, that's fine too. My home's environment is very safe and offers room to roam when they're outside. The one fence line that has a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground has been covered with wire mesh so even a small dog cannot get out. As a retired person, I'm able to walk your dog as many times / day as you request. As mentioned above, they'll also be free to roam the backyard and I will be with them during that time.
“Tunyi's was so far the best to board our dog and we have tried multiple dogsitters near us. She shared so many videos and pictures of our dog even without us requesting. Our dog seemed happy, comfortable and well taken care of. We will definitely consider Tunyi to watch our dog should we need help again in the future.”

“Nancy did a wonderful job of taking care of my little Murphy! She sent plenty of photos, videos and updates and even sent Murphy home with a toy that she loves. Nancy is friendly and thorough and was able to accommodate me after a different Rover cancelled on me shortly before the holidays. I can’t recommend Nancy enough!”

“Momo took great care of Nuja! Nuja had her own spacious room with a lot of cat furniture and toys, even a hanging hammock on the window, which is her favourite spot at home. Nuja needs two oral medications regularly, and usually takes a long time to adjust when boarding, but Momo made the process smooth, and with daily updates I was able to be at ease when travelling. Nuja was given the freedom to explore the rest of the house if she'd like to, and after a few days she started to explore gradually. She didn't end up having too many interactions with Momo's cat, but they were in peaceful co-existence. Would strongly recommend and book again!”

“Alexa was a fantastic care taker to my two border collies. I got frequent pictures and videos and it was clear my dogs settled in early! They were right at home. Alexa was incredibly communicative throughout their stay and I would absolutely use her again in the future. Your pets would be lucky to stay with her!”

“This was our first time leaving our two dogs while heading out on vacation, and we couldn't have been happier with Alexander and Sarah. They went above and beyond, offering flexible scheduling to match our travel plans and sending regular photo updates that put our minds at ease. Our pups were clearly treated like their own—happy, well-fed, and full of tail-wags when we picked them up. We'll absolutely book them again for any future boarding needs; they're a true gem for pet parents! Paul”

“This was our second time with Christine. She is great at following strict feeding schedules, behavioral boundaries for resouce guarding dogs, and is very adaptable and graceful with unexpected situations. Nothing negative to say.”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Brier is $60
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brier
Tenzen and his family were absolutely incredible in their care for our dog. They truly made him feel like family and allowed him to play and engaged with him in fun ways that didn’t allow him to miss home. Will be relying on them for all future dog sitting needs!

Joyce was very friendly and great with my pup. She did great at managing my pup’s medical needs. Joyce has a wonderful big fenced back yard for dogs to run around in, which was great for me since my dog can’t go on walks. She sent a few pictures and kept in touch while we were gone. She was very communicative and responsive through text. Will book with her again.

Lauren and Ryan are absolutely the best. They took excellent care of my dog Bubbles. Lauren is very communicative and sent photos and videos of my dog having a wonderful time. They have a spacious backyard for all the dogs to play and run. I would highly recommend Lauren and Ryan. Already have a rebooking set up next month!

Michelle & Brian are absolutely the best! They made leaving our 7 month old puppy for the first time the best experience possible. Michelle provides so many updates that I never had to worry. It’s easy to see they both love dogs!!! Cali loved her visit and came home one happy dog! I couldn’t recommend them enough! We feel lucky to have found them!

Ailyn was so patient and kind with Indi. It takes a little bit for my dog to come out of her shell and I could tell she was doing well with Ailyn. I loved all the pictures and reports during my trip. It was very helpful when I was missing Indi. I will be booking with Ailyn again.

Sarah was great! My dog Summer had extreme anxiety in new places so I was nervous to leave her somewhere new. Sarah patiently answered all my pre booking questions and assuaged any concerns I had. Then while Summer was staying with her I got tons of update photos! I love getting pics so much, they really make me feel less worried about leaving Summer with someone new. Sarah’s house appeared comfortable, quiet, and safe for my dog. Summer and her dog Odin got along great. I would definitely book again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
