LFP Paws B&B: Your Pup’s Vacation
We grew up with dogs and cats. From 1990 to 2009 one of us (Kelly) bred and showed Maine Coon cats in CFA until he moved to the PNW in 2009. So that’s about 20 years of constant pet experience. Since 2009 we’ve had dogs. Now we have one dog named Hazel, an eight-year old female Maltadoodle named Hazel. That is all to say we have a lot of experience with cats and dogs.

Kelly was just marvelous with my special needs pup Toph! My pup came back happy, well cared for, and clearly well loved. Kelly took the time to sit down and explain their methods, show me around the space and yard, talk about what their schedule and maximum doggy capacity is, take thorough notes, and talk through treats and medication and allow Toph to meet their dog. I couldn’t have asked for a better rover experience, I felt like they were so thoughtful and considerate. They even have Bluetooth tags for each dogs under their care which is so lovely. Updates and pictures provided while I was out were also a delight. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Kelly and Karen in the future for any other trips I might be taking.
Kelly and Karen cared for my pup like she was their own. They are super organized which gave me peace of mind that my dog’s dietary and medical needs would be met. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them in the future.
Another great stay for Ollie! He beyond loves his stay. He adores Kelly and Karen and his “girlfriend” Hazel. It’s amazing how well Kelly communicates with Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️
Kelly and Karen were so patient and kind with my anxious pup. They sent regular updates and made us feel at ease while we were away!
Kelly was flexible and communicative when our flights home were delayed. Really appreciated knowing Eve was taken care of when we were stressed with travel!
I really appreciated their level of communication and care for our dogs. We received photos and videos on a daily basis. The dogs seemed pleased on their return home and we felt very much at peace. Thank yall for the great service and we will definitely be coming back!

Schedule
One of us (Kelly) is currently finishing the writing of a book, so he is at home working as a writer. We are available to provide boarding for a small number of dogs on the small to medium side, most of the time.

Pets
A typical day
Lots of love for your dog — which includes lots of scratches. The sign of a good human for a dog is one that knows the right place to scratch — where it itches. Plus we talk to each dog by name. We take them on walks of course. The Burke-Gilman path is one good place for that.
