FUN DOGGIE CAMPSomerset, Bellevue, WA

Hi, please read this all, thank you.

My name is Tamar and I am just an animal lover! I was born and raised on the Eastside and I know all of the awesome places to take the dogs out and play. I’m not a big fan of dog parks but we do go to Newcastle beach park several times a week. It’s technically not a dog park but there is a huge field and some trails to go on. I also enjoy taking the dogs on the trails in my neighborhood. I only go to offleash areas so if your pup cannot be trusted off leash, they will enjoy a walk with us instead.

We have a pretty busy household, pets, kids etc. we can handle a lot of responsibility. If one of your main concerns is how many dogs will I be hosting, then this might not be the best fit for you. We love hosting a group of fun pups.

The dogs are allowed on furniture and often sleep with myself or my kiddos.

My home is comfortable, large, and pet friendly! I would love for your pet to join our family in the ideal environment for comfort, safety and fun.

If you’re booking with me, here are some helpful tips. I will do drop offs as early as 7 am Mon-Fri, so if your flight is earlier than my drop off, you’ll need to book for the day before.

I’ll do pick ups until 9 pm, so if your flight gets in later, then please book through the next day.

On Sat-Sun the earliest drop off I’ll do is 9am. It is the only 2 days we get to sleep in, lol

Any questions, please reach out.

Full disclosure on your pups behaviors is much appreciated and super helpful ensuring a safe, fun stay with us.

Vaccinations records required before booking.

Loving, gentle, experienced...Olympic Hills, Seattle, WA

I love dogs! I have always lived with at least one plus cats, birds, reptiles, fish and other small creatures. I have also worked with a variety of rescues, helping walk and train dogs as well as fostering in my own home.

I live in a large, two-story house in a quiet neighborhood. I have a dog door and a large, fully fenced yard. Your dog will have a great time hanging out and playing with my very social, very friendly pups.

My goal is to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I always recommend you bring a couple familiar things (like a bed or blanket) and I try to keep their normal routine the same as they are used to. And of course, they'll get tons of love, kisses and scratches.

I have a really great roommate, Jan, I've known for over 30 years, and shes a total animal lover just like I am. She's also a 5-star Rover sitter. We co-sit together so the pups get tons of attention.

Drop-offs start at 10:30am. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Pick-ups can be as late as 12am. Arrangements may be made for later pick-ups with advance notice.

Phone calls are mandatory before all pick ups and drop offs for the pup's safety in our home.

Max weight I normally accept is under 40lbs. and/or 20" at the withers/shoulders. On the rare occasion we do take a dog in larger than 40lbs. and/or 20" withers, there will be a fee increase. Please ask for fees.

Holidays tend to be busier than normal because of our repeat clients. Only one new client is permitted during holidays.

About this sitter:

After over two years of sitting dogs in my home with my roommate, I am now also offering to care for pets in your home.

For sitting dogs in your home I am available for DAY VISITS ONLY but can NOT offer sleep over service. I will come to your home as needed to feed, care and play with your pets.

I am not only an animal lover but a responsible, dependable adult. Everything will be exactly the same in your home as you left it.

Why I love dog sitting

I have always loved dogs. I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 5yrs old. I trained and showed dalmatians for several years. I have also volunteered with several rescue organizations, walking dogs and even fostering dogs in my own home.

Meet my pets

A tortoise & geckos.

About my yard

I have a very large, fully and securely fenced (over 6ft) backyard. It is all grass and there is lots of room for them to run and play fetch. I have a dog door so they can go out for bathroom breaks. The dogs are always supervised whether it's just doing their business or out for play.

My experience administering medication

Absolutely. I can administer oral, nasal, ear, eye and injectable meds. Please ask for fees.

EXTRAORDINARY SANITARY & SOLOMatthews Beach, Seattle, WA

During these times, we are taking the utmost care to far exceed recommended sanitary measures. We wash and/or sanitize before and after each dog walk, we have disposable gloves for each walk, and disinfectant wipes and spray to wipe doorknobs, our steering wheels, floor mats, bottom of our shoes. We are sanitary head to toe & disinfect anything we touch.

And as always, we walk one dog family at a time and greatly avoid other people or dogs. It’s not 6 feet for us - it’s at least half a block.

We are taking the same precautions for housesitting and boarding.

Neither of us have been directly exposed to COVID nor exposed to anyone who has been, not anyone who has been exposed to someone who was exposed. We have also participated in the SCAN data testing and have tested negative.

