“Lesley is wonderful!! She sent photos and updates everyday, it was very reassuring. Lesley is extremely kind and I wouldn't hesitate to have her watch Mabel again. 100/10, I would recommend Lesley to anyone and everyone.”

They even went the extra mile to include him in a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas stocking present. Such an amazing family, we are so thankful for you all!! Highly recommend and will be contact again!”

“we’d never left our five year old doodle overnight and were nervous. the nerves changed to total delight as our pup fell head over heels in love with Rachel and she with him. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She really provides a home away from home for your dog.”

“Sheena took great care of my dog, Uno. She handled introductions between Uno and her own dog really well. She updated me with photos, and Uno looked like he was having a great time. It was clear he was in good hands and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Sheena to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“I can tell that Phillip and his girlfriend have so much love for animals. They took great care of my boy Didi and sent me regular updates. Didi felt right at home with them. I highly recommend their services.”

“Isabella and Gui were the best hosts! Bobo truly had his own vacation in form of dog parks and couch snuggles. Your pup would be lucky to be cared by them!”

“When our pup is with Ketaki, we travel completely stress-free. Her love, care, and affection are truly unmatched. During this stay, we had an unexpected medical emergency in India and had to extend our pup’s stay — Ketaki couldn’t have been more understanding or accommodating. From her thoughtful updates to the adorable videos, it honestly felt like our pup had found a second home. She handled everything with so much warmth and professionalism, and she was also open to feedback in the most genuine way. We owe Ketaki more than just a review — she’s been a blessing for our little family, and we couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“Philip was so good with our first doggy (1 yr old puppy) and his care was excellent with our second (3yr old choc lab). Steve had lovely park walks, mental stimulation and came back very happy doggie. Highly recommend!”

“You will not find better! Our dogs were loved, cared for and clearly in the hands of a seasoned pro during our one week trip to Hawaii. Not only did we received regular status updates and pictures from walks, dinner, naps etc but we were super surprised to see how much our skiddish rescue fell in love with Julie. It was the sweetest thing in the world to see her “say good bye” when we picked her up. It truly felt like our dogs bonded with Julie and were treated as family. 5 stars !”

“Orma is amazing!!! I had to drop mi babies at a moment’s notice due to a family emergency and she has done everything possible for my dogs to feel loved and well cared for during my absence. Her entire family rapidly bonded with them, making them feel loved and at ease. Thank you Orma for caring so much about Mia and Martin. Highly recommend her”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Duke while we were on vacation. Thanks for the regular updates and sharing all the details of his stay. He came home his happy self! We look forward to having him stay with you again sometime.”

“Xiaomeng was fantastic in taking care of my old girl. I love the pictures and videos she would send to keep me updated. My dog got sick while Xiaomeng was watching her and she was kind in keeping me informed and taking care of her. I felt so bad she had to deal with that but Xiaomeng reassured me she was okay and we talked about the best course of action to help my dogs stomach issue. I really appreciate her attentiveness and communication.”

About: Your pup is family to me too 🐾 — as a small dog mom myself, I understand exactly how much your fur baby means to you and will love them just as much. I work from home with office hours wrapping up by 2pm, so your pup gets my full attention the rest of the day — walks, playtime, cuddles, and everything in between. Your pup will feel right at home in my cozy space — my own small dog will be their built-in playmate, keeping them happy, socialized, and never lonely while I work from home nearby.
“Don is amazing! Super communicative and accommodating. Sent us pictures and updates of our pupp. Super easy to coordinate with. We will be regulars for overnight stays!”

“Sandra is always amazing! Charlie loves staying with her. She communicates updates, is flexible with drop off and pick up, and is just an amazing person to work with. We are very appreciative of her and can’t recommend her enough.”

“Incredibly positive experience with Jeremy watching my dog!! My dog is reactive and takes a while to warm up to people. Jeremy sent me daily updates (with pics) and in his next day update, my dog was sleeping on his lap which is huge for my dog. Super communicative and accommodating. He watched my dog for 4th of July weekend while I got married and everything went smoothly, did not have to worry about my dog at all in Jeremy’s care :)”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Gaby provided top care for our little Canela, she was very communicative during the process, and I can tell Canela had a great time. I will definitely re-book soon :) Thanks Gaby!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Yarrow Point
Kepler had such a wonderful time with Joyce and her lovely pup Dublin. Kepler enjoys their huge backyard and night time company. He enjoys saying goodnight to everyone and sleeping in the hallway. Joyce has a full fenced backyard and allows the dogs to spend time inside & outside like they would at home.

I cannot express enough how amazing the care for my pets was. I left both my dog and my cat with Yun-Chun and Ao-Chang. In the past, we've had difficult experiences with other sitters; my dog has anxiety and has had stress induced colitis from previous people he has stayed with. My cat gets very stressed too and will refuse to eat or drink. Yun-Chun and Ao-Chang were incredibly kind, attentive, and patient with my pets and both my dog and my cat came back EXTREMELY well cared for. They even got my cat to eat, which has been impossible for other sitters!! My dog had a blast in their backyard and came home with the biggest smile on his face. I will absolutely be booking again and can't recommend these caregivers enough. Thank you for taking such good care of my pets!!

Cindy and her family were great sitters! Our dog had a good time, and there were many opportunities for her to interact with other dogs in safe environments. I received many informative updates that showed how well my dog was doing, and I could see she was content and having a good time. I can't recommend Cindy highly enough and I won't hesitate to look for her availability to care for my dog again the next time I travel.

Frankie had a wonderful time staying with Kellie while I was out of the country. I felt comfortable knowing she was safe and in good hands while I was gone. Knowing she had a friend to play with and a family to love on in my absence made leaving much easier. Thank you Kellie!

Jenny and her family were absolutely amazing! They took such wonderful care of both of my dogs and treated them like members of their own family. It was clear that my dogs were surrounded by love, attention, and excellent care throughout their stay. They were incredibly responsible and communicative, which gave me complete peace of mind. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend Jenny. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Cookie and Olu!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I did not worry about my baby the whole trip. I got regular updates and Henry went above and beyond. The moment we got there we were treated like family instead of a client. I will definitely be booking again after this extraordinary experience. Usually on a review individuals look for the cons in the situation, for the first time ever, I can’t complain about anything. 😀

Phoebe did a great job taking care of my labradoodle, Theo. We did a meet and greet with her labradoodle, Teddy, before boarding to make sure they got on well. Theo had a wonderful time playing with Teddy throughout his stay and I would board Theo with Phoebe again.

Cindy was fantastic with Frisko! She followed all care instructions, always replied promptly, and provided wonderful daily updates with lots of photos. It was clear she really understands dogs. Frisko has some separation anxiety and dog reactivity, and she handled everything with complete ease and care. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
