“Laurel did such an amazing job caring for our little old pug while we were away. She is prompt and communicative. She went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much, Laurel! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Amanda was excellent! Great communication, prompt arrival a cared for our two male cats, would definitely recommend and will be using her services again! Thanks Amanda!”

“Kimberly is great! She’s easy to work with and very capable. While there were no issues here, I feel like she could handle anything. I appreciate her timely and good communication style. Thumbs up!”

“Ivana was wonderful! She was quick to respond to our late last minute booking for our wedding weekend. She took care of our two dogs. They warmed up to her and enjoyed their time. Ivana was communicative and responsible. We appreciated trusting her and having our weekend go more smoothly because they were taken care of.”

About: I’ve owned and trained my own dogs, including working dogs, and have developed a strong understanding of dog behavior, training, and motivation. I take a thoughtful, structured approach to care—prioritizing each dog’s safety, happiness, and individual needs. I’ve also spent significant time researching canine behavior, which helps me read body language, manage different temperaments, and create a positive, low-stress environment. I have my own friendly, well-trained dog who gets along well with other dogs and will typically join me on walks and drop-in visits. If you prefer solo care for your dog, I’m happy to accommodate that with advance notice. For house sitting, my dog would need to come with me, but I always ensure a smooth and respectful introduction so both dogs are comfortable. I’m available to care for your dog on Friday evenings and throughout the weekends, and I’m flexible within that time for services such as walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I enjoy spending that time actively engaging with dogs through exercise, play, and attention tailored to their needs. If I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure their core needs are consistently met throughout the day—exercise, play, feeding, and regular bathroom breaks. I focus on keeping dogs both physically active and mentally engaged through walks, outdoor time, and interactive play tailored to their energy level and personality. I also pay close attention to their routine and comfort, making sure they feel safe, settled, and well cared for while their owner is away.
“Kayla was absolutely incredible!! She went above and beyond to love our Doberman. She was attentive and sent tons of updates and pics. 1005 would book her again and definitely will in the future. If you are nervous about leaving your pet at home, don't be, because Kayla is so attentive and awesome!!!! Do yourself a favor and book her because she is awesome!!!”

“Jessica is an amazing caretaker and an absolutely fantastic pet person! You can tell when a person really cares and loves for your loved ones. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to express how wonderful she is to our Toby! She deserves 10 stars!”

“Stephanie took amazing care of our cats during her drop in visits. It sounds like our cats were comfortable with her right off the bat, which is a good sign that Stephanie gives off good vibes that cats love. We will definitely book her again for future care!”

“Cortney helped me out in a pinch and am so grateful for her ability to check on my girl while I was at work and send photos too. Easy to communicate with and updated me with all the information I would want to know. Thank you Courtney!”
“Caroline went above and beyond—I can’t recommend her enough! This was my first time leaving my two cats with someone who wasn’t a friend or family member, so I was understandably nervous. Caroline immediately put my mind at ease with thorough daily reports and plenty of great photos, which reassured me that my boys were safe and well cared for. She followed my checklist perfectly and even went beyond it, doing thoughtful extras I didn’t ask for, like taking out the garbage. Thank you again, Caroline! We’ll definitely be booking again 😊”

“Callaway is very communicative and easy to work with. Unfortunately my cat was not very nice to her (unforeseen) and she took it in stride with so much gracious understanding.”

About: I have always had some kind of pet growing up and am so happy with that fact! Whether it be bird, turtle, fish, hamster, or more cats and dogs than I can count I have either owned them or taken care of them. I have experience with all walks of life from fresh to life to the could retire in human years stages. I also have experience in keeping to medication schedules and working around allergies and diets during mealtimes. I also have worked with highly-reactive dogs and am more than willing to put in the time and effort so they are comfortable with me as well as have the skills to help them work through stressful moments. I absolutely cannot wait to meet your pets and help you support them as best I can. I currently work several seasonal jobs so I am super available during the off seasons. I am open for walks or check-ins from 10am-6pm Tuesdays-Sundays and I am available for house sitting on a short notice. I always make sure that your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. If I am staying at your house I always aim to stick to the animals normal schedule, including mealtimes and walk times, to ensure that they are disrupted as little as possible and still feel safe.
“Kendal provided EXCELLENT care to our two cats who were able to stay happily at home, while we went on a 7 day vacation. We made sure our home was “cat proofed” before leaving, and Kendal visited once every day to check things over and take care of our cats needs. It was very reassuring to receive thorough check in reports with photos from Kendal, at very nearly the same time each day. She has proven herself to be a very responsible, prompt and caring care giver to our fur babies!”

