I am a former employee of both the humane society and Dogwalker etc. At the humane society, I received a lot of formal training on dog behavior as well as fostered a lot of animals. My family loves dogs and would be happy to take care of your child-friendly fur babies. I use positive reinforcement and make sure they get a lot of excercise. I can help follow routines your pet is used to, as well as giving any medication that may be on. :) In addition to dogs, I took an ASPCA cat behavior training, and I am well versed in small animal (especially rabbits) needs. The pets must be good with older children and friendly cats. If so, then they will receive lots of love and attention and get plenty of exercise!

Mele stayed with Ingrid for seven days over the Christmas holiday. I felt pretty confident that things would workout well after meeting Ingrid and her family, and was reassured in that feeling upon picking Mele up. Mele appeared happy as ever with her tail held up high. Ingrid and her family are animal lovers, and they seemed to have taken Mele into their family. I've used Vet. boarding in the past but in this particular situation, the outcome was a much more healthy experience.
Ingrid and her lovely family were such a welcome and nurturing home for Hoku while I was away. In all of the photos, Hoku looked so happy and cared for. This allowed me to focus on my work, knowing that he was safe and in a good home. Ingrid was always responsive to questions and requests. I would be so happy to use her again to care for Hoku. Highly recommend!
My wife has been a true animal lover since her childhood. I've seen her sactifice sleep to hand-feed kittens every two hours and work with distraught animals at the intake department of the humane society. She is a great caretaker of animals and would treat your pet like her own

Schedule
I recently moved to Mercer Island and am focusing on settling in. I love animals and being outside and would love to walk dogs as I get to know the area.

A typical day
I enjoy wandering around at a leisurely pace where the dog can sniff and we can explore. I also like using toys for stimulation. When my dog was a puppy, he loves kongs and other puzzle solving games.
