“Everything was Outstanding. I will plan on doing it again. Diana was fabulous with my Dogs. My two beagles are a handful. My older one needs medication every 8 hours and Diana did an outstanding job getting her to take her pills and eat. My younger dog, is a social, attention needy pup and Diana did a super job taking care of her. My dogs loved playing with Millie and the other dogs and staying cool in the heat too. Many thanks to Diana and her family for taking such great care of our two dogs! We loved getting the pictures of the dogs while were away. The communication was fabulous! I highly recommend Diana!”
“Karina was very nice and communicative….. she took really good care of my Oreo, he came home very happy. I Would highly recommend her to care for your dog.”

About: Hi, I’m Star! ⭐️ I’ve spent years caring for my own pets and helping out with friends’ pets when needed. I know every animal has a different personality, and I love getting to know what makes them happy. Whether that’s walks, playing fetch, belly rubs, or just hanging out together, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a pet owner myself. For walks or drop-ins, I’m available any day of the week, with morning availability on weekdays and a flexible schedule on weekends. I currently accept shorter housesitting stays and am happy to discuss longer bookings on a case-by-case basis. I’ll follow any instructions you leave for feeding, medications, routines, and anything else your pet needs. I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine.
“Sunny had the best time with Tenzin and his family. We got so many updates and it looks like he went on lots of walks and got lots of walks. Would highly recommend!”

“Jared and Rhonda are fantastic and I look forward to booking with them again, this was the best first Rover experience we could have asked for! Jared is great with dogs who are slow to warm up, which was important to me when searching for a dog sitter. Our pup is very anxious but I felt comfortable knowing she was in a loving and calm environment. Jared’s communication is top notch, we appreciated the frequent updates and photos. I would not hesitate to recommend!”

“Fantastic! Lauren and Ryan cared for our dogs like they were one of their own. The dogs had so much fun they didn't want to go home. Lauren provided lots of pictures and updates every day. I liked that our dogs were able to socialize with their dogs in a big backyard. Our dogs settled right in with Lauren and Ryan after a long day of play and fun.”

“We can't recommend Erin enough! She always takes such wonderful care of our dog, Benson. You can tell how much she genuinely loves animals, and she treats Benson like he's one of her own. She's incredibly attentive to his routine, follows his schedule carefully, and always makes sure he's happy and well cared for. Benson has the best time every time he stays with her and comes home happy, tired, and excited for his next visit. Her communication is outstanding, we always receive thoughtful updates and photos, and we never have to wonder how Benson is doing. Having that peace of mind while we're away means so much. We feel so lucky to have found someone we trust completely with our pup!”

“Kelly & Karen were awesome! Kelly made sure to send daily photos & was very responsive overall. They were also flexible with pick up/ drop off times. Maggie enjoyed her stay!”

“Wendie is absolutely amazing! My dog, Truffle, was ill before he went to Wendie’s place so he has some special needs (medication, crate rest and stroller walk). Wendie accommodated all and made sure Truffle gets the best care possible. Truffle obviously is a bit depressed being crate rested but Wendie also made sure he gets to snuggle with their family and stay close to them. Wendie is very detailed oriented, responsible and compassionate for dogs. Will def work with Wendie again!”

About: Our dog is now five years old, and pets have always been an important part of our family. We know how much love, attention, and care they deserve because we've experienced it firsthand. We treat every pet like they're our own and are committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. We are at home full time! We will be around to play with your pet, feed it, go on walks, make sure it has access to the backyard, and have lots of fun! In our home, pets have access to our fenced backyard, where they can go potty when they feel like it. We have a pet door so they don’t have to wait on us. We feed and walk them on their schedule so we don’t disrupt their routine. We make sure water is always available, and have cuddle and play time!
“Tunyi's was so far the best to board our dog and we have tried multiple dogsitters near us. She shared so many videos and pictures of our dog even without us requesting. Our dog seemed happy, comfortable and well taken care of. We will definitely consider Tunyi to watch our dog should we need help again in the future.”

“Super friendly, great communicator and made me feel like my fur baby was in good hands. The sitters dogs are friendly and were great with my guy. Thank you for keeping him safe and giving him company for our first overnight. We are looking forward to having him back. 💜”

“Our dog absolutely loves staying with Virginie and we are so grateful we found Virginie on Rover. We plan to always book with her. As an employee of Rover, I feel lucky to have such great experiences with the service.”

“They were wonderful caregivers for Finn. I could tell the second I picked him up that he was a bit leary of wanting to come back with me due to wonderful care Shi Min and Chamin provided. They updated me daily with photos and provided feedback on how Finn acted in their care. I will most certainly use them in the future!”

“Arly was wonderful. She sent updates and pictures each day or any time I texted her. My kitties aren't great in new spaces so they didn't fully warm up to her but she knew all the tricks to try to get the kitties to eat or to come out. One of my cats decided that she needed to lay in the laundry and Arly just let her. I will definitely be hiring her again the next time I need my kitties watched. Thank you Arly 😍😻😻”

“Another great visit with Joann!! I'm so grateful to have someone caring and attentive like her to watch my pup where she feels like it's a second home. My pup is so excited and happy to see her and her dogs when she stays.”

“John and his partner always take great care of our two! It was our 11 month old Great Pyrenees mix’s first time away overnight. He was a huge baby about it, but John took great care of him and his brother as always.”

“Another fantastic stay with Joy! Our dog, Simzy, was visibly excited to see Joy again, and she had a blast playing in the yard and snuggling with Joy during her stay. Joy went above and beyond to help us with our booking, going out of her way to help pick up our dog when we had last-minute difficulty with dropping her off. Joy—we are so so grateful we found you and can’t wait for Simzy’s next stay with her bestie!”

“Maple and Pip had a wonderful time. We worried about Maple might escape as she had done so at a new setting. She was safe, happy and really attached to her sitter, Masumi. They got their daily walk and played at the backyard. All went well except Pip soiled their carpet. We'll help Pip relearn to us his crate at night. All in all, we had a great vacation ourselves so did our doggies.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bothell
This is the first time I've used Rover to find care for my six-year-old terrier mix, Judah. After a lot of searching through so many options, I chose Inge B., and it was a terrific choice! I couldn't have been more pleased with how Inge cared for Judah. Her prior "meet and greet" at her home before my final booking was so helpful in not only allowing me to see her environment and personally meet her, but also for Judah to do the same. Her daily updates and photos on how Judah was doing were so reassuring for me. Judah was walked multiple times a day, played with, cuddled, and fed well. I will definitely use Inge again. She's a keeper!

Jessica was generous in sharing advice for keeping Cash entertained and comforted. She is a very kind person who clearly takes an interest in the wellbeing of the dogs. This was the first time that Cash had been away from us overnight in the year since we adopted him, so his anxiety was pretty high. Jessica worked with him. When we picked him up, she was honest that she could not keep him for our previously booked stay in October since she will be going back to in-office work instead of working from home.

We had such a great experience! Benson stayed with them for nine days and had the best time. He even found a new best friend in another dog they were caring for, which we loved seeing in all the updates. Their communication was top-notch throughout his entire stay, and we always felt like he was happy and in great hands. They took such wonderful care of him, and even cleaned him up and brushed his teeth before he came home, which was such a thoughtful touch! You could tell Benson had an amazing time, he came home happy, tired, and clearly very well loved. We felt completely comfortable having him there for such a long stay and will absolutely be booking with them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
