“Junbo stayed overnight in my home for multiple nights and took wonderful care of my dogs. She sent lots of updates, photos, and videos, and it was clear from every one how happy, comfortable, and well loved they were. I really appreciated her communication and the peace of mind she gave me while I was away. My dogs were relaxed, content, and clearly well cared for — which matters most. I would absolutely book Junbo again and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive sitter. 🐾💛”

“I have been using Rover for five years and have hired numerous dog sitters, but Mingxin is definitely the best one I have ever met. She is a very responsible person who pays attention to every detail of my requests. She provides great communication, always sends updates on my dog, and makes sure everything is in place. She walks my dog twice a day, taking her on long walks to explore. My dog was taken care of so well that I didn't have to worry about a thing while I was on vacation. I will definitely hire her again and I really appreciate her service!”

“Noah was great, he was very patient in getting to know Abby and kept us up to date on the progress. Abby did warm up and they became good buddies. Noah was very low impact, the house was as neat as it was when we left. I would gladly have him come back!”

“James went above and beyond in caring for our dog, Toby! He made sure Toby got great outside time, even when the weather was terrible, and left music and the lights on for him so he wasn't lonely before we got home. He left our house super clean, would definitely book with him again!”

“Natalia is a fantastic housesitter and cat whisperer! She handled my brave troublemaker and shy old lady with ease, sending pictures and comments every day. We were vacationing several time zones away in a place with limited cell phone service, and when things came up and we couldn’t connect immediately she just figured it out and handled it beautifully. We returned to a clean home and happy kitties. A++++++”

“Dana was absolutely awesome with our pups and our home. We have three dogs and she took amazing care of them and great care of our house. Frequent communication, great photos, and went way above and beyond and took us to airport and even picked us up late at night. We've used Rover in the past but with mixed results. Dana is the real deal and we were very lucky to have her. I hope we can work with her again soon. Our pups are super relaxed and we didn't worry a bit while we were away knowing our home and pups were in very capable hands. Thanks so much, Dana you made our vacation worry free!”
About: I have loved animals since I was kid. Our family got a dog (finally!) when I was in high-school (after many years of begging my parents :). I started pet and house sitting in the early 2000s because of my love for animals. I've watched dogs, cats, and even a chinchilla. I volunteered as a foster parent with PAWS in the Seattle area for almost three years, getting dogs ready for adoption. You'll always see me ask to pet a dog when passing one on a walk. I currently work remotely so have availability all days of the week. I live in Seattle and have pet-sat in the city as well as on the Eastside for many families. I am careful to follow all safety protocols: making sure the area is safe and avoiding any aggressive-displaying animals while obeying neighborhood & street requirements.
“Sophia was great taking care of Howie and house sitting while I was traveling for 4 nights. This was the first time using her so I was a little nervous but she did everything I asked and more. Howie has a specific routine, exercise frequency and prescription diet and she followed that as asked. She provided frequent updates along with pictures and video which I appreciated. I would highly recommend her and have already confirmed the next house sitting job.”

“Rachel did an incredible job caring for our older dog for 1 week. She gave her lots of slow walks and loving attention! I swear Rainbow seemed more spry when we got home! She was great at communicating. I highly recommend Rachel!”

“We really enjoyed Justelle’s help taking care of our dog while we were on vacation. She was communicative, responsible and super loving. Very glad that our dog also made a new friend.”

“Shana was very attentive to Cleo and shared daily pictures. Cleo was well fed and happy when I returned home from my trip. Boarding with her was very easy and I would reccomend.”

“Tyler was so loving with Sage, our aging, needy cat. She understood Sage and what was needed throughout each day. She took great care of the house, and was responsible, communicative and thoughtful throughout her stay. I would definitely ask her to catsit again.”

“Brandi is great! She is friendly, competent, and caring. She took care of my three high needs pets for two days sending me updates through out her care. Her attention to detail allowed me to enjoy my time away and not worry about my babies.”

“Dahae was fantastic house sitting for my two fur babies. She was very communicative by sending multiple photos every day and respectful of my apartment making it seem like we’d never even left. I would love to book her again in the future :)”

Clyde Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
Angie took great care of my french bulldog puppy Remy! My flight home also was unexpectedly canceled at the last second, and she graciously extended her care—super flexible, so grateful. We’ll definitely contact Angie again the next time we need a dog sitter!

We loved our experience having Dana watch our 3 pups for a week while we were on vacation! She was very communicative, eager to meet our dogs’ needs, and sent great daily updates and cute pictures! It is easy to see how much Dana cares for the dogs she watches. Dana was also very respectful of our house while she stayed here with our pups, and did a fantastic job at ensuring all of our preferences were met. We will be working with Dana again in the future and certainly recommend her!

I booked my first ever house-and-cat sitter on Rover, and I could not have chosen a more thoughtful, kind, and caring person to care for our cat and home while we were away. Lydia's love and affinity for animals is immediately apparent, and she visited us several times to get to know us before her assignment; Dasha, typically shy with strangers, would readily approach Lydia for petting when beckoned, which was a great sign. I made every effort to make our home feel safe and comfortable during Lydia's stay, and left detailed instructions and information about Dasha and our house, which she followed faithfully. She sent daily updates on Dasha's welfare and cute photos and videos every day we were away. We returned from our trip to an immaculate home and a calm, happy cat. I would book Lydia again without hesitation, and recommend her wholeheartedly to the Rover community. :-)

Deanna took excellent live-in care of our Dog and Cat for 5 nights. She was communicative, flexible, responsive and left the house cleaner than when we left! It was a relief knowing the animals were in good hands and we will happily rebook in the future. Thanks, DeAnna!

Madisyn did a great job looking after our pets while we were away for nearly 3 weeks. She managed to keep our indoor/outdoor cat inside and entertained due to coyote sightings in the neighborhood, and gave extra love to our dogs that had a bit of separation anxiety. She was great to communicate with and sent daily pictures of all our girls (pets). We will definitely look to book with her again next time we are away.

Eva was so sweet with our puppies and even let them cuddle up on the bed with her. She did great with giving medication. The dogs didn’t get walked daily but she was also pet sitting for us during an atmospheric river so I’m sure weather played a factor. The pups were happy when we returned home.

Alyssa stayed with our two dogs and conure while we were out of town. She took great care of the animals and kept us updated on how everything was going. I really appreciate her spending time at the house with them and getting them out for walks. I would highly recommend Alyssa!

Sophia was absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to book her at all. My pup loved her right away which made leaving her a little easier. She also was very good at communication and sending pictures to let you know how much fun your pup is having. I would highly recommend Sophia for any and all your dog needs.

Michele took excellent care of our pets and home while we were away on an extended holiday. She was easy to communicate with, very thorough, and has a natural ease with animals. We feel fortunate to have found her and will definitely use her again for future trips.

Our puppy Murphy is a big energetic boy who loves to get into mischief. Kat did a great job with him, and he was a happy boy when we got home. Since this was our first time leaving him with someone else, I was very relieved that he did so well with her. I would definitely trust her again to watch our boy!