We are fully stocked up with sanitizer, Lysol, gloves, Purell, shoe covers, alcohol wipes, 100% isopropyl alc, and a few N95 masks in case of emergency.

If you are mandated to work from home, please choose to give your dog the enjoyment of play and walks with us.

FYI - Our house sitting rate may appear on the high end but we are full service exclusive 24/7 for all your pet and household needs. Both Paul and Debs are available to housesit but the Rover software is only set up for 1 sitter. If you want housesitting and our calendar appears as if we are booked, please send a message and inquire about dates!)

Both of us work Rover full time to meet all your pet care needs - walking, drop-ins, park trips, boarding, and house-sitting and we are happy to coordinate transportation.

If you are looking for one or two available full time companions exclusively attending to ONLY YOUR furry family, then that is us!

One or both of us will be with our guest boarders and one or both of us can travel within a close vicinity for house-sitting. We share dog walks, drop ins, and trips to the park so that any dog we are house sitting or boarding is never left alone for more than a couple of hours max each day.

When we house sit, we "move in" to your house, and aside from errands and a few dog walks during the day, we actually LIVE with your dog, not just visit. All of our down time is spent with your dog and although we may appear to be pricier, our reviews show that our time investment is money well spent.

This goes with dogs staying at our house. We are home-bodies, so other than a few mid day walks each day, your dog is otherwise with us 20/7 every day, living with us as if they were our own.

Our full time job is to be your Exclusive Rover Companion 24/7!

>Our yard is not fenced so you can be assured your pets will be walked often, never left alone outside and never let outside without a lead

> CPR Certification

>Background Check

>Covered by Rover Premium Protection Package

>No children living in the house

>We do not own any other pets

>No smoking inside the house

>We welcome multi-dog families and ONLY your family at one time

> We walk only one dog family at a time unless pre-arranged groups

>Will take a cat if it comes with a dog-family

>Experienced with all breeds and special needs

>Experience with dogs with behavioral issues & training

>Administer medication at no extra charge - experienced with injections, drops, pills, chemotherapy, thyroid meds, etc

>Several neighborhood walks per day and trips to parks if requested

>We love our guests sleeping with us and cuddling on the furniture but will respect and follow your house rules

>Well stocked toy box and treats

>Lots of comforters and "nestling" spots around the house

> No indoor stairs (good for seniors)

>Awesome photos & tons of updates

> Extremely flexible

>Pick up and drop off service available

Bookings are *generally* 24-hour periods although we try to be flexible, so give or take a few hours is not a problem for us, as long as we can ensure that incoming/outgoing boarders aren’t “crossing paths”. If your stay is significantly over 24 hour increments, partial or full day care charges might apply, but will be discussed on a case by case basic.

We live in a daylight basement unit in a large family owned duplex style house (uncle lives upstairs). Our space is 2 bedroom, about 1200 sq ft, cozy and dog friendly. Warm in the winter and A/C during the hot summer days.

One of us can housesit and/or one or both of us will be home with our overnight guests, taking turns dropping in on pets for a visit, pickup, taking them for a walk around your neighborhood or to a dog park.

We do not split up our house and "kennel" your dogs or even just "take care" of them. They become a part of our family. That is our motivating factor in dog boarding. We have had dogs where the owners were shocked when we sent photos of their “challenging” dogs cuddled up to us almost immediately. We have a 100% success rate. We even compete with each other to see who your dog will love the most, so there is no shortage of love, affection, and spoiling!

Have a look at our photos and reviews and you can see how we have lovingly bonded with each and every dog, even surprising owners who claimed their dogs had separation anxiety or shyness.

A bit of our history….

I (Debbie) lost my German Shepherd in 2014 and my husband Paul from England misses his dogs back home. We aren't ready to get our own dog yet but we miss the company which is why we started using Rover.com. We love the companionship and bonding interaction we have with our dog visitors and have lots of repeat customers.

I have owned a husky, malamute, wolf, and german shepherd breeds for the past 20 years and worked with local dog rescue organizations to foster all breeds of dogs looking for their forever home. Paul has grown up with labs and German Shepherds and has 2 family dogs back in England.

We have lots of experience with all breeds, including those considered "challenging", special needs, geriatric, and with behavioral issues.

We take only ONE FAMILY at a time to provide companionship and care 24/7. Our ONLY job is to take care of our clients and make sure they have the best care and companionship for their entire visit.

During your pups visit, we send tons of photos and keep you updated, and you will see that your dog is comfortable, loved, and having as good a time as we are and as you are.

