My name is Dena, and I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities: playful puppies, easygoing adults, and gentle seniors who need a little extra care. What makes me different is that I take time to truly understand each dog’s unique needs and personality. I’m patient, gentle, and dependable. I can help with basic training, follow medication routines, and provide a calm, comfortable environment for shy or nervous pups. Whether it’s belly rubs, playtime, or keeping their routine just the way you like it, I’ll make sure your dog feels loved and cared for while you’re away. Dena took such great care of Ube these past few months!
We are so lucky to have found Dena! This was the first time we boarded our current dogs, and we were incredibly nervous. Throughout their two-week stay, Dena sent us photos and videos, so we always knew how our boys were doing. When we picked them up, we expected them to be mad at us, but instead they seemed happy and not stressed. We think that speaks volumes about the quality of care Dena provides. She even checked in on them a few days after we got home! Dena was always quick to respond to our messages, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We don't know when our next trip will be, but we hope Dena will be available. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for great care for their pets!
This was our third time having our dog stay for a few days with Dena while we were out of town. She is wonderful and sends lots of photos and updates throughout the day and we can tell our doggie is a happy girl and enjoyed her time at Dena’s house. Thanks again!
Can't express how grateful it was to find Dena. She cared for my very shy and timid dog while my partner and I were out of town for a wedding. Anola seemed great, Dena sent pictures daily and Anola seemed content and happy during her time there.

My dog Daisy was so happy to see Dena a second time, just wiggling like crazy when we arrived. Daisy seems to be very comfortable with Dena, so Daisy was safe and happy even though she can be a little nervous around other dogs. Dena sent me lots of photo updates, which makes a huge difference to me as a dog mom and always makes my day! Daisy and I will both be happy to come back soon.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s home, I always treat them like part of the family. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home: I provide a calm and pet-friendly environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely — from feeding and walks to playtime and rest. I make sure there’s always fresh water, cozy spots to relax, and lots of attention and affection throughout the day. I also make sure the space is secure so they stay safe at all times. In my home, I keep the space dog-friendly — no hazards, plenty of soft spots to rest, and a peaceful atmosphere. If I’m visiting your home, I follow your instructions exactly and respect your pet’s routine and space. I always keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, and I never leave them unsupervised in unfamiliar settings. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone — and I do everything I can to earn that trust every single time.

I love keeping pets happy, active, and entertained! Depending on the pet’s energy level and personality, I adjust the activities to suit their needs. Some of the fun things I enjoy doing with them include: • Walks and outdoor play – whether it’s a relaxing stroll or a playful run, I make sure they get fresh air and exercise. • Tug-of-war, fetch, and chase games – great for burning energy and bonding. • Puzzle toys and treat games – to keep their minds sharp and curious. • Cuddle time and belly rubs – for pets who love affection and calm moments. • Photo sessions – I love capturing cute and funny moments to share with the owners! My goal is to make sure each pet feels loved, engaged, and comfortable while they’re with me.

- Before watching any pet, I like to learn as much as I can to make sure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable. It’s important for me to know: • Daily routine – feeding times, walk schedule, sleep habits, etc. • Personality – are they shy, playful, anxious, or cuddly? • Any health issues or medications – allergies, injuries, or anything medical I should be aware of. • Behavior around other animals or people – do they get along with kids, dogs, or strangers? • Triggers or fears – like loud noises, separation anxiety, or anything that might stress them. • Commands they know – and how you usually communicate with them. • House rules – are they allowed on furniture, do they need to be crated, etc. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can give them personalized and loving care. 🐾 Flea Prevention Requirement For the safety and comfort of all dogs in my care, all dogs must be on current flea prevention (such as NexGard, Simparica, Bravecto, Frontline, Advantage, etc.) before their stay. Dogs showing signs of fleas (scratching, flea dirt, or live fleas) cannot be accepted. If fleas are noticed at drop-off or during the stay, I may need to cancel the booking or require immediate flea treatment at the owner’s expense.
