“Sue did a great job watching my dog and house sitting. My dog and house were the same way I left them after leaving for 5 days. In addition, when my plane was cancelled and I had to take a later flight, Sue stepped up and stayed at my house a few hours later then what was scheduled. Sue is a reliable sitter.”

She took the time to understand our dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Throughout the stay, Brandi kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which we really appreciated. It was clear our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 12 years old when got my first dog. Very quickly dog owners started trusting me with walking their dogs as well and pet sitting them while owners are away. I have experience of dog sitting from 1 to 12 dogs in a household. For now I work full time, but I am in the process of transitioning to part time. I will be happy to assist over the weekend and visit your pets during business days after work. I keep animals in a safe, clean, and secure environment by following the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication, and exercise routines. I always supervise pets during visits or walks, ensure doors and leashes are secure, and prioritize their comfort and safety in any setting
“Our favorite sitter! Went on our 2nd two week long trip and Teresa is the only one we trust with our Indy. We have the utmost peace of mind with her daily updates, lots of cute photos and videos, and how she’s helped us with his socialization. Indy goes to cafes for pup cups, explores new parks, lots of long walks, and much more. He’s so spoiled and loved! Our home is always so clean too! Thank you so much for everything 🌸🩷”

“Elan is so great with our two dogs - one older and one very active lab - and gave them great care and exercise. Great communication and flexibility on both drop in care and housesitting.”

“This is the second time using Uliana and I am very happy to have her watch my pup Ginger again. She loves dogs and cats and I appreciate her philosophy to their care. She stayed with my pup for 5 days and I knew Ginger was in good hands.”

“Dorothy did a great job taking care of our very particular corgi, Ella. She was very thorough with her intake about how to best care for her (and our home). Was on time (early in fact), sent photos and kept in touch while we were away daily. The house was spotless as well. We appreciated knowing Ella was being well taken care of and would book Dorothy again!”

“Elena was fantastic! We were really nervous to leave our young puppy, Bay, for the first time but Elena made it so easy and stress free! She took such great care of Bay and sent regular updates! Bay was sad to see her go when we got home! She also left our house cleaner than when we left it. We will certainly use Elena to watch Bay again in the future!”

Liliana was wonderful with our dog Luna! She clearly loved and cared for her as if she were her own. Luna was happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed her time with Liliana. We really appreciated the excellent communication and the peace of mind knowing Luna was in such good hands. We would recommend Liliana and would be happy to have her care for Luna again!

We just moved to Seattle from Chicago and needed to find a new trustworthy sitter for our very active 2 year old Doberman and our cat. David was amazing with both our pets and made them feel very comfortable while we were gone. He was very responsive and provided us with many photos and updates leaving us with nothing to worry about while we were away. He also left our home in perfect condition as he was staying with the pets for a few days. Highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again in the future 😊

We re-booked Dahae after having a wonderful experience with her stay the first time. Again, she’s very loving towards the pets making sure they are well taken care of and I appreciated that she sends photos of the animals everyday. She’s very respectful of the home and it was nice to come back to a clean place. Thank you again for taking care of Yoshi and Leo :)

Jenna was absolutely amazing. Truly the GOAT of cat sitters! She took such wonderful care of my cats and left my home exactly as I had left it. She sent me tons of photos and detailed updates about what the cats were doing, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even brought them toys and took the time to understand each cat’s unique personality, giving them individual attention based on what they were comfortable with. I never even asked her to do that, she just went above and beyond on her own. To top it all off, she wrote the cutest little pet report and left it on the table for me to read when I got home. It was such a thoughtful touch. I could not have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely book Jenna again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring, attentive, trustworthy, and genuinely wonderful with cats!

Caleb and Nicole were wonderful with our fur babies during our wedding! This was our second time booking with them, and once again they were flexible, trustworthy, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. They sent lots of great photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We would happily recommend them and absolutely plan to book with them again!

Ingrid took incredible care of Morticia while we were out of town for 4 days. She provided attentive care, playtime, and administered medication while we were gone. Morticia was in a great mood and showed health improvements when we came home. Ingrid provided daily photo updates and asked clarifying questions about Morticia’s care. Thank you for taking such good care of Morticia, Ingrid— we will definitely book again!

kristen was amazing! i have to admit—i was nervous! this was our first time leaving our puppers for this long. my husband and i went to hawaii for a week and kristen came to stay at our house. not only did she do everything we asked of her, she went above and beyond (administering medication) and messaged us daily with updates, pics/videos…. i was completely as ease the whole time and actually enjoyed my vacation. my pom has separation anxiety and she didn’t cry once while i was gone.. that’s HUGE. i will defo call her next time we leave town. i trust her completely🩷

James is great! This was his second time caring for our dog & two cats — we came home to pets who, though happy to see us, weren’t desperate to have us home… they were obviously well cared for. James is a good communicator, patient with our sometimes anxious dog, and won over our shy cats. Much appreciated!

Betsy was fantastic! She was taking care of two dogs and a cat for me, and everything about her care was top notch. The dogs got lots of walks and play time, and my kitty got lots of cuddling. She took excellent care of the house as well - including leaving it perfectly clean when I got home. I'm really impressed and very grateful!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Beaux Arts Village on Rover is $65.49 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 8,357 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Beaux Arts Village. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Beaux Arts Village walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Beaux Arts Village maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beaux Arts Village choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