My cats and I had a fantastic experience with Natalia and would absolutely book with her again! She checked in on our two kitties for almost a week that included the July 4th holiday weekend, and made our trip stress-free. She worked from brief instruction I sent and asked thoughtful questions when needed, and handled everything perfectly. She went above and beyond and it was clear she paid attention to detail and treated our home with respect. She also took the time to interact with the cats and that was a game changer when we got home (our cats usually need a day to feel normal when we return, but her daily play with them and routine made the return home that much more happy for the cats, if that makes sense. It was amazing seeing Mars comfortable enough to play and even show his belly!! Her communication was professional, updates were reassuring, and I felt confident our cats were in great hands. I highly recommend Natalia, me and the cats are both grateful!

Courtney was amazing. She took care of Kiki very well. I felt very comfortable living here with my home and I would hire her again anytime. She was very attentive and even took care of the small details like making sure her box was clean and also making sure there’s a light on if you wanted to. The report were detailed and on time. This was very appreciated.

Stephanie was a spectacular caretaker for our kitty Zeus. It was our first time leaving Zeus alone for more than 2 days and I had peace of mind with Stephanie. She was EXTREMELY caring and attentive to Zeus. She kept us up to date with multiple texts and pictures, and she even brought him different treats and games to play with. I highly recommend Stephanie for looking after your baby. SHE IS AMAZING.

Laurel was absolutely fantastic with my cat! He is incredibly shy around strangers, but Laurel was patient, gentle, and incredibly giving of her time. She had to administer three different types of medicine to him, which is no easy task, and she went above and beyond by staying extra time to ensure he got his proper dosages.

We had a wonderful experience with Momo. Communication was always smooth, prompt, and reliable, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She took excellent care of our cats, paid close attention to every detail, and even helped with a few extra household tasks without us having to ask. Most importantly, our cats quickly warmed up to her, and it was obvious they felt comfortable and well cared for. We truly appreciate her kindness, thoughtfulness, and professionalism, and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

1000% recommend Samanta! I was nervous since it was the first time being away from our 10mo old bengal along with our 15yr old bengal but from day 1 Samanta set my worries aside. She won both of my cats over! She gave very detailed updates each day on their eating, behavior, litter routine, playtime. Lots of pictures and videos which we loved! When we came home both kitties were perfectly happy - I think they were wondering where was Samanta lol. It was also so nice to come back to everything taken care of after the late flight in - she even prepped for the next day which I sooo appreciated. I will definitely seek her out the next time we’re out of town to take care of our kitties!!

Arwen was wonderful! She took care of our cats during our 4-day trip and gave us great peace of mind. She sent us pictures and detailed updates every day, which we really appreciated. When we came back, the cats were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We would definitely recommend Arwen and would be happy to book with her again.
What a wonderful photographer, she sent the best pictures of our cat. You could tell our cat was playing and engaged! So heartwarming to see that Stanley was happy and doing just fine! Kumiko even alerted us on her 1st visit that Stanley hadn't gone #2 and updated us on 2n visit (2 days later) that he had gone #2 now that is quality care! We will definitely have Kumiko visit Stanley again and highly recommend her!
Tami was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I have a very anxious cat, and we were a bit nervous to have to leave her for a week. Tami gave us GREAT peace of mind and did everything possible to give our cat the care she needed. We received regular updates and photos, and we could tell that Tami genuinely cared for her well-being. If we travel again in the future, Tami is the first person we'll reach out to regarding care for our cat.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bothell. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
