“Murou is always trustworthy! She took care of our cat very well while we are away, as she always did. This is the third or fourth time we booked her service and we are very satisfied (so is our cat!). Excellent as always. Thank you so much.”

“Jiaxin did an amazing job with Vinny! I was nervous as he had recently had a medical procedure, but he got the best care from her, and she did a great job keeping me updated on how he was doing. I'm super thankful for her help!”

“Our dog Ace has separation anxiety and Katrina has already helped him so much! Every day he gets more used to us being gone and I know we have her in large part to thank!”

“Caroline is the best! She is a great communicator and clearly cares about our pets 😀 I am grateful to have someone as trustworthy as Caroline to care for our elderly cat while we are traveling.”

“Emily was easily the BEST rover sitter I’ve ever used. She was booked to do 30 min drop ins for my cat while I was gone for nearly 3 weeks, and she was so sweet and communicative! I will definitely be using her services again the next time I’m out of town!!”

About: Since I was 9, I have cared for pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, cats, dogs, chickens, cows, and horses. I have helped with everything from daily feeding and watering, to administering both pills and injections for large and small animals. I have pet-sat for over 10 years, for pets including tropical birds. I love all animals, furry, feathered, or scaly! I currently work full time, and I am off by 3:30 pm in the afternoons. I am usually available all weekend, unless stated otherwise. I am happy to take dogs on walks, hikes, throw frisbees or balls for them. I can also crate them, stay the night at your house for comfort, or just stop by to feed and let them go potty.
“We're so grateful to Brandi for taking such wonderful care of our pets whenever we're out of town. Most recently she looked after our conure for a full week, and she does a fantastic job of keeping us updated on how everything's going. There's nothing better than being away and knowing your pets are in good hands. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets, we can't recommend Brandi highly enough!”

“Mike recently watched my two cats for a week. He took time to meet with me in person, kept me informed on when he stopped in, sent me photos and was very responsive when I asked questions. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend him!”

About: I have had dogs all my life, and have a sweet malti-poo who loves all kinds of other dogs. I am a stay at home retired mom and will care and love your dog just as my own. Since I am retired I will attend to the dogs throughout the day and night so they are not left alone. I take my dog on walks many times of the day and can be flexible with your dog's schedule. I'm currently retired and home all day as is my husband, so I can walk and care for dogs anytime unless I am traveling. Usually I don't have other activities except for caring for my own dog, so I give lots of exercise, playtime, rest and cuddles. I am in an apartment but walk dogs frequently and there are parks and trails all around my area as well as fenced dog parks. I usually start the day with a longer morning walk, then add a lunchtime walk and/or an evening walk and end the day with a last quick walk before getting ready for bed. If dogs are used to crates, I have two crates that they are welcome to utilize if they feel safe that way or if it is part of their regular sleep routine. I also will sleep with dogs if that is what they are used to, I have a large couch that turns into a queen size bed and I frequently sleep in the living room with dogs, as I want them to feel at home with me and do similar things they are accustomed to at their own homes. I always try and keep my energy very calm and non-reactive with dogs, praising with treats and cuddles for good behavior whenever possible. I want every dog I watch to feel secure, safe and loved.
“Tiffany was wonderful with our pug, Marcy! She stopped by several times while we were away to make sure that Marcy was fed, walked, and got some quality play time. I really appreciated the pictures she took, as I always miss Marcy so much when I’m away. Tiffany is extremely knowedgable in dog care. I felt very safe leaving Marcy in her hands. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Nicole was awesome while we were away for the holidays. She sent me pictures of my kitty everyday, letting me know he was okay and well cared for. She also gave him lots of love and played with him daily. Nicole even brought packages (not in her job description) into the apartment for us. Thank you Nicole!”

“Sandra is such a sweetheart! She was great during the meet and greet, asked lots of questions and approached our cats gently - the more outgoing of our two kitties even trusted her for some belly rubs! While we were away, she was very communicative, and we felt confident our boys were in good hands. She did a great job and we would happily trust her to care for them again next time!”

About: My love for dogs goes back to my childhood, having grown up with them as part of my family. I truly believe that dogs are our best friends in the world, and that passion drives my commitment to providing exceptional care. I work from home, which allows me to offer constant attention and playtime for your pup. My own 4-year-old chocolate lab, Coco, has been with me since he was just 2 months old. I remember the early days of crate training, potty training, and socializing him, and I use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure a happy and well-adjusted dog. With experience from volunteering at dog shelters and caring for friends' dogs while they travel, I know how to cater to each dog’s individual needs. My fully fenced yard offers a secure and stimulating environment for your furry friend. I work at home. My flexible working hours allows me to offer constant attention and playtime for your pup. I’m available for boarding most of the time, except when I am traveling. Your dog will have access to a secure and spacious yard where they can safely play and explore, and they’ll enjoy fun activities with my own dog, Coco, who loves fetching balls and going on hikes. I strive to keep your pet’s routine consistent and maintain their comfort in their own environment, whether at my home or yours. I adhere to your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any specific health instructions, including administering medications if needed. I’m always available for any questions or concerns you may have during your time away, ensuring your pet receives the best care possible.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for almost a decade now and there is no pet to small or large for me I love them all and can’t wait to meet yours soon! I care for pets all day, every day and it’s currently my full time job and I can’t wait to meet some new fur buddies! I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, exercise, and medications, while keeping their environment safe and stress-free. I provide attentive care, monitor behavior, and send regular updates, treating every pet with responsibility and care.
“I just cannot say enough wonderful things about Alfonso and the care he provides to our dogs while we are away. He is amazing, patient, on-time, respectful, caring, thorough, funny and a great photographer! His notes let us know exactly how our pups are doing along with pictures too! We all love Alfonso and would highly recommend him!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since my early childhood years and have found it to have provided some of the most worthwhile experiences I've had in my life. I've owned 3 dogs: a pitbull, rottweiler, and even a maltese. This is why taking care of any dog, large or small, is no problem for me. Living in San Diego for school has unfortunately separated me from the dogs that have become a big part of my life. I am able to provide attentive care for any dog in my responsibility and can pick up on the nuances that each dog enjoys. I joined Rover because I wanted to be able to spread the same care that I treated my own dogs with and to revel in the therapeutics benefits of bonding with dogs.

