My husband works from home almost every day, and I run my Etsy shop from home, so your pup will have lots of company throughout the day. We live just a mile from Miner's Corner Park, one of our favorite places to walk and play! We'd love to include your furry friend in our outdoor adventures, whether that's enjoying a neighborhood stroll or exploring the park together. We also have a small, fenced backyard with easy access from our main floor for convenient outdoor breaks. Our home is a three-story townhouse built into a hill, so there are stairs to navigate. I'm happy to discuss your dog's individual needs to make sure our home is a good fit. We even have a double stroller from our kids that we'd be happy to share with a furry friend for appropriate walks and outings! Our family includes three kids, ages 22 months, 6, and 13, so we're a busy, family-oriented household. We don't currently have a dog or cat of our own, which means your pup will be our special guest. Although I haven't worked professionally as a pet sitter, dogs have always held a special place in my life. I grew up spending time with my grandparents' dog Duffy and a beloved neighborhood dog, and I understand how important patience, affection, and companionship are. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, just like part of the family. My husband, Brandon, primarily works from home, and I run my Etsy shop from home, so someone is usually around throughout the day. Our flexible family schedule allows us plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles. We love including pets in our daily routines and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you're away! We live in a three-story townhouse with a small fenced backyard, so dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable using stairs. We also back up to a dog park, giving us a convenient option for walks and outdoor time. Someone is usually home during the day, and we would provide a safe, loving environment while following your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and care instructions. We have two young children, ages 1½ and 6, who are gentle with animals. We also have two pet reptiles in secure enclosures—a bearded dragon named Jasmine in our living room and a crested gecko named Minnie in a bedroom. Visiting dogs would always be supervised around our children and kept safely separated from our reptile babies.
“Jiani provided attentive care for my cat while we were away for a week. My cat, Todie, stayed with Jiani at her place, and Todie is usually very shy and nervous in new places. With frequent photo updates from Jiani, I was able to tell that Todie grew comfortable in her care rather quickly, and it relieved much stress on my end. Jiani was very flexible with picking up Todie and dropping her back off, too, which made planning easy for me! I will absolutely rebook with Jiani in the future!”

About: I've taken care of friends and families dogs ever since I got my dog 8 years ago. I love dogs and give them as much attention and care as I can. I value a healthy lifestyle for myself and my pet and would do the same for your pet. I work full time with hybrid working schedule. My work is fairly flexible depending on my needs. I typically work in office and make sure to come home during my lunch break for an hour to play with my dog. Sometimes I work half days in office so that I can spend the other half day at home with my dog. My dog has free reign of my home and yours would too. I make sure to have a clean space for dogs and I have a long entry way for playing fetch. I take my dog for walks around my apartment complex as well as on nearby trails. The health of animals in my care is important to me.

Highly Recommended! Highly recommended for working folks with crazy work schedules! This was my first time using Karina on Rover, and I had an amazing experience. I booked her last minute, but she was still able to accommodate a quick meet and greet so our dogs could get acquainted before the stay. She truly went above and beyond, when my dog ran out of food, she was kind enough to make a store run to pick up more. Then, on my return trip, flight and highway delays pushed back my pickup time, and she was exceptionally flexible and understanding. As a bonus, her family loves dogs just as much as she does!
