I am home doing only part-time work, so I have a lot of time to play with the dogs in my large, fenced yard, and there are several parks nearby (Bridle Trails, Taylor, South Rose Hill and Snyder dog park) where I can walk them and make sure they get plenty of exercise.

Dogs are doted on, cuddled, and played with a lot, in my household. I love taking the time to get to know each dog I take care of, and I will work diligently to meet each individual dog's needs and personalities. I am a very active person all year round, so being outdoors with dogs is one of my favorite things. The dogs I care for will be well-attended to, and you can be sure they will have a blast in the large yard, and enjoy plenty of outside time. My children are 9 and 13, and will also heap love on the dogs in the home. The kids will never be left unattended with any dogs, but they are great helpers and assistants. Our dog, Dublin is four years old, and loves all dogs and people. He has a wonderful temperament and has spent quite a bit of time being socialized, and also being boarded in a home with several other dogs. I spent two years training him when he was a puppy and he is just a joy to be around–sweet, playful, well-behaved, and flexible. I can accommodate any dog-sleeping preferences. I have a large crate, as long as the dog is crate trained. I also have a dog ledge near the sofa where dogs can lounge, sleep or play with toys, as well as different size dog beds that are cleaned regularly. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and on beds in my home.

Information Joyce B. would like to know about your pet
My dog is not reactive on leash or around other dogs, so if I am going to walk your dog, my preference is that they are not loud barkers or extremely reactive to other animals. If your dog is not the best on their leash, I can exercise them in the backyard, or other areas where I know there will be less chance of running into another dog. Children are present in the home.
A typical day
I have a wonderful yard where dogs can play together, chase bunnies, look at the neighborhood from a perch, and of course, play fetch. My dog gets a long walk in the morning, usually 3-4 miles with some off leash time as well. In the early evening, he gets another walk, play in the yard with me, or the dog and I head to the dog park. I am open to different exercise regimens for more or less active dogs, and can manage longer or shorter times for exercise.

Dog-Loving Stay at Home Mom
Pet care experience
I am a stay-at-home-mom, and I absolutely adore dogs. I have grown up around dogs until ultimately I got my children their very own puppy four years ago. Before I got my Golden Doodle/Lab mix, I practiced quite a lot by dog-sitting for neighbors and family. I have housed both large and small dogs, and have experience with puppies all the way up to older pups.
Reviews

Our Sophie didn't have much experience staying with non-family members but Joyce was so good with her and very patient, I didn't worry. We really appreciated Joyce helping Sophie feel safe and secure at her house while we were away.
Stella had a great time at Joyce's! We highly recommend her. Great setup for dogs!
Joyce was a wonderful person to work with. My dog Mika was very calm and happy to meet us when we returned, meaning she had a good time. Joyce's updates and photo's were most welcoming and gave me more peace of mind while I was away. I appreciate her kindness and love for the dogs in her care (and her very sweet children:)). I highly recommend Joyces' services to anyone. I look forward to having her watch Mika again in the future.

Joyce was very responsive and made us feel like he was well loved by her family
