Availability
I do have a part-time job, so your pets must be okay with being left alone for 4-6 hours during the day! I will always let your dogs out to go potty before I leave and when I get back. I'll also feed them before or after my shift if it coincides with their regular feeding times!

When dog-sitting at a client's house, I make sure to look after the dog's every need. I will also send update pictures of your pet to keep you connected to them while you are away! I will always leave the house as clean and fresh as it was when I arrived so all you need to do when you get back is relax!
Information Justelle H. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know the breed, age, and if the dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions. I'd also need to know if they take any medications, and if they do, when they take it and how frequently (detailed instructions on the exact dosage and how to administer it to your pet is crucial!) Also let me know about the dog's temperament. If they are anxious, or don't get along well with other dogs, I'd like to know that beforehand to prep myself for the stay :)
A typical day
I try to tailor each stay to fit the specific needs of the pet(s) and the pet parent! Normally, I will research dog parks or dog friendly areas near the residence to take the dog to. (If your pet has any favorite spots, please let me know!) I love getting outside and staying active, so if your dog needs plenty of exercise, it's no problem! At night, I will cuddle up with the dog on the couch while I read or watch TV.

Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life, and I've always felt at home with them! Two of the dogs I have had were special needs, and I learned the best ways to care for them and make sure they were happy and healthy. I officially started dog-sitting four years ago and I've had an absolute blast doing it! During the summer of 2022, I worked part-time at a doggy day camp/boarding facility and gained a lot of valuable hands-on experience in the realm of pet care. There were about 90 dogs on average every day, and I was responsible for running group play time, feeding and preparing medications, keeping their rooms clean and tidy, and specialized one-on-one play time for senior pups :)

Justelle is magic with cats. She coaxed our extremely shy cat out of hiding so she could give him his inhaler. I wasn’t even sure it would be possible for a cat sitter to get that done with him! She’s a an animal lover and we love having her take care of our babies.
