“She went above and beyond to take care of my cat, and made sure he was doing well even though he’s scared of people and was hiding a lot. Hannah was also very nice and professional, I would absolutely recommend her and hire her again.”
“Kumiko does an excellent job taking care of my little girl, Nala! This is her second time taking care of her and Nala loves her! Kumiko also keeps everything very clean and tidy. Highly recommend!”

“Stephanie was an exceptional companion and caretaker to our 16-year-old cat, Ruby. She went above and beyond - boiling chicken for Ruby to enjoy on thanksgiving, giving her cat nip, and providing the cutest updates and pictures everyday. She even left behind a crocheted black cat in Ruby's honor! Ruby has stage 4 renal failure, which Stephanie understood and didn't blink an eye about. We'd highly recommend Stephanie to any cat owner, but especially anyone with an elderly cat or cats with special health needs. We look forward to having Stephanie back in the future!”

“I do not know if I can adequately describe how I feel about Kimberly. She is not "just a sitter on Rover" - Kimberly has become part of our extended family. As with many pet owners, it can be hard to hand over the care of pets to anyone, let alone someone you do not know. That was how I felt when I first reached out to Kimberly. We recently relocated to the greater Seattle area, and one of the hardest parts of the move was finding a new sitter who could live up to the one we had in Canada. I had heard of Rover and, with some deep investigating, found Kimberly. I reached out; she quickly responded, met us in person and answered all our questions. We set off on our trip and received daily updates and photos. I know the updates are a part of the protocol, but Kimberly does it wholeheartedly. Coming home, our fur kids were happy and content, which was a great welcome. That was almost a year ago, and our relationship keeps getting better. We now plan our getaways around Kimberly's schedule as best as we can! Thank you, Kimberly, for the love you show our family and for being a part of ours - we are the lucky ones! Michaella”

“Claudine is very sweet and is always quick to respond to messages. She took great care of our cat while we were away on vacation! She also sent us daily updates and pictures. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a cat sitter 😊”

About: I have had the opportunity to volunteer at the animal shelter as well as foster and adopt. I have been a sitter for friends and family on many occasions. I work part time remotely for evergreen healthcare, so I am very flexible. I enjoy getting out and about which is made possible due to my flexibility. I keep his dishes filled and clean his box twice a day, in the past I have taken my dog on daily walks and I am adamant about frequent checkups
“Caroline was wonderful! She took such good care of my cat, attending to all his needs, sending pictures daily, and being flexible and responsive. Would highly recommend and happily work with again!”

“Yuri went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she do a fantastic job caring for our cats—who are normally very skittish—but she also took the time to really earn their trust and make them feel at ease. Our cats were clearly happy and well cared for, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation completely worry-free. On top of that, she was incredibly conscientious: she went the extra mile keeping our automated litter machines clean and even took care of our packages while we were gone. We were so impressed with her attention to detail and level of care, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Louise has cats so she truly knows how to care for them properly. This is exactly what we needed when we went out of town and needed to leave our cat back home. Louise went above and beyond to ensure she was happy and healthy while we were away.”
“Callaway is very communicative and easy to work with. Unfortunately my cat was not very nice to her (unforeseen) and she took it in stride with so much gracious understanding.”

“Highly recommend Sangmin! He is very responsible and make sure your fur kid is happy and cared. He dedicated all his attention and time 100% during the session playing with my cat. I would book him again.”

“We had such a great experience with Momo over the Christmas break. She took wonderful care of our kitties, making sure they were well fed, comfortable, and clearly loved while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated, which gave us real peace of mind during the holidays. We came home to happy, relaxed cats and that says it all. We’re truly grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Elizabeth was great with my cat, Zeus. He tended to be a little more reserved but she sent the best photos of him trying to figure out who this person was. She accommodated for his eating schedule and kept everything well in place at my home”