About: I love dogs. There are no more loving and positive creatures on this earth and I strive to return the love they show right back to them. Although I have no professional dog care experience, I've had a pet dog for most of my life and before I had a real dog to care for I cared for an imaginary dog as well. My first dog was a beagle named Sparkey and I currently have a shih tzu named Harley. I've also cared for my sister's large American Bulldog, Marley, on several occasions. Not to mention the fact that my second middle name is Roch, the patron saint of dogs and dog lovers. I love dogs and strongly believe there is no such thing as a bad dog. I am patient and caring with dogs and will ensure proper, loving care to any dog entrusted to me. I know how much I love my dogs and would treat any dog under my care as if they were my own. I don't mean to sound arrogant but I think dogs love me. Dogs are an excellent judge of character and most dogs trust me immediately. I know basic dog care knowledge, but plan on learning more. I'm currently reading the book "Inside of a Dog" a book about the thought process of a dog which gives the reader a better understanding of dogs. I also plan on learning doggy CPR if I receive enough clients. I'm going to be graduating from college in May and am currently in the job hunt, so I'm looking for a little bit of extra income during the summer. I currently am only coaching a local swim team which the middle part of my day is very open to caring for dogs. I do have a dog of my own who I walk everyday after I get home from coaching morning practice, so I will always be available after I care for him. Thank you and I look forward to meeting your beautiful pooches!
About: I've had multiple dogs growing up. In high school I had two jack russels, one was blind with diabetes and the other who was deaf. They needed a little more care than most dogs. I also have some experience with larger and more active dogs. I am a fairly active person who loves to be in nature and would love to have a furry friend to accompany.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. My family had dogs from the time I was born, so I truly grew up alongside them. I've also been a cat parent for the past six years, which has given me plenty of firsthand experience with the very different personalities and needs of both cats and dogs. Over the years, friends have often trusted me to care for their pets while they're away. As a pet parent myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pet and your home in someone else's hands. Having someone reliable, attentive, and trustworthy makes all the difference. That's exactly the kind of care I hope to provide. I'll treat your pets with patience and affection, respect their individual routines and personalities, and keep you updated so you can feel comfortable knowing they're in good hands while you're away. My schedule is currently quite flexible, which allows me to accommodate walks and drop-in visits at different times throughout the day. I do make plans and have activities of my own from time to time, but with a little advance notice, I can usually work around your pet's routine and find a time that works well. I know that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big deal. I will carefully follow your instructions and your pet's usual routine, keep dogs securely leashed during walks, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. During drop-in visits, I'll also treat your home with care and respect and make sure everything is secure before I leave.

Juniper is without a doubt, absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her!!! My precious girl, Ellie, is a rescue and I’ll admit I was very wary of leaving her in the care of a pet sitter. But Juniper blew both of us away! We initially did a meet and greet, during which Juniper listened intently, took notes, and asked helpful questions. Juniper took the time to actually get to know Ellie. She was very attentive and respectful of Ellie’s boundaries, but also very kind. Ellie warmed up to her very quickly! During her visits with Ellie, she took photos and kept me updated on how she was doing. She played with ellie, had some lap dog time, gave her treats, cleaned up after her, and filled up her water bowls. Last but not least, Juniper left a cute doodle of Ellie. I mean how great can you get! I quite literally had no worries at all during Juniper’s visits. Seeing my Ellie so happy was so amazing and I’m so grateful for Juniper. If you’re looking for a sitter who goes above and beyond, is patient and caring with your pet, and is attentive to their needs - look no further!

I could not recommend them more! They took such good care of my dog, George, while I was out of town. He got so much attention and play time. They even left him a little gift ❤️ They’re very attentive with instructions and send plenty of photos so you can make sure your dog is happy.

Alec is fantastic! He helped with drop-in visits for our dog. He was great with our dog! Our dog was initially nervous and unsure, even after a meet and greet, but Alex was patient and understanding and able to manage the situation, understanding the Norm wasn't ready yet and communicated everything. Timely, communicative, and so kind, we wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

Ethan was fantastic for our dogs first day care! At the meet-and-greet he took time to get to know both dogs on a short stroll around the neighborhood and paid careful attention to the instructions. After the first visit Ethan sent a photo of both dogs in the backyard - happy and ready to play. Really appreciate the punctuality and care he put into the details.

Elena was amazing with our dog Quill! Quill is a little bit nervous around new people and anxious with loud sounds but Elena made sure she was comfortable, happy, and safe while we were away. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and highly recommend Elena!

Kris is absolutely incredible. She provided such wonderful care of our senior pup, putting him at ease right away. Not only helped our pup, but she provided just as much help for me too by teaching me how to manage difficult nail care. Such a sweet and personable dog lover and is an emergency vet ta boot!!!!! If there was a gold medal for Rovers- Kris would have earned one today. 🥇🥇🥇

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