As we have both lost our own dogs due to illness and needing care - we are sympathetic and capable of caring for geriatric or special need dogs.

And as you can see from our profile pics, through Rover we have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs, many are now repeat customers, and we have fallen in love with each and every one of them.

We have two SUV’s for emergencies or trips to the dog park and are able to access your house for walks no matter the weather. As we don’t have a fence, pups who stay with us get several neighborhood walks each day. You can be assured your dog will never be left outside or let outside without a lead.

We are both very experienced with the "escape artist" mentality and have an entrance that has a 2-door barrier.

We have lots of repeat customers who know to book us weeks & even months in advance and if you read our reviews, you will know why. We send lots of photos, not just of your dog, but your dog WITH us so you can be assured your dog has bonded and is being loved.

We administer meds per owner instruction in food/treats, pill pockets, directly down the throat, ear drops & washes, eye drops, topical ointments and injections. We take gentle care of your special needs pups, whether that is simply meds or disabilities such as blindness or deafness as we both have experience with geriatric dogs and accompanying issues. We’ve taken care of dogs in heat, dogs in diapers. You name it, and we’ll take care of it.

We now offer house-sitting! Either one or both of us will stay with your furry family in your home, depending if we have a boarder at our house in which case one of us stays home with our boarder and one of us is dedicated to your home. Come home from your vacation to a spotless house and happy pets. We will bring in mail, take out garbage, water plants and other household chores you need done.

We are accepting new dog walking clients for either walks, drops in or exclusive trips to the park so please inquire if you have a need. We will work with you an customize a schedule & budget to fit your needs.

** To avoid scheduling mishaps or dog arrival/departures overlapping (especially as we only take one dog at a time), please note that house sitting and boardings are (typically) about 24 hours, give or take, depending on the time of day. During peak seasons depending on our schedule, we may need to enforce drop off/arrival times or a day care fee on a case by case basis in order that we don’t deny another request due to a late night pick up and then become “unbookable” to anyone for that night. We will never charge additional fees unless absolutely necessary and only if mutually agreed upon. We pride ourselves on our unconditional flexible arrivals/drop offs and that is still what we are going to aim for, but just want to give a heads up that we will need to discuss both times as well as dates when making a booking a we have become increasingly busy.) Again, this is a flexible discussion we will have only as needed.

I'll love your dog as much you do.Olympic Hills, Seattle, WA

Hi, I'm Jan. I just love being around dogs! I have 10 years experience working for an Animal Emergency Clinic and specialty vet, sterilizing surgical instruments and some tech duties (see testimonial from Dr. Daniel G.) I also sat several pets that belonged to the vets, including the clinic owner's animals.

I am very comfortable giving shots, medications, or changing bandages if needed. I also worked the puppy section in an animal shelter for about a year which was great. I had a blast every day. It was far from feeling like a job. Over the years I've even trained and shown my own puppies and adult dogs in obedience.

I have a really great roommate I've known for over 30 years. She's a total animal lover just like I am. She also happens to be a Rover sitter (Elena D., the one with over 500 5-star reviews.) We co-sit together so the pups get tons of attention.

I live in a large house two-story house in a safe neighborhood. I have a doggy door and a large fully fenced yard. I'm home all day so your fur-baby will get all the love and attention he or she needs. There is rarely a time when one of us isn't home.

I have two really awesome dogs. They're fixed, current on all shots, on flea, tick & heart worm medication. They both LOVE to play and are great at running your dog(s) tired.

Overnights are done indoors where they are safe and warm. Your dog can sleep on a dog bed, in my bed, or in a crate. I'll do what ever it takes to make you and your dog happy.

Drop-offs start at 10:30am. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS.

We offer pick-ups as late as 12am. Arrangements may be possible for later pick-ups with advance notice.

Phone calls are mandatory before all pick ups and drop offs for the pup's safety in our home..

Holidays tend to be busier than normal because of our repeat clients. Only one new client is permitted during holidays.

I'm a huge dog lover of all breeds, however I do have some breed and temperament restrictions for boarding.

Please read my entire profile to view restrictions and my rates to see if we'll be a good fit. Max size I can host is 40lbs. and/or 20" at the withers/shoulders

Why I love dog sitting

Honestly, I've been a dog lover since birth. I'm the type of person that when I see a dog I ask the owner if I may pet their dog. I believe that there is no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners.

I've worked with dogs at both an animal shelter for about a year and a speciality surgical vet office for about 10 years. I've babysat for some of the vets I've worked with. I've also had 3 years in obedience training and have done obedience dog shows which we've placed in.

