Let us know of any special needs your dog has. Please provide your dog’s favorite food so there’s continuity between home and the visit with us. And it is always good to know any of your dog special preferences, or habits. We always like to get a rough idea of vaccination history, as well as whether there have been any incidents of fleas recently. And it’s especially important for us to know what makes your dog happy.

Lots of love for your dog — which includes lots of scratches. The sign of a good human for a dog is one that knows the right place to scratch — where it itches. Plus we talk to each dog by name. We take them on walks of course. The Burke-Gilman path is one good place for that.

We grew up with dogs and cats. From 1990 to 2009 one of us (Kelly) bred and showed Maine Coon cats in CFA until he moved to the PNW in 2009. So that’s about 20 years of constant pet experience. Since 2009 we’ve had dogs. Now we have one dog named Hazel, an eight-year old female Maltadoodle named Hazel. That is all to say we have a lot of experience with cats and dogs.
Avis
Our babies were well attended to and were as calm & contented as the day we dropped them off. Kelly & Karen are great host parents. We look forward to having them sit for us again in the future.
If I could give more stars we would. Kelly and Karen did a meet and greet with us and Ollie. You could tell right away that they are experienced and have a manner that dogs would be happy and comfortable with. Our dog doesn’t usually like other dogs other than our daughters’ dogs and Ollie was like a different dog! He was actually friendly with their dog. Kelly and Karen are true dog whisperers! We were beyond thrilled with their love of care our needy dog. They were the best and I would shout out to anyone to pick them! They had regular communication and pics for us. We will for sure be using them again!
Kelly and Karen are Great! They were so kind, understanding and careful with our 18yr old blind pup. Everything about this stay was perfect. From the meet and greet, trip pictures and vidio (he was obviously having a good time) to pickup and debrief, I would recommend these people to care for everyone's fur babies. I just hope they aren't booked solid the next time we need them.
Finding sitters who truly care about your dog is tough, but Kelly and Karen exceeded all expectations. Tony is usually a bit anxious, but Kelly makes him feel better. Their communication was excellent, and gave me update(pic/vidoes)about Tony during i was on my vacation. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy…
