I have a soft spot for dogs who are shy or anxious, and whose trust I need to earn. I am particularly experienced with northern breeds such as Huskies and Malamutes. Regular clients get great benefits on top of in-house pet sitting. My base rate includes 1 hour or more of exercise (off leash park or leashed hike). I offer nail trims/dremels and light grooming at no additional cost. I offer deshedding/bathing for a modest fee, and I'm flexible about last minute schedule changes. For housesitting gigs, my dog Kaya is my +1. She provides stellar socialization and exercise for dogs who will accept canine visitors. I respect that some of owners feel reluctant to invite in dogs they don't know. If you would like your dog to have socialization with visitors but you're concerned, I have a lot of training experience with this and I may be of some help. Juniper is the BEST! We have done both drop-in visits and overnight stays. Brandi was an excellent fit for our family of fur babies. She gave us lots of updates with pictures and videos as well as giving us heads up on the schedule for each day. She followed all the instructions we left and even went above and beyond sweeping up after our enthusiastic diggers (cats). While our dog likes most people, she was certainly smitten with Brandi and on her best behavior. More impressively, our 2 very shy rescue cats also warmed up to her faster than any other sitter we've had. My plant collection is also happy and safe which I really appreciate. Maryna and Dima did a phenomenal job with our two pups, Honey and Bruno! My husband and I went out of town for 3 days, and they stayed at our house, taking amazing care of both the dogs and keeping our home incredibly tidy. Our pups are very high-energy and crazy, so we were naturally a bit anxious about leaving them. However, they sent constant pictures and updates that completely put our minds at ease. They kept them so well-exercised that they were happy and tired each day - honestly, they were even a little bit better behaved when we got back than when we left them!