My pet loving, co-dog sitting roommate Elena has a desert tortoise she's had since he was a hatchling. He's about 20 years old now and is a HUGE dog lover!. She also has two geckos.

About my yard

I have a huge backyard that's fully fenced. It's secure and over 6'. I have a dog door I can teach your dog to use. The yard is all grass. TONS of room for running, night glo-ball, laser, and Chuck-It. All yard play and bathroom breaks are supervised.

My experience administering medication

I can do shots & pills with ease. *PLEASE ASK FOR FEES.

I am a full time dog care professional available for training, boarding, drop-ins, walks, and day care. I consider myself first and foremost a dog trainer, so during any of our interactions, you can be sure your companion will get lots of personalized attention and love, and that they will learn something, too!

I'm a member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and I am simulation engineer and data scientist with about 10 years of experience. I'm currently working on a research project that hopes to use machine learning to improve dog training. In many cases, when we think of training we think of turning a bad dog into a good one. I specialize in making good dogs great by using a quantitative framework and scientifically backed methods with the goal of creating improved canine citizens.

My goal is to be a knowledgeable trainer for common behavioral issues. We will work to improve the reliability of basic commands such as come and stay, practice their ability to be calm while on leash, and to have good manners around people and other dogs. If you're interested, I hope to give you more confidence in having your companion off leash and under voice control in a variety of situations. And of course, you'll get daily photos and updates on how much fun they're having.

4PawsDogResort - Home Full Time!Somerset, Bellevue, WA

Please read my ENTIRE profile by clicking, "Read More" below:

My goal is to create a loving/fun vacation for your best friend as he/she becomes part of our family. All you do is pack enough food for their visit with us - plus medications, supplements and a regular leash. We do the rest; providing TLC, toys, fun outings, belly or butt scratches and companionship. If they are totally attached to their bed, bring that too, otherwise we have very comfy dog beds.

My availability calendar is above, in the left column. My price reflects a 24-hour period. If drop off/pick up times are not the same, there may be a price adjustment. A meet 'n greet is REQUIRED for each dog and every guest MUST be well-mannered and socialized. High strung, high energy, hyper-active dogs or excessive barkers will not be a good fit here since it's too stressful for the other dogs AND humans when a dog isn't trained, misbehaves or is too loud or rowdy. Vaccinations are required. I will NOT take care of contagious dogs.

Dave, my husband, and I live in a ranch-style home in Tamara Hills, located on the back side of Somerset. We're close to the 405/I-90 interchange and 20 minutes away from the airport.

We especially enjoy watching dogs with a mellow/calm demeanor that are between 25 and 60 pounds. We're open to larger sizes as long as they are; potty trained, well behaved (have GREAT recall, and know sit, stay and HEEL), are not big barkers or rough when playing. Your dog will be a guest in OUR home and neighborhood and their behavior affects everyone; dogs and humans alike.

We believe in quality over quantity, so there usually aren't more than three guests at a time, to ensure that everyone gets the attention they deserve. Once in awhile, there can be 'spillover' where we have an extra dog or two for 24-48 hours as vacations can overlap.

Why I love dog sitting:

I've been an animal lover forever and have enjoyed taking care of dogs all my adult life. Growing up, my family had cats, dogs, birds and rabbits. As an adult, I have trained my own dogs who each turned out to be spectacular canine citizens, if I do say so myself. :)

Always drawn to animals, I supervised the front desk at a multi-doctor veterinarian hospital for several years after moving to the PNW.

About our Pets:

We share our lives with, Penny, a sweet, sensitive, 10 1/2 year old, Border Collie/Husky mix who looks like a honey-colored fox and Skoshi, an adorable, red-headed, tri-colored, 9 1/2 month old corgi.

About our yard:

Our yard is 'fenced' with both iron railing and a 3-4', plastic coated wire and metal fencing, so it is only deterrent-type fencing.

My experience administering medication:

I'm fine giving pills.

Large Fenced Yard, Lots of Trees.Wedgwood, Seattle, WA

We are dog lovers ourselves with two dogs of our own: Our Pomeranian, Maxfield, and Teacup Pomeranian, Rory. Although we can sit animals in their own homes, if that's where they are most comfortable, we generally sit dogs at our home providing that they can get along with our pups. If they are not social, that's OK too, we can let them play in our large fully fenced backyard that has covered and shady areas as well as lots of trees and paths to play on. If separation becomes necessary, Judy's residence downstairs is separate and can host delicate friends in peace with her. We are happy to have a free meet and greet in any case to let you know your canine kids are in good hands. Multiple potty breaks a day, whether it's here or at your home, to make sure your buddy doesn't lack for company.

