About: I’ve had dogs for almost my entire life. I raised my Maltese from puppyhood, and she sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 14. Currently, I have a sweet toy poodle named Meimei. She’s extremely friendly, and I’d love for her to make more furry friends. I work from home full-time and will continue doing so through the end of this year. My job is very dog-friendly—before COVID, I often brought my dog to the office to spend time with coworkers’ dogs. I only keep my calendar open on days when I am fully committed to being home, so I can ensure dogs are never left alone and won’t experience separation anxiety. I live in a house with a decently sized backyard in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. Dogs go on walks every day, and my home is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from a major park near Clyde Hill and Bellevue. Dogs are welcome wherever they feel most comfortable—dog beds, the sofa, or even my bed. As long as they are potty-trained, they are allowed on furniture. At this time, I am only accepting small, well-behaved dogs. All dogs must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and flea prevention. I limit care to no more than two dogs at a time (except for dogs from the same household) to ensure each dog receives the attention and care they deserve. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting your pups! 😊 I take the dogs out at least four times a day. Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Before bed. Since I live in an apartment, I do take the dogs out rigorously on walks to make sure they are exercised and happy. I stay home most of the time and I make sure your dog will be on leash whenever we leave the house. My community is in a secluded area where there aren’t many cars. We don’t have neighboring properties that share our land hence we are a very safe community. Other than a few deer 🦌 visitors that hangs around our hilltop each day to graze on grass.

About: I am and always have been an animal lover. I was the kid who always brought home stray cats and dogs convinced my parents to keep them.  I rescued my own first dog 8 years ago, rehabilitated and trained her (a 5-year-old pittie called Missy who sadly passed away a couple of years ago). Since then I have been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and family.  I currently have a 6-year-old white fluffball of a cat called Jasper and I am also a volunteer with Seattle Humane. I am more comfortable with dogs who are past the puppy stage but am open to all ages (I've never had a puppy). I'm very happy to do meet and greets to ensure you feel comfortable about the fit. I’ll always share photos and updates so you know how your fur baby is doing as this is so important to me as a pet owner. I prefer to sit in my clients' homes when they are away so that their pets stay in their normal routine and in the environment they know and are comfortable in.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve been the reliable friend people turn to when they’re away. Some of the routines look like: stopping in to feed pets, provide fresh water, clean up, and offer enrichment and play, and companionship so they feel comfortable and not alone. I also have experience house sitting and staying overnight for up to four nights, making sure pets feel safe, settled, and cared for in their own environment. I’ve been around animals since I was about 10 years old, including golden retrievers, labs, and cats, and I often ask to say hello when I see a furry friend out and about. I welcome different temperaments and adjust myself to meet them where they’re comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so fur babies feel secure, seen, and cared for while their best friend is away. Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. I communicate clearly Send updates like: “Fed, walked, and doing well,” Photos (if allowed) and any changes in behavior or appetite
