“Wow Alexa and her family go above and beyond in making sure your fur baby is well taken care of, and that you are thoroughly communicated with every step of the way. Truly, she is an exceptional sitter, and Stella came home well-rested, comfortable, and anxiety free (rare for her!!!). Expectations entirely exceeded!! Thank you!!”

“We were blown away by Liz! Our dog is normally quite mistrustful of strangers, but he warmed up to Liz right away! She has a fantastic sense of how to make shy dogs comfortable without pushing their boundaries. She was also very accommodating with special requests to make our dog’s first stay with her successful, of which we are so appreciative! It’s abundantly clear how knowledgeable Liz is about dogs, and that she really cares about them!”

“Isabella was so so great with our dog, Benji! She kept us updated on how he was each day and really went the extra mile with making sure Benji was comfortable. Really appreciate the great care and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my dog with her again ! ❤️”

About: ⭐️ Get $20 off on your first booking with me! Use my code AISTEM74203. Hello! My name is Aistė (ice-tah) (she/her) and I am a small business owner and active dog walker in Capitol Hill. I'm a proud dog mom to Leila, a Blue Heeler/Jack Russel Terrier rescue. Leila and I are “Rock Star” certified by Flying Colors Canine Academy, a professional dog training school based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We enjoy exploring every neighborhood of Seattle by bike or foot and hiking trails on the weekends. I have taken care of various dogs, cats, and small animals of all abilities, special needs, shapes, and sizes for over 20 years. I enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality, training together (if needed), and going on fun adventures locally. I am currently accepting dogs, cats, and other animals for boarding and house sitting services. My schedule is flexible throughout the week as I work remotely part-time from home in Capitol Hill. I am now accepting new clients for boarding and house sitting. I live near Volunteer Park and would love to help your pet get their energy out with long walks at local parks and playtime at your home or in my fenced backyard. I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals in various environments and feel deeply in tune to their needs. For house sitting, I would like to meet in person or virtually to discuss your pet's needs so all questions and concerns are addressed.
“This was our first time boarding our 6 month old puppy Todu. Ketaki made the whole experience so easy and stress free. She sent us photos and videos every couple of hours, which we really appreciated. Tofu had tons of fun and even got to socialize with their dog Coco! He came home happy and relaxed. Such a beautiful experience , we’d absolutely book with Ketaki again. Highly recommend!”

“Darlayna is a fantastic sitter! Super responsive and takes great care of Pono. We love the daily check ins and seeing how much fun our quirky pup is having!”

“McKenna and her mom treated Musa like family. They are so sweet and loving and I could tell that our dog felt incredibly well taken care of. They are also wonderful with communication.”

“Fiona was an amazing care giver for Luna! We had a family emergency and she was able to take Luna in same day. She sent pictures and kept me updated. Luna tends to be very picky and she was so comfortable with Fiona and her family that she let them carry and cuddle her (big deal with Luna)”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“Our Sophie didn't have much experience staying with non-family members but Joyce was so good with her and very patient, I didn't worry. We really appreciated Joyce helping Sophie feel safe and secure at her house while we were away.”

“Kelli and her husband were very kind and gentle with Kendra. They kept me updated with pictures and let me know how she’s doing. This was Kendra‘s first time going to a sitter. I would definitely be comfortable having her watch Kendra again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Yarrow Point
I cannot express enough how amazing the care for my pets was. I left both my dog and my cat with Yun-Chun and Ao-Chang. In the past, we've had difficult experiences with other sitters; my dog has anxiety and has had stress induced colitis from previous people he has stayed with. My cat gets very stressed too and will refuse to eat or drink. Yun-Chun and Ao-Chang were incredibly kind, attentive, and patient with my pets and both my dog and my cat came back EXTREMELY well cared for. They even got my cat to eat, which has been impossible for other sitters!! My dog had a blast in their backyard and came home with the biggest smile on his face. I will absolutely be booking again and can't recommend these caregivers enough. Thank you for taking such good care of my pets!!

Cindy and her family were great sitters! Our dog had a good time, and there were many opportunities for her to interact with other dogs in safe environments. I received many informative updates that showed how well my dog was doing, and I could see she was content and having a good time. I can't recommend Cindy highly enough and I won't hesitate to look for her availability to care for my dog again the next time I travel.

Frankie had a wonderful time staying with Kellie while I was out of the country. I felt comfortable knowing she was safe and in good hands while I was gone. Knowing she had a friend to play with and a family to love on in my absence made leaving much easier. Thank you Kellie!

Jenny and her family were absolutely amazing! They took such wonderful care of both of my dogs and treated them like members of their own family. It was clear that my dogs were surrounded by love, attention, and excellent care throughout their stay. They were incredibly responsible and communicative, which gave me complete peace of mind. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend Jenny. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Cookie and Olu!

Kepler had a wonderful time camping with Joyce and Dublin. Joyce has a beautiful fully fenced shaded yard that Kepler can relax in. Her dog Dublin is super chill and friendly. Joyce provided updated and photos of Kepler during his stay. He is looking forward to visiting again.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I did not worry about my baby the whole trip. I got regular updates and Henry went above and beyond. The moment we got there we were treated like family instead of a client. I will definitely be booking again after this extraordinary experience. Usually on a review individuals look for the cons in the situation, for the first time ever, I can’t complain about anything. 😀

Phoebe did a great job taking care of my labradoodle, Theo. We did a meet and greet with her labradoodle, Teddy, before boarding to make sure they got on well. Theo had a wonderful time playing with Teddy throughout his stay and I would board Theo with Phoebe again.

Cindy was fantastic with Frisko! She followed all care instructions, always replied promptly, and provided wonderful daily updates with lots of photos. It was clear she really understands dogs. Frisko has some separation anxiety and dog reactivity, and she handled everything with complete ease and care. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking with her again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