About: Hello! I am flexible on my pricing for individuals on a budget; feel free to reach out to chat about options. I am in my 30’s and my first cat adopted me when I was just a year old. The first time a stray dog followed me to his furever home, I was seven. I have extensive experience with cats, from fostering semi-feral felines to volunteering for years with the Seattle Animal Shelter. I am comfortable with sensitive cats, skilled at administering medications, and a majority of my regular clients have cats who tend to be aggressive with strangers. Your cat can’t scare me; scouts honor! I have mid-level experience with dogs. I have fostered reactive dogs in the past, utilizing distractions and redirection when on walks. I often become the pet sitter for those dogs when they’re either reunited with family or find their new home. I’m the type of person dogs make eye contact with from a distance, and I always request permission from dog parents before inviting the dog to be pet. My pet sitting includes overnight and attentive drop-ins. It’s important for me to ensure that a pet feels loved when their family is away, and I am often thanked for treating someone’s pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby(ies)! I am a full-time professional pet sitter. This means that I can give your pet customized care and can be with them for extended periods of time! I live with my mom, who is disabled and does not work, which means that she is usually home whenever I have to leave to go drop-in on another pet. Every pet is different, and my schedule is flexible — let’s compare your needs to my calendar and go from there! Trust is rarely immediate and must be built with time. I take a slow approach with pets when I enter your home, making sure to keep in mind that I am a guest in their space. I always remove my shoes when entering a home, and I like to place them in an area where your pet(s) can inspect them. This is an excellent way for them to get to know me. Shy cats often love to stick their faces in my boots! I do the same with any bag that I bring, and sometimes (for cats or critters) I will remove the objects from my bag so that they can inspect them individually. While an animal and I are getting to know each other, I always ask them for permission to pet them by providing my hand in an unthreatening manner. I like to use a low, calm voice. For shy pets, I limit direct engagement, so they can get adjust to my presence. If a pet is hiding, I’ll often read aloud to them during my visit. You know your pet best; if there is any specific approach that you’d prefer I take, I am happy to do so!
“Brittany was great!! She took great care of our 2 cats, sent regular updates and pictures and we will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we need a cat sitter :)”

“We have used Jessica twice now for our cats. She is very detailed oriented and we can tell our cats are well cared for when we are gone. She will definitely be our go-to cat sitter now!”

“Professional and caring, kept me updated with pictures and notes about how my cat was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. My usually shy cat warmed up to her quickly, which says a lot about their patience and approach.”

About: I am a detail oriented sitter and I care about sticking to the care plan. I like playing with pets, so they're sure to get enough exercise! I am a cat owner, so it is part of my daily routine to take care of them. Pets are a priority, especially when it comes to feeding properly. I live in an apartment and have indoor cats. They receive a kibble for indoor cats and water daily as needed. They each have their own litter box in different rooms. I have a variety of toys for them.

Bothell cat parents share their Rover experiences
Natalia was a life saver for our trip. We’ve got two elderly kitties who are able to tolerate change less and less these days. Natalia adapted to their needs and kept us in the loop every day as we worked through new care strategies together from afar. Her presence made all the difference in our ability to enjoy our trip and know our cats were in good hands. 1000% will book Natalia next time.

Stephanie was an amazing cat sitter for our two babies. She was consistently on time, and communicated with us the whole time we were gone. She is the Mary Poppins for cats. She loved our cats like they were her own, and spoiled them every day. We definitely recommend her.

I highly recommend Lu! She did an excellent job taking care of my cat Thunder, who obviously loved Lu from the videos she shared. She was able to adapt to an unexpected change of entrance directions and I really appreciate her commitment and communication.

Rochelle was such a lifesaver for me! When my 'regular' person was not available, I realized I needed a second to call when in need. She came over and met the pack and did a great job taking care of the kitties when I was away. I am so glad to have her taking care of them, I feel they are in great hands. I will definitely be using her services again!

Lu did a wonderful job taking care of my baby! She followed all instructions carefully and made sure our cat was comfortable and well looked after. We especially appreciated the cute photos after the visit. Our cat seems really happy when we saw the pictures! It’s clear she is patient, responsible, and genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to others.

Caroline took wonderful care of our cat, Gaogao. She always sent updates and lots of photos after every visit, which we really appreciated. Gaogao clearly loved spending time with her and enjoyed cuddling and playing with her. She also really helped us during an emergency while we were away. Gaogao tried to swallow a screw, and Caroline noticed in time and pulled it out before it became much worse. We’re so grateful for that. Caroline is super reliable and communicative, and we would definitely book with her again. We strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

I highly recommend Xiaoyi for cat sitting! I booked Xiaoyi for drop-in visits, and I couldn't be happier with the care provided. Xiaoyi was incredibly punctual, reliable, and followed all feeding instructions perfectly. I really appreciated the detailed updates and the adorable photos sent during each visit, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear that Xiaoyi truly loves animals and treated my cat with so much patience and kindness. Thank you, Xiaoyi!