About this sitter:

I am retired and have owned dogs for over thirty years. I have my niece Pam and her husband Jim living with me, as well as her brother, Stephen, and his little dachshund mix, Milo. Pam and I love to walk dogs in our neighborhood. Even though we live two blocks from an elementary school, our neighborhood still boasts of having more dogs than kids. We have had a dog walking/sitting business for the last six years and have glowing testimonials from our friends and clients.

Why I love dog sitting

I have loved dogs all my life, and finally got my own first dog 47 years ago. We've had a ball enjoying all the dogs that stay with us through Rover. All shapes and sizes and personalities of pups, each one unique.

Meet my pets

Maxfield, the Pomeranian, Rory, the Teacup Pomeranian, and Milo, the Dachshund Mix

About my yard

Our back yard is fully fenced and has defied all escape artists attempts to date. The yard is large and situated on a hillside, with terraced paths through large Apple, Oak, Red Cedar and Dogwood trees.

Older or Health-Challenged Dogs may find it a bit steep...15 stairs to the Back Yard.

My experience administering medication

Yes, several of our guests have needed to take various meds. Our only exception was a diabetic dog (Pam is needle phobic)

Full Time Loving Experienced CareLeschi, Seattle, WA

Formerly a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind, now spending my days dog sitting adorable pooches! I am home full time and am a responsible mom, dog owner, dog sitter, and dog lover. My home has lots of space and a large, completely fenced yard. ****Dogs in my care are non dominant, exhibit no aggression ever, have excellent house manners, have calm and easy going personalities, and are not high energy. If you think your dog is the perfect fit, please keep reading.

About me: I am certified to raise puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind and I began dog sitting over 10 years ago for friends, neighbors, and through word of mouth referrals.

I've been a Rover sitter for over 6 years! I've completed hundreds and hundreds of dogs sits through Rover and have met so many incredible dogs and people.

I'm home full time and caring for the dogs is my top priority and focus. I tend to their every need, walk them twice a day, snuggle them, play with them, fluff their bedding, and take them to the backyard to play and run around. If I ever need to run out, my husband works from home and will be here to keep the dogs company. Your dog will almost never be left alone! Sometimes once or twice a week, for 2 to 4 hours we leave the dogs alone to go out on a date. Otherwise, one or both of us are with the dogs. (If we do leave, your dog must be ok not to bark or stress out). I send daily updates, photos, and videos so you can feel connected to your beloved pooch and know how they are doing on their vacation with me. Check out my pics of dogs recently in my care on this rover page or on my instagram @ seattledogsitterlife.

About my dogs - one of our beloved labs passed away a few months ago at the age of 12. So very sad. Our other lab is now 11 years. He is super mellow and spends most of his time sleeping. He gives our Rover guests plenty of personal space and our home environment is quiet and peaceful - except during the always exciting meet and greets, and when someone is entering our home ;) He does great with puppies and dogs of all sizes, as long as the dog is calm and not dominant.

A day in the life: up around 7:30. Dogs relieve, eat, and rest or quiet play time. Then morning walk, 30 to 40 minutes. Then home to rest, play, nap, chew bones, etc. Dogs relax at my feet while I am on the computer or baking, cooking, etc. Excursions to the backyard as desired throughout the day. Sun on the back deck, roll on the grass, sniff plants, find sticks to chew. Exploration and stimulation, in a very quiet and relaxed setting, always with me close by. Then dinner and another 30 to 40 minute walk, followed by evenings at home. Potty breaks are frequent throughout the day - every hour or couple of hours since we are almost always at home and the dogs can go out as often as they like. Last potty break is around midnight. Constant companionship and 2 walks everyday, rain or shine and plenty of potty breaks and backyard time. (Older dogs like mine, take their walks slower and enjoy more sniffing. Younger dogs get walked longer and faster. Care is personalized for what your dog needs).

My experience & training - My husband and I are both HIGHLY experienced with every aspect of dog care, training, safety, and supervision. As volunteer puppy raisers, my husband and I, are trained and certified by Guide Dogs for the Blind. This certification required home visits and in person testing and training. We participated in WEEKLY dog training and handling classes for 5 years, so literally hundreds of dog raising/training/safety classes and workshops. We raised 2 guide dog puppies from 8 weeks old to 16 months for this amazing organization, as well as caring for and helping train numerous other guide puppies for shorter durations.

