“Fantastic pet sitter, especially for our elderly dogs! Rachel is so attentive to our pups even with their medical needs. We felt 100% confident leaving them in her care. Thank you, Rachel!”

“Nathan and his family were amazing sitters for my cat Curtis! They sent me the cutest photos and videos every day and gave him so much love. I can tell that he was very happy and he even became buddies with their cat Milo. I would recommend Nathan to all of my friends and family and I will book with him again in the future!”

“Pheara is great!! She took AMAZING care of our two small dogs for two weeks. She gave them extra special attention as they are both shy around new people. They both came home happy and ready to take naps from all their long walks and playtime. Thank you Pheara!!”

“We left our 2 yr old lab puppy - Butter with Alexa. Alexa was considerate about needs of Butter as a young and energetic puppy and she made sure her house was safe for Butter. While staying with Alexa, Butter went on new adventures, made new dog and cat friends and a wonderful time staying home and playing with her daughter. Thanks Alexa for taking good care of Butter.”

“Fantastic! Lauren and Ryan cared for our dogs like they were one of their own. The dogs had so much fun they didn't want to go home. Lauren provided lots of pictures and updates every day. I liked that our dogs were able to socialize with their dogs in a big backyard. Our dogs settled right in with Lauren and Ryan after a long day of play and fun.”

About: Hi there! 👋 We’re a dog-loving couple with flexible schedules and a big heart for pups. I don’t work a fixed 9 to 5 schedule and my husband works fully from home — so your dog will always have company and care around the clock. Our one-year-old female lab who loves every dog she meets. Before her, we were lucky to have a male Lab who stayed with us for 16 wonderful years, from just a few weeks old until his peaceful passing on his 16th birthday. Because of him, we’re very familiar with caring for dogs at every stage of life — from energetic puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra attention and care. We live in a house with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. We take at least three walks a day — around our quiet neighborhood, across the street at the middle school sports ground or along the nearby riverside trail — always on leash for safety. We’ll treat your dog like family and make sure they feel loved, safe, and right at home. 🐾 ❤️ What You Can Expect * 24/7 supervision and companionship * Daily photo and video updates * Safe, fenced yard for playtime * Walks at least three times a day * Plenty of love, cuddles, and positive energy I don’t work a fixed 9 to 5 schedule and my husband works fully from home — so your dog will always have company and care around the clock We live in a house with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. “Namhee was amazing. Our dog Lady is a fussy eater and Namhee never gave up and made it her mission to make Lady eat at least something each day. She cooked organic meals for her when Lady refused her usual food. Namhee's daily updates were one of our vacation highlights. Everybody in the family wanted to read the detailed daily reports which accompanied the numerous photos and videos. Highly recommend Namhee. I hope that for our next trip she's free to take in Lady again.”

“Stacey and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our two year old English Springer Spaniel. I loved that they had a big fenced yard and that he had a lot of outside time, and we received a few photo updates over the weekend. Will definitely use Stacey and Taylor again!”

“Had to find a last minute sitter due to a business trip and luckily found Noah & Tess. They were very mindful of Mochi’s needs and sent us photos and videos of Mochi having a blast. I highly recommend them for you pups!!”

“This was our first time using a sitter from rover so we wanted to pick someone well reviewed and highly rated. Kangaroo spent the weekend with Virginia and was well loved and taken care of! We see why Virginia is so well rated and would definitely use her again!”

“Rochelle and her husband took such good care of our senior dog. She kept us updated on his adventures while we were traveling. I know that he enjoyed him time with them! Thanks for taking such good care of him. It was a pleasure.”
“Karen was a great dog sitter for our dog Daisy. She kept us informed throughout our vacation on how she was doing and even sent us a video. This was the first time she took care of Daisy and she did a great job.”

“Fantastic sitter. We have full confidence in Jonathan, and our toy poodle clearly enjoys his stays there. Can't say enough good things about the care and kindness Jonathan provides.”

“Candra was amazing!! She took such good care of my dog Dora, and provided several updates throughout her stay. She made sure she understood Dora’s needs, schedule, preferences, etc. I didn’t worry about Dora one bit because I knew she was having such a good time from the videos and pictures she sent me. Her kids and husband are awesome, and Dora was constantly entertained and had plenty of playtime throughout the day. I will 100% book with Candra again!”