As puppy raisers, we learned how to best interact with dogs, how to keep them safe, how to socialize them, and how to teach them basic skills and desired behaviors through positive reenforcement and consistency. Our dog training and handling skills were constantly being evaluated, critiqued, and held to the highest standards.

We are dog experts and know how to keep dogs safe and happy. We don't feed people food to dogs or feed dogs at our table, we have high value freeze dried dog treats to share at appropriate times and dog toys that are durable and safe for dogs.

Second home and part of our family - we treat our guest dogs just like we treat our own adored pups, with lots of love and individual attention and like true family members with individual needs and feelings. Your dog's safety and happiness is our top priority - always. I will care for your pups exactly as you request. I care for my dog and generally another guest dog or 2, my time centers around caring for the dogs and making sure they are comfortable, happy, and stimulated with exercise, affection, and individual interaction. In over 10 years of dog sitting I have never canceled a dog sit on anyone, ever.

I have clients that leave their dogs with me for long stays of 6+ weeks at a time and other guests that consistently leave their dogs with me for 10 + weeks every year - year after year. A few of my guests have spent over 56 weeks - and counting - in my care over the past few years. Many clients check my availability before booking their vacations. Some clients have moved away, but still return to Seattle to leave their dogs with me when they travel. My guests are truly extended family members that I love and look forward to seeing every visit!

Regarding boarding rates - they are for 24 hours of care. If you need additional time, an additional fee will be charged. I try to be flexible with drop offs and pick ups and allow them between 8am and 10pm. If you need to drop off before 8am (or 9am on a weekend), then please book the night before your trip or if you are coming home after 10pm, please book the additional night. If your dog has some special needs or is a younger puppy we can discuss and increase the rate if needed.

My calendar - if the dates you are interested in show as unavailable, feel free to double check with me, I may still have space available for a dog that is an excellent fit for us.

Why I love dog sitting - I love dogs, I love using the dog skills I spent years developing, and I love providing a service that allows traveling dog parents to have peace of mind while their dog enjoys a fun and safe vacation in our home.

My yard - doggy paradise, perfect for both play and relaxation and the dogs have access to it all day, as frequently as they like - under my watchful eye. We are on a rare double lot - 6000 square feet. Our yard is completely fenced - fence height varies - low end is 39" and high end is 6 feet and landscaped. We do not leave dogs unsupervised in the yard, ever. Many of the photos on my profile show the dogs playing, sunning, or running in our backyard - we have grass, paved patio, wood deck, shade areas, sun areas, flowers, trees, shrubs, and lots of places to explore and sniff - all off leash and in a relaxed environment, where they can enjoy nature and truly experience an outdoor vacation that is rare for the urban dog.

Need a puppy expert? I am one. Also, my labs are very gentle with puppies and will help to socialize and model good behavior, if your puppy is calm, not high energy and neutered/ or spayed if over 6 months, please feel free to reach out.

My experience administering medication: I have given pills and administered ear drops and have given insulin shots.

Dogs Love Creativity!Olympic Hills, Seattle, WA

I have always been a "animal person", and have lived with and cared for animals since I can remember - even my first job (as a very young child) was dog sitting for my neighbor's Shih Tzu's. My house has long been a home away from home for many of my friend's canine companions when their people have needed to go out of town or just needed a place to stay and play for the day.

I have worked in animal welfare for nearly the past two decades (including companion animal shelters and wildlife rehabilitation), have been a foster care home, and live a vegan lifestyle. I work from home as an artist and photographer (specializing in companion animal and wildlife/nature portraits), jewelry designer/metal smith, and a graphic and web designer. I have found that animals enjoy being around creative energy and tend to congregate around me and relax while I am working on art projects.

I live with my adopted animal family – Maggie the American Eskimo who is the shy but doting mother figure of the pack; Rumo the cheeky toothless Chihuahua with a silly grin; and Bailey the Amazon Parrot and art critic in training. I have a large fenced back yard and a very animal friendly house. All animals who stay with me are treated as part of the family and I do my best to make them happy, comfortable, and as stress free as possible.

Jeff And kathy are the very very best! My dog was sick and they completely took care of him as if he was their own. They are special special people.

Judy and Pam are the best! This was Sheldon's third stay with them, and each time we've felt so secure knowing that he is in the best of hands. Their home is seriously a dog paradise!

Bob is our number 1 guy when it comes to watching our dog. He loves on Rye so much that when we show up for drop off Rye runs immediately to his door without looking back! He is always spoiled rotten and comes back happy as can be!