“I’m so grateful for the wonderful care they gave my dog for two weeks! He looked so happy and well taken care of. Thank you for keeping me updated and making sure he felt comfortable. I would definitely trust them to watch him again!💓”

“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Sheena took great care of my dog, Uno. She handled introductions between Uno and her own dog really well. She updated me with photos, and Uno looked like he was having a great time. It was clear he was in good hands and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Sheena to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“I highly recommend Lorena for pup-boarding! My jack-chi Philo stayed with Lorena and her family while I was out of town for 6 days, and - like someone else had mentioned about their dog - I feel like he had his own little vacation. My previous go-to sitter had moved out of town and I was a bit worried about finding someone who could meet the needs of my sensitive little boy. After reading Lorena's reviews, I had a very good feeling, and she even offered a meet and greet in person or phone beforehand. The care was excellent, with lots of pics of Philo out walking and updates. Their house was a great place for him too, with room to explore, get outside, and enjoy nature. And he even made some doggie friends while he was there. As Philo does sometimes, he wasn't eating all his food at first. After checking with me (I'd mentioned chicken is his favorite) Lorena gave him some chicken and he got a healthier appetite. The whole trip, I wasn't worried about Philo and knew he was in good hands which was a relief. Thank you Lorena!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bothell
Highly recommended. We will ask again Xiaoli to host our little Mango. This was our first experience of separating and we all were nervous. Mango came back home happy, clean and fresh. We received photos, videos and frequently updates many times that was greatly appreciated. One more great thing that Xiaoli’s little Lucky also was a great host to share his house with Mango. Thank you Xiaoli and family!

Masumi is by far the most reliable and attentive sitter we've ever had! I truly don't think there's anyone who could take better care of any dogs! She paid close attention to every detail of my dog's care. She even adjusted her collar and switched her leash to ensure his safety, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail were exceptional. My dog is a picky eater, so preparing her meals with various toppings can be a bit of a hassle, but she happily accommodated all of his needs. My dog also sometimes vomit, so I was worried about leaving her with someone new, but she did wonderfully under her care. Her entire family showered her with love and affection, and it was clear that she enjoyed spending so much time with them and playing with Apple. It truly felt like a loving home rather than just a boarding stay. It was a wonderful boarding experience from start to finish. I've already booked our next stay because I know I can leave my dog with Masumi with complete confidence and peace of mind!

Jiyeon took very good care of our dog. Our pup is older with some health issues, Jiyeon was able to accommodate and make her feel comfortable. She is very meticulous and will ask plenty of questions about care. She also handled the medication our dog needs. We were very happy with her thoroughness. She gave us multiple updates and sent pictures throughout each day we were away. We felt very comfortable with her taking care of our dog and plan to book with her again in the future!

One of the best dogsitters I had so far. They offer me a full service for my dog: daily follow up on her journey, videos and pictures sent daily to show me how busy she was and happy with them. I can tell that when I pick her up she was happy and relaxed. Thank you so much for your service and definitely will rebook you because you were beyond excellent.:)

This was the first time I left Oli with Nishi, and she made the entire experience so much easier by providing reassurance and keeping communication open throughout Oli’s stay. I really appreciated the frequent updates and knowing how he was doing. Nishi was also very transparent in letting me know there would be an overlap with another dog on the last day. Since Oli doesn’t do well with other dogs, she explained that she would keep them separated, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I would definitely leave Oli with Nishi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, communicative, and trustworthy pet sitter.

Our normally timid, shy, anxious dog had the BEST time with Namhee and her family. She was attentive and detailed and provided a lot of updates that gave us the peace of mind knowing he was doing well in her care. Would definitely reach out again for future boarding!

Jackson was flexible and accommodating to our needs. My cat, who is usually not very friendly with strangers, warmed up to Jackson from the very first day. It was also his first time staying away from us for several days, and when we came back, he seemed relaxed rather than stressed or sad. I would definitely recommend Jackson to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
